A perfect reflection.
There was no wind and so no ripple in the water of the saltpan which was the perfect setting for this godwit.
I think it is a Black-tailed Godwit, because of the length and colour of the the bill, but it could also be a Bar-tailed Godwit. I find those two always confusing.

Black-tailed godwits
The flock of black-tailed godwits were hyper-vigilant and regularly took to the air at the least provocation, possibly because the marsh harriers were hunting.

Some cool birds I saw on a uni trip in the Alcazar de San Juan lakes. Definitely the best thing I've ever seen in Ciudad Real. Also it was really cool seeing wild flamingos.
European stonechat (Saxicola rubicola)
Black-tailed godwit (Limosa limosa)
Northern shoveler (Spatula clypeata)
Black-necked grebe (Podiceps nigricollis)
Greater flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus)
