Incorrect Quiche (aka Breakfast made of loose items from my fridge in a blind moment of not wanting to waste ingredients or my own time)
Special items: 9-in pie pan (though can be scaled for basically any ovensafe cookware)
Ingredients:
Ready to cook Biscuits
3 eggs
Shredded cheese
Optional: Country gravy mix
Recipe:
1. Preheat oven to 350. At this time you can also line the bakeware with anything that will help eggs not stick, if the pan is nonstick it should be fine.
2. Open the biscuits. One by one, peel the layers of them and stretch until they cover the bottom of your container in full. Pinching together small sections works but adding more dough is better if you want to play it safe.
3. Crack and mix your eggs, season them to your liking and pour the mixed eggs on top
4. Add-ins! Cheese is the default but make this like a quiche, it will comfortably fit veggies and or meat if that’s what you’re looking for.
5. Pop the bakeware into the oven. Cooks for roughly 15-20 minutes but at any time if the center of the eggs on top is no longer liquid then it has fully cooked through.
6. If using Country gravy mix, make it here so everything is equally warm.
7. Flip onto a plate in order to prevent cutting into your bakeware. If the egg has baked onto the bottom then use a spoon along the edges until you get it to peel, at which point the biscuit will likely not be stuck and slip right out.
EAT IT!!
I had too many biscuits for my only 13x9 pan and didn’t wanna do two batches for no reason so I made this Knock-off Quiche. It’s very spongy since it’s mostly eggs but honestly very good and mostly made of ingredients I had laying around. Cuts into something like 4 medium pieces for sharing or transport. Highly recommend tossin gravy over the top but it is good without too.
If I have time after work soon ima homemake the biscut dough and report back, but store bought will always be faster and often cheaper.

being a long time friend of tommy, you’ve gotten to know his parents quite well throughout the years too
and you were ecstatic to hear that his parents had invited you to their house for dinner !
tommy’s other friends were also invited :D
it was a warm summer day and the weather was perfect!
fatherinnit was starting up the barbecue grill outside whilst tommy ran around in the garden with freddie and eryn
being closer to motherinnit, you remained inside and helped her bake chocolate cookies
you two were enjoying yourselves while following the instructions of the cookbook when you heard motherinnit sigh a quiet “oh no”
“what’s wrong?” you asked, then turning to the direction she was looking at
immediately you knew what she was thinking
out the kitchen window you could see freddie had lit a fire in an empty pot and tommy was running around with a stick and camera, chasing eryn
you and motherinnit simultaneously laughed at the sight and continued to mix the ingredients together
once the dough was made, you scooped them onto the baking sheets
after the cookies were set in the oven, you went out in the garden
before you could join tommy, freddie, and eryn, fatherinnit waved you over
“y/n! dinner is almost finished, can you put out the fire? or... well.”
he had handed you the watering hose and you laughed at what he was implying
“yes sir!”
you snuck up to tommy who was stood behind a tree, not aware of your presence
not feeling too mean, you sprayed him with the water, sparing freddie and eryn
the two laughed whilst capturing everything on camera
tommy on the other hand shouted a out curse
“OI Y/N! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?”
he wasn’t mad, just startled
“you were going to set your whole garden on fire, but don’t shoot the messenger; it was fatherinnit’s orders after all.”
“DAD?” tommy yelled at him, but by his tone he wasn’t shocked
fatherinnit only chuckled and walked inside with the food he finished grilling
the rest of you had followed back inside and helped prepare the table
once everyone was washed up, you all sat down at the table
on the table were the steaks fatherinnit had made along with a bowl of peas and potatoes
just before everyone was finishing their meal, motherinnit brought out the cookies you had made in a small tray
tommy was the first one to try the cookie which he swiftly took from the platter the moment motherinnit placed it on the table
“this is a good fuckin’ biscuit mum!”
she laughed at his statement
“tell that to y/n, they did most of the work”
tommy turned to you with widened eyes, blinking back and forth from his cookie and you
“holy shit y/n, you can cook”
you couldn’t tell whether it was a question or a statement
“of course i can, you prick”
“oh. well, uh, one thing. it just... needs a little more salt”
freddie and eryn choked on a laugh from remark, which you chuckled at
“oh be quiet tommy, i could’ve poisoned you if i wanted”
“should have” motherinnit and fatherinnit had let out under their breath in sync which caused more laughter to come from the table
except for tommy who looked betrayed, but it looked like he was holding back a laugh
“fine i take back what i said, your biscuits are amazing”
you boasted from the compliment and nibbled on your own cookie which you haven’t tried until now
to your surprise, it came out better than you could even imagine
it left you at awe
“motherinnit, this biscut recipe is amazing! you need to give me a copy”
she laughed and gave you a wholehearted smile
“of course, y/n. and you can to come by anytime if you want to make anything else with me”
you didn’t expect to tear up over a biscut
her words alone made you felt welcome
it felt like home

idk if anyone answered you about the Canned Croissants in USA but yes they are good (usually and depending on if you can tear the shapes out correctly), yes they are cheap, and... i never even considered they might not be a thing outside of USA but that makes sense. We also have canned Biscuts. 👌
No one had answered so thank you ❤️ I’m jealous I want croissants in a can. The biscuits thing though....I’ve lived in America and just couldn’t get into biscuits. They’re like unsweetened scones, and I just couldn’t eat a scone with savoury dinner and not jam and cream. Also here in Australia biscuits (bickies) are cookies.
I think the croissants would do well here, but American style biscuits never would.
When I lived in the states I was amused and surprised by the fact that you could buy pizza dough in a can, and the first time I got one I butchered trying to get it out because I tried to use a can opener 🤣 the whole peeling a can open was new to me.

Had a shitpost thought while making biscuts this morning to use up bread starter

So if i remember right, in the spn verse its not unheard of for haunted objects to be the only thinng a ghost is hanging on to. Like, the body is gone gone and the ghost is just attached to the object so they have to destroy the object to stop the haunting.
You know what people might actually murder them for destroying though?
An old as fck bread starter. A mother dough, if you will.
Which lead me to questioning... how would someone exorcise the ghost without harming the starter? Could you just take the greater part of it and salt and burn that? Or would the remaining starter still be enough to hang on to? Are there anti-haunting magics they never bothered with because it took too long? Could you store the starter in a sigil-marked container and do something with the baking process to keep it from haunting the loaves? I have questions!

So made an attempt at making peppermint patties. And gotta say it worked fucking well. Ive tired a couple of shapes till i got the one that woreked best. My biscut and donut cutters were a little too large. But i found a lid that was about an inch across and it was thenperfect size. And hand rolling thrm and pressing them flat also worked.

One can of sweetened condensed milk needs about 5 to 6 cups of powder sugar
You want more of a sugar cookie consistency
be not afraid to add more mint as you work in the dough.
Im working in batches and its 100 ok to leave the dough in the fridge overnight.

My problem with making fun of someone famous for how they look is... you're not hurting them, you know? You're not going up to some horrible person and telling them they're ugly. You're going online and talking shit on uncontrolable aspects of a person's appearance and they're never going to see that.
Guess who probably will see it though? Countless other people who share the same physical traits that you're making fun of. Even if Len* looks like uncooked biscut dough, statistically speaking there are 7 other people in the world who look exactly the same. And millions of other people who have similar cheek bones or noses or lips.
If you wanna talk about how awful someone is, talk about things they should actually feel bad about. Don't say things that'll hurt people who have nothing to do with your point unnecessarily.

After years of living down south I finally made some buttermilk biscuits y'all! The dough turned out pretty wet but I just did some cusses and kept adding flour and I think they turned out pretty good. If you have been following my post you know that I have struggled with making the Chocolate Chunk and Chip Cookies 4″ with nice sides.  I have solved the problem.  
Four inch biscut cutters!  Cooking the dough inside the 4″ rings give you a perfect four inch cookie.  They are very thick cookies but that is the only way you will get four inch cookies.  Many of the cookie recepies in the Bouchon Bakery book say they make six 4″ round cookies.  It does not say to use a ring to bake them but there is no other way, believe me I’ve tried them all.  Without the rings they end up 5 1/2″ to 6″ round.  
While working on the perfect size cookie I made the Double Chocolate Chunk and Chip Cookie as well.  The only change in the original recipe is to change the flour to 190 grams and adding 48 grams of cocoa powder.  It’s a very simple subsitution but make an increadibly rich chocolatey cookie.  I had all my amazing tast tester try both the 4″ cookies and the 5 1/2″ cookies of both variety.  The verdict was split with several liking the texture and the look of the 4″ cookie and others perfering the look and texture of the 5 1/2″ cookie instead.  I guess it’s up to you to dicide what you like best.  I think I like the look of the ringed cookies but I do like the 5 1/2″ size because they are not quite so thick, plus they fit nicer in the boxes I just got when they are bigger.
Now for the last of these cookies.  The Chocolate Chunk and Chip Cookies are very much like many Chocolate Chip cookies I have had.  They do not add vanilla in the recipe in the book and I find that I miss the vanilla. I also like adding a little spice to my Chocolate Chip Cookies.  I will put my own Chocolate Chunk and Chip Cookie reciepe on the next post and you can try for yourself what you like better.
As for the Double Chocolate Chunk and Chip Cookies, I find that they are too one note.  I need to break them up with some type of flavor burst that adds to the Chocolate tast but helps wake up the palet.  I will search for just the right addition/s and let you know what I come up with.  I will be opening an online store soon so that you can try some of my creations.  Keep checking back it should be ready before the end of the month. For now, happy baking!

DIARY ENTRY - Saturday 12th August 2017
So, today was pretty fun.
Like always, I was playing with cute pup for a bit, went to Morrins to get italian cheese, doggy biscutes for Lilith and two boxs of haid dye for my mum, with mum.
Had a nice dinner, haven’t really been on the internet much because I’ve been busy with everything today, as we woke up very late. But I started to make my italian Deep-Fried Stuffed Pizza(s), but, I just done the dough... I’ve put the dough in the boiler cupboard now. I will carry on doing the cooking tomorrow morning.
But, I haven’t done anything else today, just been busy withh Lilith and going shopping for things.
But, I’m gonna go.... I’m super tired, didn’t sleep well at all last, next door deciede to build, so, that was great, just greaaaaaaat...................
