In relation to another post, I think I'd like to give my basic thoughts on ships; Ash ships in particular to start with because that's easy.

Poké- Childhood mutual crushes. The sillies. AU Notes — Ash got burned by Misty leaving and ignored love for a while. Misty moved on. By the time the subject came up again, she gently rejected him. They tried dating as adults but it felt awkward and weird. They think the other is attractive but it just does not work. They'd rather give each other noogies and dead arms than date.

Advance - Not my favorite, but charming and cute. AU Notes — They're both committed to their primary partners, but they do casually date as adults. They grow up to have a lot in common and have nice chemistry. That said, you'd hardly notice that they're not just BFFs unless you see them kiss or something.

Pearl - OTP! They're so perfect. Made for each other. Endgame. AU Notes — Endgame. They're married. Ash and Dawn start dating a year after Diamond/Pearl and they support each other more and more; Dawn is the perfect emotional confidant for Ash and vice versa. Lacking a lot of his inhibitions for sharing his grief and worries, and not one to criticize him much, she's a great match for him. Likewise, Ash is a bit more emotionally in-tune and is good for her!

Negai - Conceptually great, but canon sours this one for me hard. The mean-spiritedness of BW makes me resent a lot of their interactions. But on paper, I think it's a great ship with some tweaks! AU Notes — Their friendship is a lot closer to my ideal, here. Fellow hard-headed trainers turned Champions. There's just a touch of chemistry here; they comfort each other and hug things out in private and share a lot with each other emotionally. But, as far as most of the world is concerned, they're just tight friends.

Amour - My second favorite ship for Ash in canon. I do wish it got more buddy-buddy moments in the vein of Pearl, but I really appreciate their story and influence on one another, it's very cute. AU Notes — Part of my OT3! Serena and Ash become quick emotional confidants in Kalos, with Ash in heavy denial about his budding feelings. Dawn's arrival throws them for a loop, and only wants what makes all three of them happiest, once she too falls for Serena. They all date, and later get married and have a family.

Auriela - Not a fan whatsoever. Feels very much like Ash is just there to coddle and rescue her. Does nothing for me at all. AU Notes — Even more of a no; Ash meets her as a young adult when she's 10 or 11; he's damn near a parental figure to her, while co-boarding at Kukui's lab after she runs away from home. During my later USUM arc, Ash is the experienced mentor to her and Selene.

Aloha - Who picked that name. Anyways. It's fine. Shrug emoji AU Notes — Not a thing in my canon, though Ash and Mallow are friends from when he took part in her trial.

Blueangel - It's the one S/M ship I liked. Super cute chemistry! AU Notes — It's canon to my AU. They hit it off during/after Ash participated in her trial. They have similar senses of humor, wanderlust, and strong personalities in general. Ash ultimately introduces her to Misty, who she ends up marrying. Misty likes to joke that he has visitation privileges in their prenuptuals.

Bloombolt - I've seen people make it work! That Ash isn't even really Ash to me anymore, so whatever. AU Notes — Absolutely not. Ash is Chloe's godfather in this canon. They mean a lot to me platonically. He was friends with Prof Cerise growing up, and ended up being asked for that blessing. He's a major source of encouragement and wisdom for Chloe, despite the window of estrangement they go through when she closes herself off.

Pallet - I can definitely see why people ship this, it's good. AU Notes — While there's nothing that really makes this impossible, I don't see it in my canon. They're BFFs, it's not like that.

Coma - I like it. They're just kind of funny together. Disaster gays. AU Notes — I definitely could picture Ash having some feelings for him that he didn't realize or vice versa, but it doesn't end up happening. That window of time that'd set it off never happens. Paul would never care to entertain all the noise and relationships in Ash's life, and they work just fine as friends, anyway.

Z-Ring - I can see why people ship this in canon, it's cute. AU Notes — Nah. They're friendly rivals. Kiawe strikes me as very stern and do-it-by-the-books. He's monogamous with Mallow.

Journeys - Again; that Ash isn't the Ash I know. In isolation, it works. AU Notes — Very similar big no to Chloe; Ash is a mentor to Goh and actually encourages he and Chloe to pursue each other when they both confide in him separately. They're close, platonically.

Alto - Heroes made me a big fan they are so CUTE. AU Notes — They're together. They reunite some years after Johto, during a time where Ash is pretty down on his luck and could use the company + support. He reciprocates Latias's feelings after spending their short journey together and she joins him for good. She continues to use her human form to blend in alongside him.

Poffle - I really just believe Miette was using Ash to get Serena's goat, but it's an amusing thought anyway. AU Notes — She's something of a package deal with Serena. I think they're funny as a throuple.

[OVERHEARD]: sender reveals that they’re in love with the receiver to a third party, not realizing that the receiver, while out of sight, has just overheard the confession. @empirexsin

Settled upon fresh grass, nimble fingers busied themselves plucking a number of gladiola stems whilst listening to a young boy struggle in orating of a passage from The Phoenician Woman. Carefully selected flowers were for Auriela, his mother and someone she regarded quite fondly. Akin to a sister. As such, Titus could scarcely remember a time when she had not been part of his life and seemed to have only grown increasingly attached as time went on- often seeking her as cover when Auriela grew strict or in hopes of catching even a glimpse of his idol, Commodus. While Auriela had scolded him initially, she easily waved it off. In her eyes his adoration for the Emperor was only natural and was happy to indulge him- even though his attempts had yet to bear fruit.

“Do you love Emperor Commodus?” Titus asked, having long abandoned his readings to join her in the grass.

“Hmm….” Under his curious gaze she feigned as if consumed thought. “Well it depends, doesn’t it?” She offered a shrug.

“What do you mean?” Titus’ furrowed brows reminded her of how he was barely in his ninth year.

“On which love.” Marinette smiled as his nose crinkled in confusion. “I believe there are different kinds of love. Love for our fellow people, such as a random passerby on the street you would help if they fell. Love for our friends, such as those you often spar with. Love of our family- whether blood or not-”

“So like me?” Titus piped up earning a chuckle from her.

“Of course. You and your mother have become my family whether you like it or not.” She gave him a gentle poke in the chest. “There is universal love, such as your admiration for the Emperor. And then there is enduring romantic love where you cherish someone above anyone else.”

“Is that how you feel about the Emperor?” Titus remained unmoved in his quest for information much to her amusement and slight exasperation.

For a moment she was silent, reveling in the sun’s warmth upon her skin, watching Titus sit amongst a backdrop of flora of her own choosing. of her own choosing. A private oasis within stone walls so graciously provided where she could shed airs of decorum. Words slipped off her tongue with ease, the time of day easing paranoia of potential listeners. “Yes, but it must remain our secret.”

“Why?” Titus appeared skeptical, unsure if she was playing a trick.

A knowing smile graced her features. “When you love someone romantically you should only share it with the one you love and even then, only when you are absolutely certain they feel the same- or if you have nothing to lose.” Holding out her index finger she waited for him to link his with hers. “You can tell no one. Not even your mother. Understand?” Relief washed over like a gentle tide when he squeezed her hand, sealing their promise.

“When I’m older, I’m going to marry someone like you.” Titus spoke as though it were a declaration.

A burst of melodic laughter escaped in a fit of titters. “What, my dear child, makes you say that?” Handing him his mother’s flowers she tried her best to regain composure.

Titus shrugged. “Mother and Uncle Caius say you're the model wife for a general and one day I will be a Praetorian Guard.”

Hi Auriela! What's the Kidnapped sequel you were talking about a little bit ago? I am v. intrigued.

It's called Catriona and was published ten full years after Kidnapped!. If there's interest, I'll probably do it as a Substack after Kidnapped! finishes, but it's also in Project Gutenberg and the usual places. It's even more loosely constructed than Kidnapped! but does address some of the dangling plot threads. And there are female characters! One that's a love interest and also one that isn't!

“It’s me. It’s Lorelai.”

I hung up the phone as soon as she said her name. It felt as though ice water had completely taken over my veins. I thought maybe even my heart stopped for a beat as the phone fell from my hand and clattered to the ground. It took me a few moments to gather myself before immediately calling the North Carolina number back but it went straight to voicemail. Knowing what I know about my daughter’s mother, my reaction had probably scared her off. The part of me that cared for me hoped it was for good but the greater part of me, the one who wanted the best for my daughter, hoped for the opposite. My thumbs hovered over an empty text to the number for what felt like an eternity. What the fuck was I supposed to say? Sorry about hanging up…I erased the words. I wasn’t sorry, fuck that. I had nothing to be sorry for. What do you want?...I erased those, too. If Lorelai was reaching out to me there was only one thing we had in common. Auriela. Finally, I settled on a message.

If you want to talk, it’s going to have to be face to face. I live in the city now.

some of the characters I made in the Skyrim Nolvus Ascension mod

Auriela. altmer dual wielding spellblade. first character I realized I could modify with the new body slider. as such I gave her a Pixar mom body, obviously. and like giga tall. like her forehead touches the doorframe tall. like I have to sneak in order to fit thru some places tall lmao.

also I gave her glowing freckles

this dude was made using the Sarpa - Beyond Skyrim: Argonia mod. for those that don't know, Argonians also have different subspecies like the Khajiit. bird-like Argonians are called Sarpa (they're an ESO creation, they never existed before that). I think this is a fan interpretation of how they'd look like and I think it's super cool. His name is Steals-Your-Spoons. fore roleplay purposes I am obligated to steal any spoon I come across. I won't be actively looking for them but I will have a drawer in one of my player homes that's just crammed with spoons because this name decided to come to me while showering lol. in combat, he's gonna be a frontline archer that uses summons and followers to tank instead of being a stealth archer because we've all played that style to death. this mod actually added an acrobatic archer playstyle that's really cool. you know that backflip scatter arrow move you can do in Dragon Age: Inquisition? yea that's possible here with this mod

Kanaheda the bosmer. initially I planned on making her a stealth mage since the mod's new perk system allows for a stealth mage playstyle by giving magic attacks sneak damage......but then while messing with the CC I realized I could give her glowing body tattoos and then the plan changed. she's now a naked brawler. she literally just runs in there shrieking beating people into paste with her fists. cuz I wanna see the tats lol. this is supported cuz this mod brings back the Unarmored skill from Morrowind and the Hand-to-Hand skill from Daggerfall/Morrowind/Oblivion.

Titania the breton. based her on my favorite paladin from the Fire Emblem series: Titania from Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn

while in the overworld, I'll ride around on the horse and swing my axe around to replicate the FE cavalier playstyle. obv in dungeons and stuff I'll have to stick to being on foot but that's fine cuz I love the new battleaxe animations in this mod. very meaty

Zenandrayda the dunmer. initially made her to be the stealth archer but since the new combat mechanics are more similar to Elden Ring I just decided to be a weapon + shield knight sort of character with her. 100% because I found this purple shield lmao. she also sprinkles in some illusion magic before fights.

oh and this mod adds bladestaffs to the game. they literally have the same moveset as staves do in Dragon Age 2/Inquisition

Zen-Ma will be a pure mage most likely. her armor is the Ancient Argonian Armor made by 4thUnknown. I fell in love with this armor the moment I saw it. massive Twilight Princess Fused Shadow vibes + I love that Argonians get some love cuz they're probably my favorite race in the series

it doesn't come across in screenshots but the lights glow in and out (just like the Fused Shadow lol)

Zenaida the redguard. might go back in the CC and change her body tattoos. the armor below is 4thUnknown's Mythic Dawn Armor.

I also made 2 Khajiit, a male Bosmer, and an Imperial lady but I don't have any screenshots of them. the character creator is insane so I'm probably gonna make like 20 more characters. the CC even has a sculptor feature so if you have the patience you can literally mold your character however you want.

#I highly recommend getting Nolvus Ascension if your rig is from like 2018+#my parts were good yet affordable back in 2019 and it runs smoothly #granted I have to use the Redux version not the Ultra version but that's fine it still looks way better than vanilla #Youtube

This fic will be about me venting on this exact day of when Danny ACCIDENTALLY ALMOST hurt Auriela and Florence BUT when in reality it was Danny’s shadow Daniel! I’m here a year later to break the ice! And finally give my baby justice! >:) I hope you guys enjoy! :D

I’m not a professional at these but imma try my best lol! If ya see any English mistakes just in case remember I speak French and this English typing/spelling be hard xD

Not My Fault

Danny was walking down the halls… that day finally came around…. Funny… last year he remembers all the pain getting beaten up and even punished for something he didn’t mean to do. Almost killing the twins… he didn’t mean it he swear he didn’t he was so sad… and depressed he was crying alone in the kitchen he remembers how Amelia, Ulle, and others hurt Danny that day how the Music Enforcers spun Danny around upside down on a rope it made Danny very dizzy and he puked that day…

Danny could barely walk that day and the only people who took pity on him that day was Crusher, Pollo, Reginald, RHM, Sven, and Burt. Was it pity? Or was it…. Love…? True love like Crusher felt kissing Danny at night…? Feeling him, rubbing him, feeling his hair, his nice and hot kisses, the deep “connection” they feel nice and close with each other~…. Is that true love? It’s partly love but the TRUE love Danny felt with Crusher apart from physical is the EMOTIONAL help he felt… wow did Crusher help Danny feel warm and calm that night. So relaxed so comforting to Danny’s ears… all Danny really needs is his one and only Crusher. After the shitty day he had and feeling nauseous after the boys spun him and the others hurt him…. It made him feel like a monster… a monster with explosive emotions that he can’t control… why can’t he control these feelings? These emotions? He deserve it! Did he? He almost hurt two babies….

He doesn’t deserve Mary his beautiful baby daughter… all his life he wanted a family but now he looks in the mirror and sees himself as a MONSTER!! He doesn’t have friends, he doesn’t have a family, he’s a piece of shit, he let… HIM …. HIM use him like a TOY, he FOLLOWED HIM, yes he was manipulated but he should have DONE SOMETHING!! Why was he FROZEN and let his negativity drive him to do the wrong thing when all he wants…. Is for people to love him and for him to be happy that he exists….

Why did Randy curse him? All he wanted was to help his dear father…but…. He was now stuck with his evil version of himself… telling him LIES, telling him negative things, …. Danny was addicted… he found himself addicted to sadness… and thinking how his friends, his family, his Toppat family, his husband would maul him, cut him, HURT HIM, kill him, humiliate him over and over and over and over and OVER

….and over… and over….. and over…. And over…. Why won’t it stop? Why won’t these thoughts go away?…. What’s wrong with my brain?…. Why am I like this?….. why do I exist? If all I do … and all I think and hear are ways…. The people around me… wanna…. Kill me? I don’t deserve anything at all… I just want my breathing to…. Suddenly….stop….

“You deserve good things dear…” Danny opened his eyes in shocked as he was on the floor crying in the kitchen “A-Amore? O-Oh b-b-but how—?” Crusher kissed and picked up Danny “Dear, you were hiccuping and crying … And you were talking a bit hehe…”

“…..” Danny showed hidden eyes. Crusher frowned “Dear I know today was … you know… the day Daniel made you do that… I knew you’d be upset… so we wanted to show you something…”

“…we?” Said Danny as Crusher walked out the kitchen to see all his closest friends there all coming in to hug Danny at the same time as Crusher carried Danny still.

Reginald giggled “Nyeh hello dear! Danny’s eyes widen “R-Reggie?? Jeremy? Svensson, Bertram, Picoletto? What’s happening?? *he tears up* Aahhhh I-I-I don’t deserve t-t-this! Whatever it issss! *hic*—.”

Crusher gave many kisses to Danny’s cheek to calm him down. “It’s ok pai!” Said Pollo “We are here to support you in your apology! Even though we know it wasn’t you really who wanted to hurt the twins.”

“Ja! Burt saw it all in the cameras” said Sven as Burt added “You were… REALLY twitchy before you entered the room to harm the babies…”

“You guys would really support me?” Danny shivered “ I don’t d-deserve it-! *hic* I d-d-don’t-!”

“Yes you do Dan…” said Accordion along with Violin holding the twins “ We know it was not your fault now… Burt showed us the footage…. We shouldn’t have been so… extreme—.”

Danny then interrupts crying“ NO! IM HAPPY YOU HURT ME! IM BAD IM HORRIBLE-! *HIC* I’M—!!”

Violin then said “ A human with emotions….”

Those words many Danny cry in his hands as Pollo RUSHED to his father and Crusher hugged his hubby tightly. “Give them the gift Dan” RHM smiled as Danny gaged the twins bagels. “I made them *hic* myself-! Please f-f-forg-give m-me-! *hic*

The twins jumped onto Danny’s lap as the Italian man was so overwhelmed “I’m sorry! I’m s-so sorry! How can anybody or ANYONE so perfect like you guys can …..

I honestly didn’t know whether I should make Aurelia and Kiriko friends or foes. I mean I honestly like Kiriko since she’s all for Justice and everything but since Aurelia does love Ainosuke, I think it’s sad to say that they won’t really like each other all that much. Kiriko wants to take Ainosuke down and put him in jail and I would like to think that Auriela would do everything in her power to keep that from happening. She doesn’t approve of Ainosuke corruption in his political career so she’ll make sure to convince him to change his ways as soon as possible. So needless to say, they’re both two women fighting for what they want with Ainosuke and I think he secretly likes it😂

I used this guided hypnosis while laying down comfortably but u don't know if I was asleep or actually woke up in the void😭. I remember feeling really peaceful mental state for a bit but after that, I don't remember. The thing is I woke up the second this audio ended but remember listening more than half of it. I've never tapped into void so I don't know if that was void or just me sleeping please help😭😭

Hi lovely! I think if you don't remember it, it was probably just falling asleep 😭 but I'm glad you had a nice sleep at least (💀)

In my experience I find it really hard to stay awake for the void, so I find little ways to keep my mind awake like a) 'sleeping' upright, b) twitching my body when I feel myself slipping and c) focusing on my breath instead of my mind. It's much harder when I need sleep tho.
