Honestly, one of the best series I’ve read in a while, absolutely love @atherix ‘s Midnight :D

Anyway, fun little Coven design because I needed some sort of concrete design to base any future works off of

My hands cramped, i got sick on the last fucking day, couldnt draw for 2 days and all i had left was the coloring of the wings

I love this dress and this design so much. But its fucking cursed

Im very tired and will probably passout in like an hour, but its finished and im in love

Tomato mumbo supremecy, i love him sonmuch. Mumbo may nit approve going out in the dress but hes to amazing to not let grian

Mumbo loves seeing them dress up as long as no one looks because hes my little possesive wet cat and inlove him so much for it

Scar on the other hand, looks grian up and down and just goes, hot, but in that like, ya know kinda voice. You know the one, im so good at explaining things

Next might be mumbo. Or im gonna throw tubbo into like, not a dress but waist cape kinda thing, idk youll see,very gender outfit right there that im thunking up for our little guy

ALSO DOODLES, i was simply done with the sketch and didnt have my pencils while being bored in class so i drew the backmof the dress and then floating heads of everyone

Face (2/3): Midnight Scar

Back from a little trip! Midnight Scar couldn't wait, Characters of Midnight by @atherix.

Scar was a little difficult to settle on the design, after all he is pretty and I tried to capture what's good looking but kind of in a Fae way. Didn't put any jewellery, that's for another day. The hair is my favorite part, very Lucius. Also, I didn't draw any uper down body scars, I was too lazy.

Again, this isn't 100% accurate. This is a design of how I imagine them.

Decided to draw tonight and I am so sorry I'm bad at people/figures/anatomy but I had this in my head sooo I wanted to draw it but my tablet is charging so here, have a traditional doodle-sketch of Midnight!Scar stuck in the Summer Palace <3

don't mind the perspective issues and stuff it's 1 AM and fixing mistakes in traditional sketches is hard I'll fix them when/if I digitize it

our d&d group signed a contract with a devil and the punishment for breaking it is everyone will get horns (except the tiefling who will lose his). Probably won't happen as the terms are actually something the party WANTS to carry out, but I was curious about what the party would look like with horns so I drew it

I just finished this, I haven't done much digital art so I don't know how to use all the tools yet but I did another thing.

🎢 Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

this is a cheap answer i know but ALL OF THEM??? or like. 70% of them, considering i had a short "writing challenges phase"

I havent written that much in general. With my first fic "Sam and Ponk flirt their way through self imposed exile " i was just trying to understand ponk's character more, really exploring his voice while imagining what recovery could look like. I wrote it in the summer between my BA and my MA, so i was kinda lost for what to do with my time, since i didnt really have time to get a job. I experienced people actually enjoying my writing and ??? a tiktoker i followed even recommended it to people? that was super wild

with "Local Las Nevada Slime Feels Greener than Usual Today, Will He Survive the Day? " i just... it was me finally going "okay, i know this ship is super small, maybe a little unporpular and hated, but goddamn it will i write something for them bc i LOVE THEM" and then being surprised that people actually liked it, again. i was really surprised and that set me up for my big quackcicle fic Long Night  was written after i saw this beautiful little art of sam and ponk. i wrote something that i hoped captured all the little lonely feelings the art summoned in me, and then took a leap of faith and told pils that hey, i wrote a fic for your art, sorry if thats cringe. and pils... drew me art . it still makes me want to cry lmao. that was the first time i have ever gotten art for my fics A Square Peg in the Round Hole of their Heart was my biggest hit i think is safe to say. to receive so many comments per chapter really blew me away :D I hope its not weird or self aggrandizing, but i get a big ol grin when quackcicle fans recognize my username. This fic became a little difficult for me to write, i learned a bit about my style with it, and although i kinda disliked the ending a bit in retrospect, i love this fic overall :) (plus got to meet some cool peeps!)

skipping ahead, Grian's Involuntary Holiday at Skullcrusher Mountain is defintely my most impactful fic to me personally because i made a good group of friends from it (belle stitchthesewords and aci atherix, to name a few). this fic has been a challenge similar to Square Peg, but its a good challenge. Ive also been less scared to take breaks and really take a moment to figure out how i want to end it, something i learned from my previous big fic. i completely didnt expect people to really like it (actually, if you look at the first few chapters, i got so few comments that i almost gave up lmao). Ive been exploring having an overarching plot, small little plot twists, and writing unreliable narrators. its been a fun and wild ride this got really long and a little off topic im so sorry. thank you for the ask though, friend!!!

The AU here is an AU where Scar and Mumbo are both elves, with Scar being a wood elf and Mumbo being a dark elf who have been married for like a century before Grian stumbles across them while running away from his cult flock😌

Here you have it, the first design of Characters of Midnight by @atherix and more are on the way.

I did play a little with the design, this isn't 100% accurate. This is a design of how I imagine them. So that's why I didn't draw Grian with feathers under the eye or ears, I just can't remember in any point where they mention them. But if someone has is please sent it. I may change the drawing, but I'll post it.

Used to make Characters design of books all the time, so now that I have time and inspiration, I'm doing it with the difference that now I'm posting it.
