Letzte Woche habe ich mir einen kleinen Ausflug durch unser kleines Sonnensystem genehmigt (für einen größeren Ausflug habe ich momentan zu wenig Zeit).

Mit dem neuen Raumgleitflitzer EGO3000 war das eine recht komfortable Sache. (Und das Ding ist schnell! Eine Astronomische Einheit (1 AE) legt er in weniger als 10 Sekunden zurück. Dank der neuen AntiGrav-Funktion spürt man so gut wie nichts davon, feine Sache).

Da Sol1 (also unsere Sonne) gerade wieder viel Protuberanzen hatte, entschied ich mich in Richtung Pluto abzubiegen. Der hing jedoch wie üblich etwas trostlos in seiner Umlaufbahn herum, und ich verspürte wenig Lust zu einem Spaziergang auf ihm. Kälte und Nebel kann man ja überall haben...

Mit gedrosselter Geschwindigkeit ging es darum weiter, mein neues Ziel war der Kuiper-Gürtel, von dem man ja noch lange nicht alles weiß, weil unsere Star-Astronomen natürlich lieber irgendeine Supernova untersuchen, als einen Haufen kalter Steine. Somit gilt dieses Gebiet als nahezu unerforscht, ganz ähnlich wie unsere Meere auf der Erde.

Jedenfalls gondelte ich gemütlich am Rand des Kuiper-Gürtels entlang, stellte den Antrieb des Gleiters ab, bremste mich auf Rotationsgeschwindigkeit der "Geröllhalde" (wie ich sie nenne) ab und ließ mich treiben.

Un was, glaubt ihr, bekam ich nach kurzer Zeit zu sehen?

Leider weiß ich es selber nicht, auch eine Schnellabfrage durch den Bordcomputer brachte keine Erkenntnis. Somit kann ich euch nur ein Foto zeigen, welches die Bordkamera selbsttätig aufgenommen hat (wer mehr dazu weiß oder Informationen hat, um was es sich handelt, kontaktiere mich bitte):

Last week I took a little excursion through our small solar system (I don't have enough time for a larger excursion at the moment). With the new space glider EGO3000 it was quite comfortable. (And the thing is fast! It covers an astronomical unit (1 AU) in less than 10 seconds. Thanks to the new AntiGrav function, you hardly feel anything of it, nice thing). Since Sol1 (our sun) just had a lot of prominences again, I decided to turn towards Pluto. However, as usual, it hung around a bit desolately in its orbit, and I felt little desire to walk on it. You can have cold and fog everywhere... So it went on at reduced speed, my new goal was the Kuiper Belt, which we still don't know everything about, because our star astronomers naturally prefer to study any supernova than a heap of cold stones. Thus, this area is considered almost unexplored, much like our oceans on earth. Anyway, I cruised comfortably along the edge of the Kuiper Belt, switched off the glider's drive, slowed down to the rotation speed of the "scree slope" (as I call it) and let myself drift. And what do you think I got to see after a short while? Unfortunately, I don't know myself, even a quick query through the on-board computer didn't bring any knowledge. 6 years old.... I wish I could have done something better than speedpaint. I always want to do better, but the ideas I had would take too much time and contradict my self-imposed break. I'd like to thank everyone who supports my work. The 5th chapter of my Original Webtoon will be finished soon. After that, I'll get back to work on Huntale. I have to admit that this break has given me new ideas and inspiration, and I can't wait.
