The Queen has arrived.
[…] On August 2, The Crown fans caught another early look at Staunton in character. The actress was photographed in costume as Queen Elizabeth, while filming in Macduff, Scotland. Staunton was spotted sitting on a boat made to look like a royal yacht tender, wearing a green and blue printed outfit.
Staunton [was spotted] alongside two other Crown cast members, including actor Andrew Havill, whose role has yet to be announced.
[…]
See photos via link above.
*Actor Andrew Havill appeared in three titles related to King George VI (Queen Elizabeth II’s father): Into the Storm (2009), The King's Speech (2010) and Hyde Park on Hudson (2012). He’s also Lord Lascelles in movie (2019). Also in DA movie, Imelda Staunton is Maud Bagshaw, a lady in waiting to Queen Mary. Queen Mary’s daughter, Princess Mary, married Lord Lascelles (Henry). Kate Philips portrayed the Princess Royal in DA movie. Kate was also Venetia Scott in The Crown season 1 episode 4 ‘Act of God’.
If you remember Tommy Lascelles from season 1 and 2, Tommy was cousin to Henry Lascelles (Lord Lascelles who is mentioned above).
**Both Helena Bonham Carter and Olivia Colman played the Queen Mother: HBC in The King’s Speech, and OC in Hyde Park on Hudson 👑
