so crazy to me to think that i've been obsessed with neopets for 20 years...... this is sabrina, who was probably my first ever oc (or more like self-insert)!! it's so wild to see the one from today right next to the one from 2013. it feels like 2013 was just yesterday!!! 😭😭😭 i always think of myself as being really stagnant/ not improving much since high school, but it's really reassuring to see how much my art really has changed.

Your animal anatomy foundation 100% feels very solid, do you have any books or online sources to recommend to budding artists?

thank youuuu :)))

im gonna be honest... i never really specifically sat down to study drawing animals, or followed any art-oriented books or guides about that or anything. tutorials tend to not be very helpful to me because they rarely deal with gesture and focus more on getting the proportions right, which by itself is only a small part of it. and live drawing classes rarely involve animals...

i think it helps to have an existing, like, sense and confidence when it comes to observation and capturing volume and gesture in general. at the end of the day pretty much everything can be broken down into basic shapes, planes, blobs. actually A Blob is a good starting point to draw pretty much any animal... draw a blob and then put a head and limbs and appendages on it. yknow?

another thing is to just be curious and have an interest in the diversity and minutiae of the animal kingdom. i know it sounds very basic but I Love Animals. there are some real crazy creatures out there. obviously i recommend looking up as many reference pics as you can, not necessarily to copy stuff, but to have a handy guide of where stuff goes. but just looking at pictures honestly isnt quite enough in my opinion... read up on the animal. get a sense of what makes this particular species unique among ones similar to it, how it lives and functions in its habitat... watch a nature docco. watch some footage of weird little shrimp. learn how to tell different species of aeshnidae apart.

also, yeah, youre gonna have to look at and draw some animal skeletons at some point. i dont think you have to like, study the skeleton of every vertebrate you wanna draw, but yknow, its good to have a general knowledge. it really does teach you a lot to draw a horse skeleton and the individual parts in it. ideally of course you would be sitting in front of either the real thing or a 3d model, but sometimes photos and illustrations have to suffice... it's just important that you pay attention to what you're doing.

as for books... well, a relevant point here is that photos arent everything. obviously theyll give you a faithful picture of the living breathing animal, but thats the thing, they wont always let you see the exact shape, all the distinctive details, and so on. so this is where i recommend getting into some old timey illustrated books. yeah youre gonna have to do some treasure hunting... but listen. ive got this awesome book from 1979 for example, which lists pretty much every species of bird that lives in my little corner of the world, along with amazing detailed illustrations. it's so inspiring and informative. it is the kind of stuff i really wanna urge everyone to get into.

do you guys ever listen to a band so much that you end up making fake merch for it?

close ups and commentary under the cut!

about the poster itself: do you guys know how hard it is to make art for a band that hasn’t been active in 13 years? the answer is HARD (yes, i probably could done research and looked for old interviews for inspiration but who has time for that)

—> the icons related to “take a vacation!” are inspired by lyrics from the song “take a vacation!” (haha, did you see what I did there?) specifically, the lines “we’ll leave the waves at the ocean” and “we’ll leave the sand in a suitcase”

—> the Jon Walker and Ryan Ross icons are taken directly from the album cover (it took ten years off my life trying to figure out how to get them on here w/ the color palette—graphic design may be my passion but I never said i was GOOD at it)

—> the heart imagery comes from the fact that the band’s called “the young VEINS”—although it annoys me IMMENSELY that i technically drew more arteries than veins in the icons (my anatomy teacher would be so disappointed, but alas, anatomical accuracy had to be sacrificed to make it. yknow. look nice)

—> i did hand-lettering for all the text except for everything that’s in Helvetica (i did THAT in canva). the art program i use has a basically unusable text tool so I was forced to draw all of it, so I choose to believe that the reason why it doesn’t look. the best. is because of the caffeine shakes

some extra commentary: am I the only one who’s genuinely REALLY bad at listening to music? i don’t really get into bands as much as i just find songs that sound nice—to illustrate the extent of this issue: i did NOT know that Brendon Urie was a part of Panic! At the Disco. I’m not even kidding, I thought the artist who made Death of a Bachelor and the artist who made A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out were completely different and just. didn’t bother to check if I was right.

also, I’m not the type of person to be interested in band lore???? I rarely know the names of band members if even I’ve listened to the band for years (I really couldn’t care less in most situations)

case in point, i did not know who the FUCK Ryan Ross was!!! i knew he was in p!atd but that’s literally about it—before a couple of days ago if you asked to me pick out either Ryan Ross or Jon Walker from a line up I would not be able to get even CLOSE

anyway, my friend/manager is really into band lore, so I basically got a crash-course in all things “early to late 2000s emo band” and subsequently found out about the Young Veins (i was also extremely disappointed when I found out they only had one album and hadn’t been active in over a decade) THEN I realized that decade old, inactive bands don’t usually have merch, so I made my own! “merch” used lightly—i don’t think this is actually fit to sell lol

anyway that’s all k thanks byeee :D!! (and go stream the young veins!!)

1. Introduced as a bland everyman only made exceptional by circumstance, slowly revealed to be the most batshit, suicidally depressed, bisexual maniac in existence. Uses self-sacrifice like a tool and is completely unaware of how beloved he is by the people he keeps pulling into his fold because he is so deeply and utterly convinced that he is fundamentally unlovable. He's like sixty foundational traumas stacked in a trench coat and he's always sixty steps ahead of everyone else and he loves the people he chooses so so dearly and people keep calling him ugly even though he's canonically pretty average and holy shit dude get some therapy please

2. do NOT let the pretty official art fool u. this is the most average 28 year old salaryman going through the absolute most in the apocalypse. Ah you'll be talking about Lucky!!! Yeahhh I love Lucky! What a little scrungly!!!!

Apologies for the old art but this is my first art of Lucky! Aka 10,007. He was Hachi's oldest friend. And despite his very ironic misfortune and almost comedic slip ups he was all Hachi really had, and she was all he had too-

Both having been outcasts as Hachi was deeply unapproachable due to her intimidating nature and Lucky being the equivalent of a black cat walking underneath a ladder.

I made a comic about the two of them you can read right here but basically after the Calamari Inkantation these two... began to feel this draw. This draw to leave.

Lucky always had this little toothpick trinket that he always carried around that he always referred to as his lucky charm (Though he considered Hachi to be his real one) and when he finally shared his idea to leave with Hachi-!

She was scared. She couldn't leave. Not yet- maybe not even ever. What was out there? Could they handle it? She couldn't She couldn't.

So, Lucky offered his trinket. In case he.. yknow.. died-

She refused it though, much to his shock and hurt, but he didn't push and left alone into the darkness- all while Hachi watched.

After a while of solitude, Hachi finally chased after him. Only to fall into the same darkness he did- in a place far deep below the surface- where the deep sea laid.

Hachi's memory of Lucky has never fully recovered but most of it came sprawling back with the memcakes and recovering his trinket post Inner Agent 3. Lucky never is found, there's nothing left to be found, but his spirit remains with her, carried wherever she goes-

IVE BEEN WAITING FOR A CHANCE LIKE THIS

OKAY SO OF COURSE NOT ALL CHARACTERS ARE FULLY DEVELOPED BUT ILL TALK ABOUT THEIR CONCEPTS (And go more into detail if I can )

Here's the main cast! Keep in mind that these designs are also very old and not how they currently how I want them to look, I have even more old concept art so let's go through those first!

Character Concepts -

Originally I only had 7 characters for the fangan, based on the 7 deadly sins.

Left to right is, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, Lust, Greed, Pride, Sloth

But of course I needed more characters because this would be like the shortest fangan known to man. Luckily my friend knows ALOT about the deadly sins and even told me about old additional sins so I can add more characters and learn more in depth about each sin.

I CANT POST ANY MORE PHOTOS SO UM PLEASE ASK AGAIN CAUSE IM NOT EVEN CLOSE TO FINISHED

Anyway,

You can see the additional sins in the first pic. I have notes for the hero just like the avarice girl but i dont have space and it probably needs to be updated

Fangan Concept -

I started out the with the idea of making the fangan be more on the... fantasy side?

Lemme explain the whole idea,

All 11 Ultimate Talents are on the verge of death, by some miracle, Angels from above have given them chance to live.

Well the thing is that this is a fanganronpa AHAHHAHAHAH so yknow

All 11 would have to kill, try to get away with it (they won't) , get executed , repeat process until only one is left alive.

I named this fangan, DR: Miracle Event

Right now I'm unsure if I should keep that as the main theme for the fangan because, can you even call it that at this point?

Is it a good idea and should I stick with it? What the hell do I name my fangan??

AYYYYYY!! Alright, let's get this started! Big art dump!

These 3, names are created out of letters already in their og names, and no this pic is not up to the correct size. (I think)

From left to right,

Silow- Shadow and Silver (2nd shortest, 3'6 ft)

They had the hardest design changes in color and overall vibes. But they used to be based off of rusting (from the red stripes from Shadow) metal (from Silver's- yknow silver). But that didn't work out how I wanted it to :(

Mutation- They have two mouths; it was better than the other idea that I had.

Personality- Think of a kid who loves the people they know, but isn't open to outsiders even looking at them. While still being soft-spoken and overthinks things 24/7/12/365.

Sivni- Silver and Sonic (2nd tallest, 4')

I had the easiest time designing and choosing colors for them. They're based off of clouds by just a little.

Mutation- Eyes and ears are a little funky on purpose.

Personality- Very 'air-headed', but loves playing games. Aka, Pov: ADHD if it was a person.

Sadhno- Sonic and Shadow (shortest, 3'1 ft (rip))

They are the first one I made, and have been through a lot of different changes. But they are black-light themed now.

Mutation- "Doubled eye'd", they used to have four arms, four ears, and three eyes but I decided to change/swap it out with the 'All three' fusion.

Personality- Nice and sweet with new people but is a little hot-headed when it comes to people touching their stuff.

Lavindir- Sonic, Shadow, Silver (Tallest, nearly 5'3 ft)

Add blue, red, and white together? Yeah, that's purple. And what's a fitting name for it that you can also spell out with their names? Lavender!

Gave them brown boots and gloves so that their shoes won't become off-putting colors that I don't like. I adore the colors I made for the three eyes tho.

Mutations- Six arms, a long bent tail, three eyes, and four ears.

Personality- Responsible adult who can get distracted easily.

Mainly has Shadows smarts, Silvers determination, and Sonics attachment issues. /j

Silow used to be Silowd, but you'll be suprized what their names actually used to be.

You can see the old 'rustic' idea I had for Silow too. And Sivni used to have the double ear thing for only this drawing.

With all of their old names and designs,

Like nearly the beta of Betas if I didn't include the old first drawings of Sadhno. Apparently, they're named Andso in this drawing; I do like the Nilvor and Verow names but I wanted to stick with the S starts in all of the names besides Lavindir.

This was a sketch I made right after to figure out their personalities a lot more, but I don't think Sadhno's and Lavindir's work out as well as I wanted them to.

Here's one of the beginning drawings of Sadhno, needed something to draw for dramatic lighting and now there it was.

Here's another dermatic lighting one, one of the first designs of Sadhno too.

Their gloves and shoes are horrifying.

Thoughtless: Part I

Story: Seonghwa x Reader

Part Content: sfw, mellow

Summary: You and Seonghwa have been friends since you were young children. Your parents were the wealthy CEO’s and Executives of Entertainment Agencies in Seoul and you had become quick friends in the rather lonely industry world. Only becoming closer as you got older. But one trip to the Maldives changed everything for you and just when you were finally able to move on from the past, everything comes back to haunt you, along with some new developments you never would have imagined…

Branches danced in the wind with the slow breeze. The pastel and bright colors of the flowers attracted the attention of butterflies and a few bees here and there. The large park was a serene place in the city, built around a large homemade pond in Seoul. It was one of the more peaceful places that almost had you able to forget all of the bustling city life that was only minutes away.

“So I heard you’re going on a trip with this guy?”

“Hm? Oh- Yeah it’s just for some poster shots in the Maldives while we’re on vacation.”

You and your friend had been gazing up at a billboard on the side of one of the large building that could be seen from the bench where you two sat. It was a boy, about 17 years olds, same as you and your friend. He had been coming up in the modeling world. Your parents had become close with his lately and were planning to make some kind of financial deal or the other. You didn’t really care to get involved in all the details of their work when it came to things like that. But you did have to admit- Going to meet a currently popular model of the same age that was being promoted on one of your parents’ building felt like a pretty good win.

“Kang Yeosang, huh…”

You look to your friend and give him a certain smile. “What’s the matter, Seonghwa? Afraid of some competition?”

Seonghwa gave a somewhat sheepish smile and shook his head. “I’m not really interested in all that I told you already.”

“Right, right- You wanna pursue your own thing.” You nodded, taking your attention back up to the billboard. Seonghwa’s attention though was still on you.

“Didn’t YOU say you didn’t want to be a model either?” He counters.

“Well- I like art. I wanna be a model but not like all of this. Not that I wouldn’t mind it but yknow.” You shrug. “Maybe just for fun!”

Seonghwa shakes his head at you. “Modeling for fun? You’re so weird…”

“Well I can’t see it as that serious of a career…I mean- I see so many of the girls I know smiling and having fun with some of their work…I just want something that makes me happy like that yknow? And they don’t even have all these huge gigs like- Well.” You gesture towards the billboard with Yeosang.

“But you’ve been doing small shoots already…And you’re going all the way to the Maldives for one with this guy.” He was obviously stating the obvious, but you really didn’t have intentions of making anything big out of this shoot.

“Ah-!” You held up a finger towards his lips. “I’m going on a VACATION to the Maldives. His parents and my parents want us to do the shoots.” Seonghwa takes your finger from his lips with an awkward smile.

“Whatever you say- Just- Have fun I guess.”

“Aren’t you going? Your family always goes..?” You tilt your head to the side, giving him a more than concerned look. You could tell there was something on his mind. He was never able to hide his emotions well- At least not with you. “Seonghwa-“

“My parents have been fighting a lot lately. Something about the vacation and work. They said there’s too much going on for us to tag along.” His words were obviously wounded, and it was obvious it was more than that with how he refused to look you in the eye. You couldn’t help but frown.

“Well- We can always call! Facetime, I can still ‘take you with me’.” You chuckle and you can see the small smile break through his lips.

Now that you think about it, it had never occurred to you to actually ASK Seonghwa about the trip. Whenever your family made plans like this, it was just so natural that him and his family were included. There wasn’t one time you could think of where you left the whole country and Seonghwa wasn’t with you and your family. He was always there, since you were kids. You were still young now, but since you two had met in elementary, you kind of just- Stuck together.

Your parents had met during a conference and each of you had been brought along to the hotel. Their weren’t very many kids your age, or even kids around at all. So naturally the two of you had been drawn to each other. Your mothers had immediately gotten along and your fathers were businessmen at heart. And you two? Just busy little kids where one was always ready to see the other. Seonghwa was the first and true friend you had made in all the boring and single-child life entertainment industry madness.

“Seonghwa !”

You both look up upon hearing his name to see his father. Standing at their private vehicle, snatching the door open and looking a little more than disgruntled.

“I guess I see what you mean…” You mutter as Seonghwa quickly stands up from the bench, turning to give you a wryly smile.

“I’ll let you know if I hear anything worth telling.”

“Well yeah, you better.” You stand up after him now, going to give him a hug, but his arms are around your waist before you can even place yours around him. “G-Geez!”

“I’m gonna miss you.”

Your arms are hesitant at first, going around his shoulders to hug him back. He hugs you even tighter in that moment and you can’t help but hug him back just as tight as his arms are around you. Honestly , it was one of those bone crushing hugs people exaggerated about, but you weren’t going to give him ammunition to make fun of you.

“Seonghwa, seriously, it’s not like I’m moving to the Maldives. We can call everyday or something, okay?” You began to sway with him for a moment, hearing him mutter something but you couldn’t quite make it out.

The sudden sound of a shrill horn was the only thing that interrupted the embrace. His arms dropping from around you and yours pulling from around his shoulders. Unfortunately, Seonghwa wasn’t mirroring your vibrant grin, no- He looked completely dejected…Was he- Crying? Or about to?

“Seong-“

“I’ll see you when you get back.”

He says quickly, and he’s swiftly making his way to his family’s vehicle.

And there you stand. Wondering what in the mixed emotions could have been going on in your friends head. All you could do was frown as you watched their vehicle pull away. Unable to see anyone through the tinted windows. Perhaps he was just upset about whatever was going on with his parents. You didn’t like to pry, but you knew eventually he would tell you. He always told you. There was nothing Hwa had ever been able to keep from you.

“Honey! Come on, we need to get ready for our flight in the morning!”

You hear your mother call to you and sigh. Seonghwa really left you with a sour feeling and until he he told you whatever was REALLY going on you were only going to worry.

I'm the guy that does the funny draws (and music (and sometimes edits)).

Some of you have definitely heard that line way too many times before. Or some of you probably just know me as the Simple Yet Stupid guy. If you haven't seen me before, congratulations! You've successfully met "that guy" (me) for the first time!

This is my tumblr. I reblog stuff I think is neat and post art/music/stuff I like once every [unspecified time frame]. I dipped (sort of) from Twitter (ah, sorry一ECKS [X] as it's called now) like a year or two ago because some guy had too much fun ruining it. Now I'm here more often!

my entire body has unionized against me and sold me out to both OSHA and the IRS, but yknow what? I got a whole series of really cool art I am very proud of. So who’s the real winner here. That’s right. It’s ME.

Wanted to end everything off with a bang and I can NOT pass up the opportunity to draw a really cool dragon, so here’s the final boss fight of my (at least first) SaTBK au storyline. Against the Metal Overlord himself. One day I think I do want to do some in-between lore illustrations and finish out the visual story I was going for during this prompt week, but... thats a thing for future X to decide. Present X simply wishes to bask in these pretty pictures.

Lore below the cut so it can be seperate from the artist commentary

During Arthur’s party’s search for Atlas and a way to harness it’s powers to see if it could cure those corrupted by what’s known as the Phantom Ruby, Infinite had personally taken it upon himself to help the cursed Robotnik soldiers regain their old selves, horrified that their leader would not only kill his most loyal men, but rip them of everything that made them.. well. Them. While he fell mostly on deaf ears, he seemed to have the most reach with Prince Ferris.

Over the course of two groups’ bonds, Ferris grew increasingly angry with his father and, with the Jackal’s help, plotted revenge.

After finding Atlas, King Arthur and his adventuring crew make haste back towards Camelot, all the while allowing Francesca to test the sword’s properties on a recently captured Robotnik soldier, Termina the Goat (not pictured but one day I’ll have to draw her). Fortunately, Francesca’s studies have varying degrees of success in clearing the Robotnik Curse out of those it’s afflicted for a time.

Unfortunately, however, the adventuring party seemed to be late to save Camelot and the Robotnik Empire from harm. Finding the Camelot knights fighting a seemingly futile battle against the newly transformed, draconic body of Ferris.

Unwilling to let the Dracolich claim the lives of more of his men, Arthur rides into battle armed with Atlas. Francesca urges Exxie to follow, giving her as much of the elixir to ward off the Robotnik curse as she can muster. While Infinite was more than happy to sit back and let his new companion snuff out the lives of any knight dared cross the prince, the bandit interferes with his own attack on the kingdoms to try and keep the remains of the Jackal squad safe from the havok he’s helped to create.

And thus the climactic battle against the wrathful prince begins.

so im thinking up a few options for myself:

local art market. it happens every second saturday downtown which is a great frequency i think. however i dont know the type of people attending so i dont know if my merch will sell well or at all, and i dont know if they even allow the type of stuff i sell. so this is an iffy one

finding book authors who need illustrations done. i can def do a childrens book illustration if i needed to but id like to find something within my current art style if possible. i'll have to look around and try and find places where ppl are looking for my type of work

sell at conventions. this one's a little tricky bc 1) i have to invest in my stock which is at LEAST $300 for everything i need, 2) im not guaranteed to get on the list of vendors, and 3) these happen very infrequently and i dont know if i can rely on this for steady income

self publish comics. i had thought of this before and i dont think im Currently fit for doing it bc i tend to burn out soooo easily (thats likely a problem with my workflow honestly. its fixable surely) but im hopefully about to get adderall prescribed to me so maybe it'll work out after all lol. unfortunately this isnt an overnight project either though, and i do need to make money Right Now

get into making either live2d vtuber models or 3d models for both vrchat and/or vtubers. i know i know, i cant charge 8k for my first models, but i can at least make a few hundred on a single model. this would be a new skill to learn but its totally possible. theres tutorials and i also vaguely know how to use blender so i can at least try this. i do have fun doing this stuff anyway. im just a lil worried about the level of detail that goes into live2d models, im not super used to detailed designs just yet but its something ive been wanting to put more time and work into, so..

bite the bullet and start putting more work into social media presence and advertising my commissions. i complain about how rough commission work is all the time yes. but genuinely i do enjoy doing commissions for a living. the ONLY reason i complain is because of the inconsistent/low income, and the only reason for That is because i dont have a huge following to the point of where my slots sell out regularly. im no sakimichan. but if i just put in a little more time and work into building a social media presence im sure things will look up in that regard. i just have to fuckin..do it

so ya. these all have pros and cons and im weighing them desperately LOL. if im being honest? im leaning towards three in particular: the vtuber models, building a better social media presence to up my commission demand, and selling at conventions. i can definitely do all three of course, but i have to figure out how to balance everything while learning to do the new things and get good at them. i have no idea how to wrangle social media. ive tried so many things and i keep falling out of it so so easily, its very hard. but fuck dude if 15 year olds on youtube can have 100k subscribers then what the hell am i doing LOL yknow?

ok so . im outing myself to the world but thats fine this is too funny to not share

so. ive run a roleplay blog for a few years. i keep it separate from my main, yknow, its just a side hobby and ive been doing it since i was like, 12. its cringe but hey yknow at least im not 30 and writing ya novels

now its pretty common for rp blogs these days to have rules. right? you dont want to just bag any weirdo on this website, and as you can imagine bnha roleplayers are batshit crazy (see: conversion therapy todoroki) so mine are pretty strict and detailed. because ive been doing it long enough to be exposed to what counts as carbon monoxide poison from a screen. one of those rules is "if youre mutuals with people who write porn of the kids even aged up im blocking you we're keeping a ten foot pole on this". because as a 20 year old man i have a healthy disinterest in seeing paragraphs of teenagers fucking

so the dash is astir with talk of a guy writing age up bakugou porn and im like ok whatever. make a post bitching about it . mutual likes those posts but then the mutual is turning around and being buddy buddy with this guy so i dm the mutual like hey whats going on here . mutual is like "well why dont you talk it out with him hes not as mean as he seems i prommy" and im like sure whatever i can have civil conversation and if it ends with One Less Person writing weirdo porn then i might be able to get into heaven

so i dm him and he loses his fucking mind. it lasted all of 10 minutes because he was sending paragraphs like this and i was too tired to give a shit

so the guys clearly bothered by the idea that people might possibly talk about him without his permission and im a little miffed after being misgendered (which hed do again later) so i just post our dms. swing first and hey batter batter lets play ball i dont give a shit this is bnha roleplay

once again: loses his damn mind. he makes a psa post about me talking about how im just some pussy infant and hes too HARD for me and shit and also they do bakudeku muffin roleplay in the comments of that post which is fucking insane

anyway. at one point while joking about the whole thing i called him a "wannabe bakugou kinnie" as a joke and apparently he felt a very serious need to address this

and im like holllllllllllllly fucking shit

you may have noticed that his posts are incredibly over-formatted. this goes for everything he does he is pouring a LOT of time and energy into typing his 9 paragraphs about how im an insane bitch or whatever. (if theres literally one thing i can give him credit on its that his graphic editing skills are kinda good. i will be honest) his rules document is also just as insane and features gems such as:

after a certain point i get dmd an old copy of a 130+ page callout he had a year prior and im like WHAT and it included his yugioh rp blog career and various allegations like having been involved in gang violence, doxxing, etc. also a picture of the hickies he bragged about leaving on his uwu pink glitter gf which looked more like he was trying to go for the killing bite but hey. yknow. apparently im a toddler idk how that works

along in this we also find his twitch account, which was under the name rxgelord, and it featured edited graphics of his real life face with bakugou. he posts selfies a lot too i wont share them even if theyre public but he has knuckle tats and a goatee and uses the greyscale filter. if this gives you an idea. he also had 5 twitch followers and detailed his desire to be a rapper/dj and im like holllllly fucking shit this guy cant be a real person. holy fuck.

anyways. skipping a lot of unnecessary bullshit and paragraphs of text with gifs from 2013 attached hes constantly going on about how we wont just "say it to his face" which i think is hilarious bc i was, the entire time. but im like ok fine you want me so bad

so i send him this. he posts about how "he won when he got all might" (for some reason hes calling my ex mutual by the character name. i dont know) and then hasnt posted in 4 days. he deleted his twitch. im a little worried bakugou. dont say that. may have actually chased this man off the internet . to go have real life sex with his real life girlfriend so he isnt so mad

anyway we ended up turning one of his posts into an eminem uberduck

im honestly probably forgetting something this was so much and it was so fucking funny and honestly im glad to have been there

Ehhh, the relationship with me and how i feel about about HH is a long one, considering ive been following viv since her deviantart days lol. well i wasn't ever that much of a fan, mostly cuz ive never been too into that stretchy cartoonish artstyle she used to use for her comic "Zoophobia" buuuuut i had to hand it to her- she def managed to accomplish something a lot of us wish we could do with our world buildings huh? so ill give her that much lmao. but I'm gonna say that i haven't watched the show YET.

tho as far as controversies surrounding her uh... religion imagery goes- even as someone whos been brought up as a religious muslim- i don't really care tbh. you need to have a certain level of capacity for satire like this and if you don't, its really not for you //shrug. mostly to say you need to really know your own rights and wrongs to not be affected by a cartoon made by people who have their own beliefs yknow?

but as far as the story has gone so far in Helluva boss im not really.... ANYWAY- its fiction, and i don't have to like EVERY aspect of it, i don't think the writing is GREAT i don't think its AWFUL- currently I'm in a very big MEH area towards it lmao-

but i can say for certain that i absolutely LOVE the songs and adore them- especially thankful of having found one of my favorite artists eVER through HH- "SILVA HOUND"- there is almost no work that he has put up that i don't go crazy over- when the beat drops i feel my soul ascend yall don't understand 😭 <33333333

and well finally the art i guess? i like it, not bad, kinda tired seeing so many people trying to imitate it to a tee- i agree that imitation is the highest form of flattery lmao but it gets old when everyone's trying to be similar yknow? but character-design-wise, again, i feel like the character designs are amazing? but.... misplaced i guess.... we all know that these characters are vivzies old ocs, but lore wise- none of the characters look like what they are supposed to be... like we all know the issue with Beelzebub, sigh, that was weird for my eyes to behold as someone who remembers queen bee from zoophobia- and im not even sure if Vaggie is a moth anymore considering her uh... new backstory??? was she even a human at some point anymore? is Adam a human? are half of the heaven population wearing masks? why do they look like characters from monsters inc. that got a yassified by James Charles?? im... so confused lmao. why do angels have horns and hell sinners have wings?? looking at husker- skipping the Alastor controversies- yada yada yada- is Charlie supposed to be a goat when neither of her parents are- yeah okay im tired never mind.

short version: its interesting on the eyes, confusing to the brain XD

overall my final comment is: its fun as long as you don't take it religiously serious ;p
