What is Kaaras thoughts on the Qunaris and their culture? What about his thoughts on Iron Bull; first impression vs when the two started to get to know each other? What about the Trespasser DLC events (if you ever went through it)?
What would Kaaras do differently when looking back after he first began his journey vs now?

Oh boy this is such a loaded question, hahaha. I know i have some HC posts hanging around in my meta tags about how Kaaras sees and interacts with Qunari culture etc, but I couldn't be bothered digging them up, and I know they're questioned and detailed about more specific things, such as his knowledge on the language and his parents upbringing, etc.
So, to say first - Kaaras was brought up in a lot of ignorance when it came to the Qunari people. His parents kept their lives as secret as possible (which in some ways was difficult because they didn't know how to properly integrate with Southerners because they knew nothing of the lands and culture). His mother was better spoken than his father, as she was fluent in Common trade tongue, and taught the Qunari language to converts (so she can speak a multiple number of languages). His father was a Ben-Hassrath who was a re-educator to those that had fled the Qun and been captured.
Their understanding of Southern culture was pretty poor, so Kaaras grew up in mixture of both cultures. Those that surrounded him in the outside world of Ferelden, and those that his parents knew and understood, even if they attempted to leave their previous lives behind.
Kaaras was one of the VERY FEW qunari across the sea (in game canon it's rare for qunari to be in Ferelden, so he didn't really run across many during his childhood), and when he did, they were often aggressive, which made him feel like he was exactly what people thought of them. Kaaras grew up believing that Qunari were seen as evil to Southerners and humans in particular. He grew up expecting them to look at him like he was a savage, and so in turn, he became everything the opposite. He learned perfect common no thanks to his mother, and intermediate Qunlat thanks to his parents who spoke to each other in the language at times (even though they tried to hide it), and when he began to travel alongside Tal'Vashoth who spoke the language.
Because of growing up in Ferelden (who look down upon qunari a fair bit), Kaaras grew to have a lot of internalised racism when it came to his people. He did not expect them to be kind to him, and he did not expect them to accept him as one of their own because he was Vashoth, someone who had never LIVED the Qunari life, and therefore could not understand it. He grew up feeling an outcast to both people. He was not human enough to be a human, despite his growing up in a human world, and he was not Qunari enough because he was Vashoth.
Kaaras has always been a very open minded individual, though, and the more he travelled, the more he wanted to learn and embrace other cultures. This isn't just the Qun, but other cultures too. He loves the idea of learning them. But in part... the Qun scares him (again, because of the fear mongering of others, but also because his parents painted them out to be bad people that he should never go near because he was a mage and they would take him and kill him or condition him). The thought of having his freedoms taken terrifies him, because to Kaaras, freedom means everything. To have his sight stolen, his voice? That's just not acceptable! He thinks it is barbaric and a ways to control the unknown, because they fear the power of their mages. But also because no one should have the right to take those things from anyone.
So as you can imagine when he first ran into Bull and he openly TELLS him that he's a spy for the Qun, he's... caught off guard, and suspicious. He wants to give Bull a chance because he doesn't want to believe that an individual is their entire race, even though that's how the Qun portrays their people. Anyone who was willing to just tell him upfront about being a spy was either very stupid, or very honest, and he chose the latter. That honesty was worth something to Kaaras, but he also invited Bull along because he wanted to LEARN, and Bull was his way of learning his history and his culture, even though Bull would say it's not HIS culture, since he's Vashoth. But he still grew up being a qunari, even if he wasn't Qunari.
Kaaras ends up seeing that there's a lot more than meets the eye when it comes to Bull and the Qun, and the fact that Bull can't even explain it opens his eyes up even more. And well... they end up romancing in my playthrough and they love each other lol. So thankfully, Kaaras reminds Bull that he can make his own choices in life, and he saves his friends over an alliance, which in the end helps Bull remain loyal to him :) Trespasser was an interesting time for him, though made easier with Bull at his side, who was there to help him with anything he didn't understand when it came to the Qun. He's since talked to his mother about her role under the Qun though and has gathered a lot more information, which had helped him also decide who he wants to be in the world (and that simply himself). He found his place in the world when it came to the Inquisition, so losing that does affect him quite a lot.
I don't think he'd do anything differently. Kaaras is very much a do the best you can do and be the best you can be person. There's lives he'd want to save, for certain, like Stroud who was left in the Fade, but he also knows that losing the anchor wasn't a possibility. But all those lives lost? That's what he'd want to do better. And of course, if he could try and convince Solas more of the good in the world, that everyone deserves to be there, that they deserve a chance. If he knew Solas was the villain the whole time, he would have tried harder to convince him of the rights that they can do.
Kaaras has already gone through his "I wish I could turn back time" period to save his father when he was 12. He understands that that's impossible, and that bad things happens, and you need to grow stronger because of them. It's about the future, not the past.

Domaystic day 26!
Prompt: Losing each other in a crowd
Fandom: Dragon Age
Pairing: Solas/Ellana, Solas/Lavellan, Solavallen
Rating: G
Modern day AU
-
Solas trailed along behind Ellana as she investigated the various booths and 'oohed' over the random offerings of the street festival they had accidentally discovered. She didn't know what event they had wandered into, but she was willing to party for whatever cause. It didn't really matter in the end, though, she supposed. They weren't going to kick her out, and she was determined to get into everything she possibly could.
While examining a selection of strange looking candies, a disturbance caught her attention. A densely packed crowd milled around something on the other side of a large tent.
"Hurry!" A man yelled to someone behind him, "They're leaving!"
Curiosity piqued, Ellana left Solas behind as she threaded her way through the crowd. Breaking out into the open, she found herself facing a group of Qunari. One of them turned and rumbled something in Qunlat to the man behind him.
"Uh… Shanedan?" She greeted cautiously. Their heads whipped up, and she would have laughed at their shock if she knew they wouldn't get offended. One of the most important lessons she'd learned from Sera's ex-girlfriend, a Tal'Vashoth called Adaar, was that insulting someone of the Qun was a very bad idea.
A harried looking human pushed his way between two of the Qunari to grab her by the shoulders. "You speak Qunlat?!"
"Not all that great, but I know some basic stuff yeah," she answered, nervously eyeing the Qunari men who were watching the interaction intently. "Why?"
"I don't speak Qunlat. The only people I know who do are considered Tal'Vashoth, and these gentlemen will not speak with them."
"Ah." This sounded like the exact sort of situation she'd rather stay out of, but the guy was practically crying and the Qunari were looking antsy. She sighed. "What do you need from me?"
-
It didn't bother him, at first, when he turned around and found that she had disappeared. Ellana often wandered off to investigate whatever caught her interest. She would then return and regale him with whatever details she thought most interesting. It wasn't until it had passed the fifteen minute mark, and four unanswered phone calls later, that Solas started worrying.
Pulling up a photo of her on his phone, he began asking random passersby if they had seen her. Most of them answered with a no, but a couple dwarves said maybe and pointed him towards the most populated section of the street. Wading through the crowd, getting discouraged by the negative answers he was receiving now, Solas was about to give up and head back towards the car when someone said yes.
"Yeah, I saw that little elf girl. She's parading around with a gaggle of those Oxmen following her around like ducklings," an older man answered. He spat to the side and earned himself a glare from the woman he almost hit. Seemingly oblivious, or else uncaring, he nodded to the right. "They were headed for the bakery, I think."
"The bakery?"
The man shrugged. "Elf girl told the guy bossing her around that Oxmen love cookies."
Solas rubbed the bridge of his nose and thanked the old man, before forcing his way back into the crowd. Everyone seemed to be heading in the same direction, which made his life easier at least. He would have passed right by the bakery if he hadn't crashed into a Qunari Ashaad standing outside.
"Beg pardon," Solas said, quickly stepping away from the man.
The Ashaad's expression didn't change. The only indication Solas had that he had been noticed was a slow blink, before the man turned to a companion, and said something in Qunlat.
Pulling his phone out, Solas brought up the picture of Ellana again and pointed it in their direction. "I need to find her."
The Ashaad didn't respond, but the Karasaad he had been talking to leaned forward to get a better look. He elbowed his companion and nodded towards the bakery.
That was a good enough answer for Solas, who immediately moved around them and headed for the building. He'd only taken a few steps when he was hauled back by his arm.
"Hey!" Ellana's voice yelled. Solas jerked his head around to see her ducking under a Sten's arm.
The Ashaad released his hold, and let Solas go to his girlfriend. He resisted rubbing the sore spot on his arm, and instead focused on Ellana. "What are you doing?"
"Shopping," She hefted the large plastic bag she was holding, "for cupcakes."
"Cupcakes? I-"
"Ebatot tal-eb noms," the Ashaad complained to his companion. They watched as Ellana pulled out a box and held it out for them to see.
"They wanted cake, but I figured cupcakes would be easier," she said with a shrug. She opened the box and wiggled it enticingly.
Four of the Qunari surrounded them. An Ashaad Solas hadn't seen before reached forward and delicately snagged one. His pointed nails dug into it, and he held his other hand underneath to catch the crumbs that started falling.
He was taking his first bite when the Sten grabbed his. Soon all four Qunari were standing in the middle of the street, each one holding a cupcake. They ignored the watchful crowd as they stoically ate their treat.
"Thank goodness!" a human man Solas didn't know exclaimed, tripping over himself to grasp Ellana's shoulder. "I would never have guessed they wanted cake, of all things!"
"Yeah, I guess another Sten visited here once, really liked the cake at this particular bakery, and recommended it to them." She shrugged. "The festival threw them off when they trying to find it."
The Sten, having finished his cupcake, spoke to Ellana then. Solas' understanding of the language was minimal, but the conversation seemed friendly enough. By the time the last cupcake was gone, though, she seemed to be running low on topics to discuss. She looked almost grateful to the human when he relieved her of the box and started talking.
"Do they need anything else? Or can we get them out of here?"
"We will leave," the Sten said. His lips quirked when she started laughing at the look on the human's face.
"You could understand us the whole time?!" He yelled. The crowd surrounding them was split between laughter and outrage at the deceit.
Eye crinkles and slight lip quirks were the only signs that the Qunari were amused. Astonished, Solas noticed that the Ashaad he had initially bumped into had a dimple. Having only recently been involved in this charade, however, Solas found himself chuckling without reservations. Ellana, of course, was still laughing.
The human was not taking the joke as well as they were, however, and seemed to be seriously considering crying. "Why did you let me think that you couldn't understand?"
"The true character of a person is shown in such situations," the Sten answered, smacking Ellana on the back good-naturedly. Her laughter changed to a wheezing cough as the blow knocked all the air from her lungs. She gave him a thumbs up, and he allowed a chuckle to escape him. He nodded at the human. "Your determination to assist us was noted and appreciated. The Arishok will be pleased."
"The Ari- the Arishok?" The human whispered, face going pale. "He sent you?"
"In a way," was the only answer they got.
Though intrigued, Solas was more than ready to leave by the time Ellana managed to disentangle herself from the human.
"Panahedan!" She called over her shoulder as Solas tugged her along after him. "It was nice to meet you! Tell the Arishok Ellana says hi!"

I was doing Iron Bull's personal quest and I realized it is just like…a microcosm of the whole game. Sneaky Spy makes a group of "friends" in order to do his job and accidently develops more feelings than he probably should. And then you have to chose whether he should abandon those feelings and those friendships in order to fulfill his duty. You have to tell him to prioritize his own humanity, or embrace the idea that no attachment is greater than the role he has been given to serve his people.
The Iron Bull jokes that the article at the front of his name makes him sound like a mindless weapon, but Cole tells you that he's worried that the joke is actually true, now. He doesn't want to be Tal'vashoth because he feels like the title will flip some switch that just makes him murder random people or something. He doesn't want to be that.
Which is why his fate in Trespasser is so heartbreaking if you don't save the Chargers. Duty is what made him a mindless weapon. Duty stripped him of his humanity. His ability to let himself truly connect with another living being. And the Din'an Shiral is going to do the same thing to Solas.
If his ending in Trespasser was also a mirror to Solas' fate, he is:
A) Almost certainly going to die if you didn't even try to be his friend
B) Probably going to be completely freaking terrifying, because fighting Bull was HARD
C) Might have a chance to get saved by a friendly/romanced Inquisitor!!!! (please please please)

Loyalties (Fic)
"When we first met with the Chargers, you seemed to approve of the Inquisitor."
Bull looked over at Cassandra; she had at least done him the courtesy of not standing in his blind spot when she started talking. Instead, she approached and found a chair, so Bull waited until she was settled in the little Skyhold tavern with a pint before saying, "Well, she wasn't the Inquisitor then. But yeah, she seemed like a pretty good boss."
Cassandra raised an eyebrow at him. "And have you revised that opinion since she was named Inquisitor?"
Bull met Cassandra's look. "You trying to sound out her comrades in case of trouble? And I bet  you started with me because of that whole thing with going tal'vashoth."
After giving Bull a wary look, she sighed and shook her head, more than a little rueful. Of course the ben'hassrath would pick up on that kind of body language cue. "You cannot blame me for being concerned, Bull. The Inquisition is in its infancy, and loyalties are a good thing to sound out at times like these."
"And if you sound me out now," Bull told Cassandra with a laugh, "you can get my help sounding out the others. Right. Knew I liked you for a reason."
Cassandra glared at him. "A suspicious person would think you were evading the question, Bull."
The laughter died down to chuckles as Bull shook his head to dismiss Cassandra's concerns. "Nah, nah; just making sure we've got all the cards on the table before I start off. Look," he went on, going a bit serious. "You know and I know that the boss is a little ... think-outside-the-box-y."
"That is ... a diplomatic way of putting it," said Cassandra, who was generally inclined to go with 'absolutely insane'.
"Thing is, that makes her dangerous ... to her enemies, I mean," he added, grinning at Cassandra's shocked and angry expression. Bull had what he was looking for: reckless and out-there or not, the Inquisitor had Cassandra's loyalty in spades. "She earns loyalty and trust by whatever means necessary ... for the experience, if nothing else. And that experience lets her think around corners, come at an enemy in ways they wouldn't expect." He shrugged. "Plus it means that people'd follow her through the Void if she needed to get there. Believe me," he added, his grin going wry. "I speak from experience."
Cassandra raised another eyebrow at him. She'd caught the depth in that particular comment. "Oh?"
"I had to fling a couple of spies off the battlements a month or so ago. 'My soul is dust', all that kind of thing. And right after that, she took me, Blackwall and Dorian out to the Western Approach to help that dragon expert, remember?"
That got an eye-roll from Cassandra. "That took weeks to complete, and you came back covered in bites, all four of you. And then we had that ... thing in the stables. I never saw the necessity."
Bull smiled, the expression nostalgic and almost awed. "She did that for me. Her exact words were, 'C'mon; I'm going to find you a dragon to slay. That should cheer you up!'. So ... yeah, anyone who'd fling herself face-first at a dragon just to keep her squad from being too down in the mouth ... that's the kind of person I can get behind."
After a moment's thought about the depth and openness of the comment from the former ben-hassrath, Cassandra cut her eyes towards The Iron Bull in a sly sort of way and said, "And I imagine you wish you could do that in a more ... literal and physical way."
Bull stared at Cassandra, who had turned back to her pint as if she hadn't said anything unusual. He knew what she was doing; moving past the awkward mushy caring-sharing moment in a way he could appreciate. And he did appreciate it - enough so to cut his eyes towards the 'ceiling' that was the upper balcony and say, "Watch how loud you say that. Her girlfriend's up there and can take out an eye at two hundred paces. I've only got the one left."
Even Cassandra's near-trademarked disgusted noise sounded amused at that.

BIOGRAPHY.
Born in Kont-aar, Rivain, like all Qunari under the Qun, Talan was assigned a career from early on. He was a rebellious boy with a knack for getting into trouble, and often leading him to time outs and punishment from the tamassrans.
Talan snuck out through the borderline of Kont-aar and Rivain as often as he could, enjoying the freedom of a dock life and coming into contact with many humans. The Qun often traded with them, although mostly humans tolerated the Qun in Rivain simply out of fear of an invasion.
When Talan was young, he befriended a smithy who taught him how to use a bow and arrow. The man became a mentor of sorts for him (and an only friend), as Talan did not have many friends within the Qun no thanks to his rebellious nature. He never felt like he fitted in anywhere, including the Qun, and was often bullied by his kin as a boy.
As a late teenager, Talan took a shine to his mentor, however when the Qun did not like his influence on Talan, he was killed in front of him. Talan was re-educated as he reacted in horror to the man’s beheading. Ever since, he put his head down and worked as efficiently as he could without getting into trouble (or caught when he started trouble).
Word soon spread over Thedas of the breach and the Inquisition, including Kont-aar and Rivain. Talan didn’t think much of it until he heard that the famed Herald was qunari. He took an instant interest in who this mysterious Vashoth was, unable to believe that the humans of Thedas could ever accept a qunari in such a position. Whoever this Herald was, it could make a massive difference for the qunari of Thedas, and those who did not follow the Qun.
With his interest piqued, and the rumours flowing, Talan got wind of the Herald’s appearance, specifically noting that Kaaras Adaar had a rare trait in his people–red eyes. The eyes of his own father, who he only knew thanks to the tamassran (his mother) pointing it out when he was little.
Talan took it upon himself to search the breeding archives of the Qun and found information that linked his father as a run away re-educator. He was the only agent who had fled and who matched the age of the Herald as a possible son. Talan was convinced that they were related, and this was his way out. With breeding programmes so detailed and information that could pose delicate to both the Herald and the Qun, he stole the records and fled. On his journey South, in a panic, he destroyed the records when a group of Tal-Vashoth approached him. Suspecting they may be undercover from the Qun to take him back, he burned them up in the fire at his camp, losing all ties to his family tree–and Kaaras’.
Moving South, Talan set out to search for his younger brother and join the Inquisition as a means of escaping a life he never belonged and to hopefully be protected–no heroic intentions behind his action. The hard part wasn’t over, though. The hard part would be convincing the now Inquisitor, a Vashoth qunari who knew nothing of his father’s true past, that they were related without any records to back him up.
While on his journey to the South, the battle at Haven destroys the small village and Corypheus reveals himself. Talan arrives at a battlestricken Haven, meeting Inquisition soldiers who explain that the Inquisition (and Inquisitor) is now stationed in the mountains at Skyhold fortress.
PERSONALITY.
Talan is loud, boisterous and an utter flirt. While he is an intelligent man, he can come off as ignorant due to his lack of travel down south. He loves sex but is a complete commitmentphobe. Although he can come off as if he doesn’t take anything seriously, Talan has a very big heart and learns to understand the meaning of family and how important it can be.

Meraad was the third born child of Anani and Sosthenes. Anani was a Saarebas born in Qunandar. She was talented in primal magic, though typically stayed in line well enough that she kept her tongue intact and never had her lips sown shut. However, while out with her team, they were attacked and her Arvaarad was killed. Despite knowing the Qun required that she kill herself as her Arvaarad was now dead, she couldn’t do it and instead turned from the Qun. Due to her running away, she was deemed Tal'Vashoth.
She was alone for a month or two before she met Sosthenes, a Tal'Vashoth from Seheron. Despite being wary about getting close to anybody, she eventually came to trust Sosthenes; this trust only grew as he removed her pauldrons, visor and collar.
While the Qun had no real equivalent to marriage, Sosthenes and Anani pledged themselves to each other. Dragons were not particularly easy to find, so the gift of dragon-fang necklaces didn’t come until later. With no real place to call home, the pair tended to stay on the road often; hunting for food and putting up shelter for short bursts of time whenever they could.
They had three children: Neziah, Tyrus and Meraad. Neziah was the eldest and the first to show signs of magic. Tyrus showed no signs of magic, much to their father’s pleasure as he’d been worried when Neziah began training with magic. While not generally able to get along with Tyrus, the two do work together as mercenaries for the Valo-Kas.
Meraad, typically going by Nym to disguise her real name, was the last born and was born worryingly small. Anani and Sosthenes were nervous but hoped she would grow healthy as she aged. Instead she retained her pint-sized stature long into adulthood, barely reaching 5'10"; she was practically dwarfed by her brothers, both far into the tall end of 6 feet.
Around the age of ten, Nym’s magical abilities surfaced. Her mother, just like when Neziah showed promise, was overjoyed. Where Sosthenes taught the three children how to fight physically with weapons, Anani taught Neziah and Nym some magical skills. Nym was particularly talented in elemental magic, while Neziah preferred Primal. After a while, Nym had grown an interest in shapeshifting.
While being taught to fight, Nym made the decision that she wanted to use a greataxe, even despite her short stature. This, as suspected, turned out to be a bad idea as she could barely use the damned thing; though her wild fumbling turned out to be quite useful whenever she was surrounded.
Eventually, as adults, the three joined Valo-Kas; a Tal-Vashoth mercenary company. While her brothers became mercenaries, her practically non-existant fighting skills were a liability. After years of being a healer for her family, she took on the same job for Valo-Kas. However, in secret, she began training with dual-wield daggers so that she could join her brothers as being a mercenary.

Domaystic day 26!

Ellana had been in his office again. Solas sighed and wondered what prank she was trying to pull on him this time. His papers seemed to be in order. None of the books on his shelf were upside down or flipped so the cover was facing the wrong way. According to the marks he'd made on the floor after the last time, all his furniture was in the correct position.
He was starting to think she might have actually left everything alone, for once, when he spotted a pale yellow sticky note on his desk. 'Buy more sticky notes' was the message, laying on top of an empty package. Rolling his eyes, Solas wondered what had happened to the last package. He had bought it only a few days ago.

The library was full of frantic murmuring as the undergrads studied for midterms. Spotting an unoccupied table, and then a group of girls heading for it, Ellana rushed forward to plop into the hard chair. She smiled at them while opening her bag to shuffle through her notebooks. One of the humans scowled at her before directing the mixed group to take over a nearby table instead. One of the dwarves nudged the single occupant over, and he got up and left.
Ellana shook her head and turned back to her work; glad that portion of her life was done and over with. Chuckling, she finally dug out the notebook she needed and flipped through it to find her spot. She zoomed right past the sticky note at first, not even registering the flash of sky blue, but after a second her brain caught up with her hands and she flipped back.
The note was placed square in the middle of the page, with her partially translated copy of ancient elvhen runes scrawled around it. In his infuriatingly neat handwriting, Solas had written 'I bought more' and underneath he'd drawn… An egg. With a frown.
Clasping hands over her mouth, Ellana attempted to smother her laughter. The girls shot her dirty looks, which only made her laugh louder. Tears streamed down her face as she took a shaky picture of the note, and sent it to her group chat with Isabela and Sera.
'I think he heard you call him an egghead, Sera.'

My first ever perfect drabble! Done for the 30+ Drabble Prompt.
The cold crept through her suit, and in minutes Jane couldn't feel her fingers and toes. The others were huddled inside the Mako; impatiently waiting for her. She tilted her head back and watched the snowflakes drift in the wind. Something bitter gathered in the back of her throat. Her first snow. It should have been on Earth. It should have been clean, pure. She should have been able to taste it on her tongue. Instead she was on a planet hostile with cold and howling blizzards. An adult who had never been a child; mourning experiences she never had.

Ellana knew well before Solas that they weren't going out of town that weekend. That was because she decided it Thursday night, when he came home from work and immediately dropped face down into the couch without even taking his shoes off.
"Rough day?" She asked after a moment. There was no response. Glad that she had ordered food earlier, Ellana left the cartons on the island and approached her boyfriend.
Grabbing a foot, she pulled a shoe off without untying it. Solas grumbled and toed the other one off. He sighed and sat up when she went after his socks, though, taking care of them on his own before flopping on his back this time.
Ellana picked them up and put the shoes and socks in their appropriate places. Seeing that he still hadn't moved, she started dishing out their dinner and brought it to the coffee table.
"This isn't where we eat."
"Well, this is where you're at, and you need to eat, so here's the food," Ellana said with a shrug. "If you don't like it, then get up and we'll eat at the table."
Solas groaned and slowly sat up, wincing and rubbing his neck. She hadn't seen him since the night before. He had still been working in his office when she finally gave up and went to bed, and had left before she woke up in the morning.
He had bags under his eyes and a seemingly permanent furrow in his brow. Ellana could tell that he was truly exhausted, though, when he gave in and started eating where he was instead of insisting on the table.
She put the back of her hand to his brow, which he smacked away in an uncharacteristic show of irritation. "I am not sick; just tired."
"Well, alright then," she said, doing her best to not be offended.
Nothing else was said while they ate. Towards the end his eyes started drooping shut, and he set his plate and fork on the coffee table before leaning back into the couch. He fell asleep shortly after, leaving Ellana to clean everything up with only his soft snores as company.
After some debate, she placed a spare blanket, a nice one that they had recently purchased, on him before going to bed on her own.
She woke the next morning to warm puffs of air on her ear and an arm slung over her stomach. Sighing happily, she pressed closer to him and giggled when Solas burrowed his nose into her hair.
"What time is it?" He rasped.
Ellana lifted her head and looked at the clock. "It's quarter 'til seven."
Groaning, he rolled away from her and started sitting up. "We are supposed to leave in fifteen minutes."
"We're not going anywhere."
"We are going to the reserve, Ellana. I promised you we would, and we will."
"I'll take a raincheck. We're not going anywhere."
Solas finally turned around to glower at her. "I promised-"
"I know you promised," she interrupted, rolling her eyes at his frown, "but you are a mess. We're just gonna hang out at home. Do the whole 'staycation' thing."
"Do what?" He asked tiredly, laying back down and rubbing his eyes.
She rolled closer and draped an arm and leg over him. "Staycation. We'll take a break from life and just chill out here. No work, no socializing; just the two of us doing whatever we want."
