Altumen [all-tum-n] is an umbrella term for terms (genders, identity, orientation, alterhuman, etc.) connected to the deep sea, deep sea creatures, speculative biology, merfolk, merfolk culture, and nonhumanity/alterhumanity.

Altumen is a umbrella term that can also be used as a standalone identity. It isn't inherently any other umbrella term (xenogender, kenochoric, dimensen, etc.), but may overlap, and can be freely combined with other terms.

Altumen could include concepts/experiences such as:

being a deep sea creature

being a merfolk

merfolk culture

speculating on deep-sea creatures/merfolk biology

speculating on sea creatures/merfolk biology

deep sea fauna and/or flora

an identity only capable of being understood through these experiences

Altumen Terminology:

Altic [all-tick]: Altumen equivalent of masc/fem/etc.

Altumenous [all-tum-n-oh-us]: Altumen equivalent of masculine/feminine/etc.

Altu: Altumen equivalent of boy/girl

Tumen: Altumen equivalent of man/women

Altumic [all-tum-ick]: a Dimensen gender alignment, the equivalent of xenic

Transaltumen [trans-all-tum-n]: Altumen equivalent of transmasc/transfem/etc.
