Finally decided to write something. It has nothing to do with BL or ToR at all, which is kind of a nice change of pace. Instead, it’s a rough beginning to my nano wip idea thing.

Luo crept into the front chamber, their eyes darting around the bright room. Zeraf sat cross-legged, their short pink dress smearing its hem with rich dirt. They cooed at a young plant bearing its first flower, vocally encouraging it as they dug around its base to pry it from its pot.
“Master Zeraf?” the young deity called, slowly pushing the door shut behind them. “You wanted to see me?”
The older god smiled and set the plant into their garden next to its brethren. Their laurel eyes sparkled with joy. “I did. I’ve seen you watching the humans.”
Luo’s bronze face darkened with embarrassment. “You noticed.”
“It’s not anything to be ashamed of, Young Luo. It is in your nature, after all.”
Luo glanced around the chamber, taking in the forests-worth of small plants and trees. And you know all about nature, don’t you? they thought. “You’re not going to mock me, then?”
Zaref tilted their head. “Who’s been mocking you? Was it Seena? Vishis?”
“Alathor.”
The elder god blinked slowly. “What did she say to you?”
Luo tried to focus on anything but their senior. “That I should never have come out of Primordia. That no one could ever take a human-loving weakling like me seriously.”
“Did that upset you?”
They felt like hiding. Talking about Alathor only ever made them sick to their stomach, especially after she’d created those idiotic parodies of humans to add to her collection of mockery. The least she could’ve done was give the poor horses a break. “I guess so.”
Zaref finally properly looked at them, staring into their very essence as if trying to piece together what could possibly be wrong with this very different member of the Younger pantheon. Everyone else did, after all. “Are you ashamed?”
They rubbed their arm and stared at the floor, hating this interrogation more and more with each passing second. “It’s not my fault that she can’t see how incredible they are. I mean, she even decided to have a gender after them, so she doesn’t really have a right to insult me just because they interest me.”
“But are you ashamed?”
Luo sighed. “I...I guess? I don’t really know.”
Zaref crossed the room, their feet barely making a sound in the soft dirt. They placed a finger under Luo’s chinned and gently pushed it up, forcing the dreaded eye-contact they’d so hoped to avoid. “Why?” Zaref asked, smiling sadly at them. “They were meant to be beautiful.”
“Even Mesmit doesn’t like them, and they created them.”
The Eldest shook their head. “Mesmit didn’t like what Vishis did to their creation, so they moved on to something else that couldn’t be altered by another.” They smiled and swished their dress. “And as for the comment about staying in Primordia, she’s just jealous that she can’t see their beauty while so many of the rest of us can. You’re the Youngest, so she targets you thinking she can get away with it.”
“I don’t suppose anything could be done about it?”
Zaref dropped their hand from Luo’s chin and swirled toward a tree that was looking a bit drier than the rest. “I’ll talk to her.”
Luo’s shoulders relaxed, and they bowed. “Thank you.”
“Now go on, and do as you wish. You are not bound by the thoughts and actions of others.”
Revitalized, Luo skipped from the chamber, excited to see what their favorite humans were up to right about now.

Alastor and my two OC’s (+ Chroma)
Alathor is Alastor’s brother. Alathor is probably 10,000x worse than him, and is the one who has Alastor’s soul. He works for the Chroma gang, and wants nothing but power. Alastor never wanted to be the way he is in the show. His smile and viciousness is of Alathor’s command, since he is the real overlord behind Al’s smile. He was also the one who planned to hunt Alastor (Allen in this case,) ultimately causing his demise.
Orion is Alastor’s boyfriend. Orion is the God of the Night Sky. Orion has no true evil intentions, and is very protective. He was the first one to show feelings for Al, as he picked up on said feelings a bit later. He DESPISES Alathor beyond belief and had some history with him. His design is heavily inspired off of the Lunar Dragon, and comes in 4 forms: Humanoid, pre-Dragonoid, Dragonoid, and God form. He is also the one who releases Alastor.
And if you have been on my blog for a long time, you probably know who the heck Chroma is.
