The long-tailed sylph (Aglaiocercus kingii)

A species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. Their small bodies cannot contain their unadulterated rage.

Photo of the day – The Long-tailed Sylph (Aglaiocercus kingii) is the most widespread member of its genus. It is the only sylph found on the eastern slopes of the Andes. Though, in Colombia and Ecuador, it is also found on the western slopes. The species forages at all heights in the forest and on the forest edge.
