The guy - Abimbola Osundairo - Jussie Smollett tried to pay to fake beat him up is fighting on the Canelo undercard this Saturday.
Tumblr media
And he's fighting a legit guy in Bek Nurmaganbet, a former standout for the Kazakhstan national boxing team.
Also worth noting that Osundairo was a legit amateur. Won the USA National Championship at lightweight.

Troll Unit: 50 Cent Dragged On Twitter For Sharing Meme Of Megan Thee Stallion Morphing Into Jussie Smollett

50 Cent Dragged For Sharing Megan Thee Stallion Meme
Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz / 50 Cent
You can always count on 50 Cent to stick his nose in someone else’s business.
50 Cent isn’t blazing the Hip-Hop charts as he used to, but his trolling game on social media is on another level. The G-Unit general decided to give his unwanted input on the Tory Lanez trial.
The Queens rapper came under fire after sharing a meme of Megan Thee Stallion morphing into Jussie Smollett, insinuating that she is lying.
Jussie Smollett is now the “poster boy” for making things up after receiving a five-month prison sentence for allegedly faking a hate crime.
Smollett is still adamant he was telling the truth when he said men wrapped a noose around his neck and poured a chemical substance on him while yelling, “this is MAGA country.”
Chicago prosecutors called CAP after local law enforcement conducted an investigation racking up over 1,000 hours of overtime, concluding the 40-year-old former Empire actor paid two brothers, Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo, $3,500 to stage the attack.
The “Wanksta” crafter shared the meme on his Twitter and Instagram accounts with the caption, “Damn i’m confused all this shit going around *shoulder shrug emoji.* I don’t know what to think. LOL.”
Curtis Jackson’s latest social media antics come after a week of testimony from the trial that has taken over the internet. Megan Thee Stallion took the stand last week, delivering an emotional testimony while relieving the moments she claims led up to when the Canadian Hip-Hop star shot her.
Her former best friend, Kelsey Harris, followed her telling a different story on the stand after initially telling investigators she saw Lanez shoot at Thee Stallion.
Megan Thee Stallion’s Pain Is No Laughing Matter
50 Cent might have thought he got a good joke off, but fans have been dragging him for joining a group of people, mainly Black men and some Black women, who have been making light of the situation.
Many fans were quick to remind Jackson that Megan Thee Stallion did get shot and that Kelsey should be the topic of the meme since she can’t remember anything now.

Osundairo brothers expose Jussie Smollett ‘attack’ in ‘Anatomy of a Hoax’
Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo claim the morning they prepared to allegedly help actor Jussie Smollett stage a racist and homophobic attack against himself in 2019, he didn’t show up on time. “We made sure we got there at 2 a.m. sharp. We had no phones because he did not want us to bring any phones,” Abimbola alleged. “So 2 a.m., he was nowhere to be found. He was not there, so we were like,…

Jussie Smollett Officially Moves from Victim to Suspect
Jussie Smollett Officially Moves from Victim to Suspect
The “handwriting has been on the wall” for sometime now in the Jussie Smollett case in Chicago. As of Feb 20, he officially became a suspect instead of a victim. He is suspected of filing a false police report – a Class 4 Felony. Testimony was being given to a grand jury.
The case moved quickly from a “racist hate crime” to a suspected fake. If Smollett wanted to get attention…he now has it.…

CHICAGO — A federal judge in Chicago ruled Friday that comments made by Jussie Smollett’s attorney on national television three years ago that two Black brothers might have attacked the actor while in “whiteface” could be construed as defamation.
The ruling by U.S. District Judge Mary Rowland allows the defamation lawsuit filed by Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo to continue against Tina Glandian, Smollett’s Los Angeles-based attorney who made the controversial comments in an interview on the “Today” show on March 28, 2019, a few days after the initial charges against Smollett had been dropped.
In her ruling, Rowland dismissed all other counts brought against Glandian’s firm, Geragos & Geragos.
The lawsuit alleged that in the aftermath of the controversial dismissal of Smollett’s criminal case by Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s office, which was garnering headlines around the world, the former “Empire” actor’s high-profile legal team continued to smear the Osundairo brothers on TV and in podcast interviews.
The concerted media blitz was a blatant effort to paint the brothers not only as homophobic, racist, and violent, but guilty of the attack in the first place, the suit alleged.
The suit focused in particular on one exchange in Glandian’s “Today” show interview, when she was asked how it could be possible that Smollett believed his attackers were pale skinned given the Osundiaro brothers’ dark complexion.
“Well, you know, I mean, I think there’s—obviously, you can disguise that,” Glandian said in the interview. “You could put makeup on.”
Glandian went on to call out Chicago police for allegedly failing to investigate an online video showing one of the Osundairo brothers “in whiteface doing a Joker monologue with white makeup on.”
“And so it’s not—it’s not implausible,” Glandian said.
In her ruling, Rowland wrote that Glandian’s allegation could legally be construed as an attempt “to dispel the inconsistency in Smollett’s story (the attackers had light skin) and bolster her contention that the plaintiffs (who are not light skinned) were Smollett’s attackers.”
“Taken in context, Glandian was asserting plaintiffs’ involvement in a racially motivated attack,” Rowland wrote. “Explaining that the attackers were white, read in context, adds the implication that the attack was a hate crime.”
The ruling clears the defamation count against Glandian to possibly go to trial before a jury.
Glandian could not immediately be reached for comment. She and her law firm have previously denied the allegations, ridiculing the “so-called lawsuit” as “a desperate attempt for (the Osundairo brothers) to stay relevant and further profit from an attack they admit they perpetrated.
Smollett, meanwhile, was convicted of low-level felonies in December when a jury found that he had lied to police about being the victim of a hate crime attack. Prosecutors argued at sentencing that he denigrated real victims of hate crimes when he hired the Osundairo brothers to stage a phony assault on himself involving racial slurs, homophobic epithets and a makeshift noose.
Smollett was sentenced last week to 30 months of probation, with the first 150 days to be served in Cook County Jail. In addition, he must pay a $25,000 fine as well as $120,106 in restitution — the amount of restitution the city sought to pay for its overtime costs investigating the case, minus the $10,000 Smollett forfeited to the city when his first case was dropped.
The Illinois Appellate Court has since granted Smollett’s motion to be released on bond pending appeal, and he walked out of Cook County Jail on Wednesday after spending about a week in custody.

Smollett said he barely knew Olabinjo Osundairo, whom the defense is attempting to paint as homophobic. “He kind of creeped me out,” Smollett said. He said that when he was out one night with the Osundairo brothers at a female strip club, he and Abimbola Osundairo snuck away to the gay bath house.
Smollett also answered questions about a racist and hateful letter he received in the mail at the Empire studio on Jan. 22, 2019. Prosecutors allege that Smollett didn’t think the studio leaders were taking the letter seriously enough, and that was the motive to stage the attack.
But Smollett testified that the studio leaders didn’t just offer him security, “they got me security.” His concerns, he said, weren’t that they’d done too little, but that the security he got from the studio was too intrusive. The security company expected to drive him to and from work, preventing Smollett from driving around while on break and smoking pot.
“I’m a grown man. I don’t need to be driven around like I’m Miss Daisy,” Smollett said. “They were just doing too much.”
Smollett said that after he received the racist hate mail, Abimbola Osundairo suggested he should be Smollett’s security guard. It wasn’t the first time he’d said that, Smollett said, calling the idea that Osundairo would be his a security guard “just a running joke.” His defense has suggested that the Osundairo brothers jumped Smollett to scare him, so he would hire Abimbola Osundairo for a $5,000-weekly security job.

Smollett says he was attacked on January 29 by two masked men at the entrance of the Loews hotel in Chicago. He claims they yelled racist and homophobic remarks — making references to his show Empire and President Donald Trump’s signature slogan, “Make America Great Again.” Smollett says one attacker tied a noose around his neck and poured a substance on him that he believed was bleach; then the two fled.
Police were unable to find surveillance video of the attack even though it was in a heavily trafficked area with plenty of cameras nearby. They did, however, release images from surveillance video a day after the incident that showed two shadowed people walking down a sidewalk. Authorities wanted to take them in for questioning.
On Wednesday, February 13, police arrested two Nigerian men, Olabinjo Osundairo and Abimbola Osundairo, brothers who were later found to have known Smollett prior to the incident. Their lawyer says one of them had worked as an extra on the set of Empire; Smollett’s lawyer says another was his personal trainer for a brief stint, though neither attorney specified which brother served which role, or whether they were both talking about the same person.
Police raided their homes in search of the liquid suspected of being poured on Smollett. They recovered Empire scripts, a phone, and a black mask.
Until Friday, February 15, the brothers were being treated by authorities as “persons of interest.” But by that afternoon, the narrative had turned. Police released them both without charges, saying new evidence has “shifted the trajectory of the investigation.” (x)
I’m gonna be following this story really closely because it has a lot of personal relevance to me. I would really like to hear who these sources are or what exactly they are saying that casts doubt on Smollett’s account. It’s definitely weird that there’s no video footage of this thing, but a lack of positive proof can’t confirm he’s fibbing.

Via NY Post:
The Rev. Al Sharpton believes Jussie Smollett should face “accountability to the maximum” – if it’s found that he made up the hate attack against him.
The outspoken civil rights leader addressed recent reports that said the alleged assault on the openly gay and black “Empire” actor may have been staged with two bodybuilding brothers, Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo.
“I, among many others when hearing of the report, said that the reports were horrific and that we should come with all that we can come with in law enforcement to find out what happened and the guilty should suffer the maximum,” Sharpton said Sunday night on his show “PoliticsNation” on MSNBC.

Wow, Hell froze over.   I agree with Sharpton.

The Curious Story of Jussie Smollett and the Attack
The Curious Story of Jussie Smollett and the Attack
Jussie Smollett told police that he was attacked by two white men who shouted “This is MAGA country.” Police arrested two brothers from Nigeria, Olabinjo and Abimbola Osundairo (“Abel and Ola”), both of whom have ties to Jussie Smollett’s “Empire” show, according to TMZ. Both were arrested for Battery. Both brothers are black, which raises some questions. Was the attack staged?

“Empire” star Jussie Smollett has been charged with filing a false police report, a felony.
“Felony criminal charges have been approved by @CookCountySAO  against Jussie Smollett for Disorderly Conduct / Filing a False Police Report. Detectives will make contact with his legal team to negotiate a reasonable surrender for his arrest,” Chicago Police said.
Smollett’s attorneys and 20th Century Fox did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Wrap.
On Wednesday, Smollett was officially named a suspect in his own assault case. Smollett reported Jan. 29 that he was attacked by two men who shouted racial and homophobic slurs and referenced “MAGA.” After releasing two former suspects over the weekend, police said they wanted to interview Smollett again — and then declared him the suspect.
Earlier on Wednesday, Fox had renewed its support of Smollett, saying, “Jussie Smollett continues to be a consummate professional on set and as we have previously stated, he is not being written out of the show.”
That statement came amid reports, including one here, that Smollett’s role of Jamal Lyon would be reduced over the remainder of “Empire’s” fifth season.
Since Smollett’s first police report on Jan. 29, the investigation took many turns, with varying degrees of cooperation from Smollett. At one point, police brought in brothers Olabinjo (“Ola”) and Abimbola (“Abel”) Osundairo as persons of interest. As it turned out, both had worked on “Empire.”
The brothers were released without charges last Friday after the police said “new evidence” had emerged and that the investigation’s “trajectory” had changed course. Earlier this week, CNN reported that Chicago police believed that Smollett might have paid the brothers to stage the attack.
A week before Smollett reported the attack, Fox received a letter threatening Smollett. On Tuesday, ABC News reported that the FBI and U.S. Postal Service were looking into the possibility that Smollett had sent the threatening letter to himself, or played a role in its creation and delivery.
Also on Tuesday, Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx recused herself from the investigation to avoid “potential questions of impartiality,” a rep for Foxx said. First Assistant State’s Attorney Joseph Magats has been set to act as prosecutor in her place.
