Cheering loudly you jumped happily as you watched your girlfriend clarisse in the chariot race . She was dominating the field per usual, bringing you a sense of happiness.
As the chariots crossed the corner the winner was shown as percy and annabeth. Rolling your eyes at the circumstances you didn’t hesitate to run towards the daughter of ares.
Sneaking up and around the chariots that pulled into the clearing you snuck up to the taller girl. Watching for a moment as she yelled at her siblings you took the opportunity to jump behind clarisse covering her eyes. “Guess who”
Peeling your fingers off her face she turned around, looking you up and down with a critical look. She rolled her eyes before kissing your forehead. “I can’t stand you sometimes” she sighed while picking a piece of pollen off of your hair.
“That’s really how Your Gonna Greet your girlfriend?”
“Yes.”
“Ok clarisse” you joked rolling your eyes in response. Stepping up, creasing your shoes you placed a quick kiss on her lips. “Take care of the chariot ok? I need your sister for something” you politely asked the ares kids, stealing clarisse before they would retaliate.
——
“Where are You taking me” Clarisse complained while You dragged her deeper into the mountains.
“Can You Just be quiet and trust me” looking over your shoulder you raised an eyebrow, testing her patience.
After about five minutes of walking you eventually brought her to a clearing, it was ok the edge of one of the many cliffs at camp but gave a good view of not only the beautiful scenery bellow but also of the camp itself.
Leaning into clarisse you wrapped a lazy arm around her while resting your head on her. “Pretty huh”
She just shrugged her shoulders. “It’s all right” You softly hit her in the side. “It’s not all right It’s beautiful you jerk”
“No.. no I’ve seen prettier” she chuckled.
“Oh yeah? Name three things”
“Ok” Clarisse shifted around some. “Uh for starters the sunset, then my spear and lastly I guess you can count” she laughed as you hit her one more time. “I hate you so much”
“I love you to” she chuckled kissing you once again.
“You did great Today.. your dad would be proud you know” you comfortingly mumbled against her lips. Clarisse relaxed Some sighing once again “let’s just hope he agrees”
——
Heading towards the dining hall you happily held your girlfriends hand. Walking in the stone building you stopped making clarisse jerk slightly.
“What’s wrong” she asked with a concerned tone. Breaking from her you headed towards the Athena table.
Walking up to it you crossed your arms “do we have a problem”
They all looked around confused, some mumbling. “What are You on about?” Annabeth spoke all while giving you an equally dirty look.
“There’s nothing wrong with bragging about winning but the second any of you have the audacity to first of all say, clarisse didn’t deserve her quest this year or that she was just an extra burden which may I add you— annabeth crashed her quest, only to then also say that she deserved not winning just shows the fucking arrogance of you all” placing your hands on your hips you eyed the entire now silent table with some of the other kids in the dining hall following suit in being quiet. “Keep my girlfriends name out of your pathetic mouths and we won’t have a problem.. understand”
Walking back to clarisse you took her hand into yours once again, kissing her cheek you started to walk towards the ares cabin table with her. “Have I ever told you how hot you are when you act like a bitch”
“Eh you’ve mentioned it once or twice” giving her one more kiss, pecking her lips a few Times you started to chuckle as her siblings complained.
It didn’t matter what anyone said about clarisse. You would Defend her til the day you die.

Anyway I’m brainstorming here
Hermes Kid Roier has been at camp since he was real little because his abuelo didn’t want to deal with him after his mom’s death. That’s cool, Roier knows that his abuelo loves him, he knows it!
He has… some friends. He has Jaiden (Dionysus kid)! And he has Foolish (Hephaestus kid)! And Etoiles (Nike kid)!
(He used to have Spreen and his brother Missa [Ares kids], but…)
He stole a lamp from Hermes’ office up on Olympus on a camp field trip and Hermes was so proud that he gave Roier some fancy magic shoes that let him climb walls like a spider. This lamp has on Roier’s bedside table ever since.

Thinking about how Nike is named after the Greek goddess of victory and yet there are no Nike shoes that are named after Greek mythological figures. I would wear the hell out of some Air Ares, or some Odysseus’s.

Oh boy it's a ML PJO AU
So I'm just gonna list like the cabins and shit I have a bunch of other shit but I wanna keep this short, I'll only do like light blurbs (feel free to ask me more hehe)
Marinette is totally a daughter of Demeter. She spends all her time in the fields, and will go ballistic if anyone messes with her plants
I've got Adrien as a son of Aphrodite. I've also given him charmspeak, though he tries not to use it. He loves love, big match maker
You cannot tell me Alya isn't a Hermes kid. She's the ears of the camp, if something happens she knows about it. You can know too, for a price
Okay here me out. Nino, son of Tyche. I can't really explain it, he's got them vibes to me okay? But in like a film kid way. He's always trying to like see things brightly, he wants to highlight the luck in everything
Rose is a daughter of Hades, BUT WAIT. Blessed by Persephone. Her mom seduced both of them. I'm sick of kids if Hades hated by Persephone, so. Rose has this affinity for flowers and life, and the beauty in death
Juleka is totally an Aphrodite kid, can see the strings of love but is cursed to never be able to speak about them. Oh and she's a legacy of Poseidon; Anarka was a Poseidon kid for sure
Luka is another Poseidon legacy, but he's a son of Apollo. That's right Anarka bagged two gods! Luka can hear people's life stories through their soul songs and can vaguely interpret what will happen to them
Nathaniel is a son of Iris. I have nothing for this just. He's an Iris kid.
Anyways Alix is a daughter of Athena but she hates it. Jalil is a Hecate kid and she's so jealous- she managed to get Hecate's blessing, she's known as Hecate's Champion, and since there's currently no one in the Hecate cabin she begged her way into getting to be head of that too. Hecate gifted her with a charmed hat that allows her to see through all illusions
Marc is also an Athena kid!
Now for Kagami, she's an Ares kid. Got that battle rage, and a blessed sword that bursts into flames when she enters that state
Kim is another Ares kid, he's all brawn, no thoughts. He's got a pair of sweatbands from Nike, they might not even be magical but he thinks they'll bring him victory
Max is a Hephaestus kid, but he's a tinkerer. Works more with modern tech, he even set up wifi at the camp and everything
Now. Sabrina. Dionysus.
Anyways next up, Chloe is a daughter of Zeus. When she's angry a little storm cloud appears over her head, she has lightning powers and is always a little staticy
However, she has a twin. Zoe somehow ended up at the Roman camp, and eventually goes on a quest to find Chloe. She has more windy powers, like flight
Oh I put Aurore in Apollo
As for Lila, I'm giving her Nike. But she's also a Hunter of Artemis. And a little shit, causes chaos when she's back at camp for a visit
I put Mylene in Hypnos, she falls asleep in the strawberry fields, just a little sleepy gal
And I said Hebe for Ivan. I think it's funny
And I couldn't help it, Ondine is a Poseidon kid. But she has a matching set of the sweatbands Kim got, also from Nike
Now for some Romans :)
Jess is a daughter of Vesta, got a blessed guitar from Apollo. She's on Zoe's quest, she volunteered for gay reasons
And Aeon is a daughter of Vulcan, with a pair of winged shoes from Mercury. She went along so Jess wouldn't die from gay ignorance
--
Anyways I'll be posting about this for a long fucking time now ask me about it tell me your thoughts

Good Friction for Good Sneakers
One of the biggest issues facing the streetwear-, hypebeast- category sneaker industry is bad actors using bots to buy up all the inventory milliseconds after a shoe is released, and then reselling them for high markups. This hurts sneaker fans, as they're excited to have a chance to purchase their favorite sneakers, constantly refreshing the website, only to be disappointed when seeing "Sold Out" after just a few seconds. This also hurts the sneaker companies, as fans who don't want to pay these ridiculous markups turn to the replica / fake market, resulting in a limited-release shoe becoming more commonplace and hurting the "hype" of the brand.
To fight bots, companies have added friction to their checkout process. Around a decade ago, companies started adding CAPTCHA challenges, ranging from checking "I am not a robot" to "Select all images with a store front."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This added friction worked for to combat bots, but I personally think it was bad friction because many fans were annoyed at solving these puzzles, and if you got it wrong on the first try, the inventory would probably be sold out by the time you successfully solved it. In addition, bots became more advanced and could solve CAPTCHAs more quickly than humans, so after a few months, the bot problem returned.
More recently, companies have abandoned CAPTCHAs and instead opted for more creative ways of adding friction to combat bots. When Nike released a Dunk collaboration with Momofuku, a NY-based ramen restaurant, via its app SNKRS, it told fans to go to the restaurant and scan a QR code on the menu, and then used AR to create a picture of the shoe on their phone and purchase it then. This friction made it impossible for bots to bypass, and gave fans a feeling of excitement and accomplishment. Nike has done similar scavenger hunt approaches since, such as having celebrities post selfies and videos of themselves with a shoe at a random location in the city, and then having fans rush over to scan certain landmarks on the SNKRS app to see if they won the shoe.
Tumblr media
This approach could be difficult for other companies that don't have the same brand recognition and following as Nike, but that hasn't stopped them from employing equally innovative friction approaches. In 2022, one of the most anticipated releases was JJJJound's, a streetwear company, and Asics' collaboration on the classic Gel Kayano 14 shoe. On release day, JJJJound asked website visitors questions about their company, such as where and when JJJJound was founded, when Asics Gel Kayano 14 was first released, etc. This innovative approach gave true fans of JJJJound and Asics the best opportunity to buy the shoe. Likewise, when Travis Scott releases new merchandise, his website becomes password locked, and fans must find the password through word of mouth, Twitter, clues on his social media, etc.

I was expecting wearable shoes from the world's N.1 shoe company, otherwise its corporate art, or more similar to a student project.
It took a moment for it to sink in, but could they be stepping stones for a future in VR, or AR?
Even the Athletes posed to look like theywere in a video game.
The shoes are not physically wearable, because they are meant for wearing in VR and AR. These ornaments will be like dolls that you can buy and keep on your shelves. Maybe Nike are further ahead than you all imagine.

The Goonies (1985)
Smoking: After School Special
You know in the beginning when Robert Davi is faking dead in the county jail, I never understood how he knocked that cop out. It is one of the fakest hits I think I’ve seen in a movie. I mean sure it is 985, but it doesn’t have to be that terrible.
Tumblr media
Introducing all the kids throughout the police chase is brilliant through Steven Spielberg. I think my favorite is Corey Feldman when he turns off the tv for the sirens and then the sirens keep going and he hits the tv 😂 just turn around.
True brother-ship right there. Josh Brolin and Sean Astin definitely act like how brothers would.
Tumblr media
Ke Huy Quan is my favorite though. All his inventions.
F**king CF. All of those crazy things he “translated” for Lupe Ontiveros. “Always separate the drugs” 🙄
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Jeff Cohen… so loud, so annoying. Let’s just yell as loud as you can that these people are going to kill you to where they can hear you. Like tf
Anne Ramsey is definitely one of the scarier mob ladies I think I’ve ever seen. She was definitely a great choice to play Mama Fratelli.
Kerri Green and Martha Plimpton running into the restaurant screaming after finding fish heads on a rake. KG “it jumped right out of the bushes” 🙄 big babies.
Guess Nike paid for some ad space. Saw 2 clear shots of different kinds of shoes as they lowered into the tunnel.
I absolutely love when they starting banging on the pipes! The asshats at the Country Club deserve every bit. Especially Steven Antin in the bathroom!
Just realized that Joe Pantoliano is the captain in Bad Boys. Had to text the bestie 😎

Goonies Never Say Die!
Tumblr media
How does AR know the shoe size she was looking at are 5’s??
Now I really wanna Baby Ruth.
Tumblr media
KHQ’s inventions saved his live. Pinchers of Peril! Next, his slick shoes!
Then my favorite booby trap from One Eye Willie. The Bone Organ. Poor KG all that pressure to do it right and not kill everyone.
Then we have John Matuszak turn into Super Sloth and kicks his brothers asses! And then AR being a terrible mother. “I only dropped you one once. Well maybe twice.”
I always wondered how JC’s mother in the movie felt about him saying that JM was going to live with them now. Like just inviting some adult stranger into your home.
Of course, they save The Goon Docks!

Thanks for reading this episode of Reefer-Reelz-N-Reviews!

2024 Tech Trend: Will AR and VR make a comeback?
In the fast-evolving technological world, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) will impact and contribute immensely in all fields. This technology once considered cutting-edge, is now ready to make an effective comeback in 2024. This article explores the past benefits, uses in marketing, and future appearance of AR and VR along with the changes it creates in the audience and the user experiences.
Tumblr media
What is AR and VR?
AR stands for Augmented Reality (AR) and is simply defined as the enhanced or improved version of the surrounding real world using computer-generated elements. It can be created using devices such as smartphones, tablets, or AR glasses. AR imitates the real world and user’s views by adding graphics, images, 3D models, etc.
VR is a computer-created environment, which makes the users feel a real sense of touch and physical presence in the virtual environment. This virtual effect can be experienced through a Virtual Reality headset.
Beneficial rise of AR and VR
VR and AR had begun earlier but made a prominent presence in the 20th century with their innovative devices. Sensorama and head-mounted devices were developed using VR which also faced challenges like high cost, speed, etc. AR had applications in fighter jets, navigation, and AR games.
In recent years AR and VR have gained applications in many fields like gaming, medicine, marketing, education, etc
AR/VR in Health care: AR in medicine has a specific use in surgery, where surgeons can get real-time advice in the process to improve accuracy. VR is useful in therapy, medical training, and practices without risk.
AR/VR in gaming: One of the most used VR applications is gaming, as it provides interactive and real experience in gaming. The most popular games are Beat Saber, Tetris Effect, and Population: One. AR is used in entertainment sectors like Pokémon Go and also the filters of Snapchat, Instagram, etc use this for entertainment.
AR and VR in Marketing
Marketing is understanding the target customers and promoting the product of a company on the requirements of the buyer. AR and VR have made marketing easier and more effective through their special technology.
VR marketing is very useful in connecting customers and the company as they can feel the real product virtually. Showcasing the available products and their development through VR can attract the customer and also can be used for the feedback system. Normally marketing with ads is beneficial but when you make customers feel the impact of real experience the equations will change and the profit will increase automatically.
AR is one of the useful sales and marketing strategies where people can view the product with a single tap on a mobile screen. Trial before buying which is a new shopping way with clothing, makeup, etc using AR this is easily done where the branding and sales probability are high.
Benefits of AR/VR in marketing
The renewal of AR and VR in marking strategies with new technology can create a greater user experience and accessibility of products. This can be created using updated hardware and graphics tools which is cost-effective.
Marketing is useful when done in an attractive way to grab customers, AR/VR provides you with a unique way of showcasing the products which helps in branding and personalized user experience.
AR can also make a major impact on B2B sales where the older methods used salespersons, brochures, etc whereas augmented reality visuals the products in 360 Degree virtual experience.
AR is effective in applying the customization user option example Nike allows you to customize your shoes according to your wish and hence provides greater user satisfaction.
Looking Ahead
AR and VR are used in many fields, but industries like real estate, fashion, and tourism can be more beneficial in the upcoming days. In 2024, Apple will implement VR/AR in the picture and announce the release date of a Vision Pro display. Google, Samsung, and Qualcomm are also likely to launch reality headsets.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the comeback of AR and VR will bring prominent changes and trends in the market that provide great opportunities for businesses to connect the bond with customers in different ways. By analyzing the needs and expectations of the audience, one can adopt and see the massive changes in the business using AR and VR technology.

Transforming Online Shopping: Unleashing the Potential of 3D Product Visualization
In the swiftly evolving world of eCommerce, creating captivating visual encounters is the pivotal strategy for distinguishing oneself from the mass of competitors. Though traditional product images hold their importance, they often fall short of fully capturing a product's essence. This is where the advent of 3D product visualization and augmented reality (AR) product visualization comes into play, revolutionizing how businesses showcase their wares.
Within this article, we will delve into the advantages, implementation techniques, optimal practices, and real-world instances of both 3D product visualization and AR product visualization within the eCommerce domain. Our aim is to explore how these technologies can reshape the manner in which customers interact with products, ultimately heightening the overall shopping experience.
Section 1: Unleashing the Potential of 3D Product Visualization
Imagine embarking on an online shopping journey for a new pair of shoes, only to be greeted by static images. While these images are helpful, they lack the depth required to fully comprehend the product. However, the introduction of 3D product visualization transforms the shopping encounter into an immersive and interactive escapade. Shoppers can now observe products from varying angles, zoom in to scrutinize intricate details, and even engage with diverse product features. The true power of 3D product visualization lies in its capability to bridge the divide between physical and online shopping, presenting an authentic and engaging experience that enhances customer confidence and drives conversions.
A prime example of this is observed in Nike, a distinguished sportswear brand. They integrated 3D product visualization into their eCommerce platform, affording customers a dynamic and immersive shopping encounter. By showcasing their footwear and attire through 3D models, customers were empowered to rotate, zoom in, and interact with products from myriad angles. This level of interactivity facilitated an evaluation of design, textures, and features that traditional static images simply could not replicate. This, in turn, fostered increased customer engagement and a deeper affinity between customers and their chosen products.
For a comprehensive understanding of these transformative technologies and their applications in the eCommerce landscape, I encourage you to explore the complete blog post by Nextech3D.ai. Dive deeper into the benefits, implementation strategies, best practices, and real-world examples of 3D product visualization and AR product visualization. Is Augmented Reality the Future of E-Commerce?
Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that all sectors are betting on, and e-commerce is no exception. Although still an emerging technology, AR is steadily gaining ground in e-commerce and shaping the sector. Users virtually viewing furniture in the Ikea space from their homes, virtually customizing and trying on a pair of the Nike Air Force, and trying on virtual sneakers in the Gucci app are examples of how AR is revolutionizing e-commerce, moving the trend towards virtual commerce. No wonder why online businesses are increasingly opting for Big Data consulting services.
Tumblr media
Here's why the impact of AR on the future of e-commerce is undeniable and how integrating it into your online business can benefit you.
Augmented Reality and the Future of E-Commerce
The revolution in traditional communication and distribution models has generated the explosion of virtual commerce. Faced with customers and buyers becoming increasingly demanding and very volatile, reinventing the shopping experience is important. To increase the market share, the conquest of new customers and the loyalty of existing ones necessarily pass through innovation and re-imagining this purchasing experience, and that's where augmented reality intervenes.
E-commerce employs augmented reality or virtual reality in many forms and is evolving into virtual commerce, boosting online sales in virtual environments. Innovative and immersive, virtual commerce greatly entertains and appeals to buyers. It provides an improved customer experience that captures the consumer's interest and allows businesses to meet their needs.
Online businesses increasingly turn to IT firms providing Big Data Analytics consulting services for agile AR solutions to turn their e-commerce into virtual commerce. The emergence of AR-enabled on-screen 3D walkthroughs and life-size virtual products, which the customers can virtually view and try from their homes, affirms how AR will mark the future of e-commerce.
How Augmented Reality Will Mark the Future of E-Commerce?
Augmented reality appears as the promise of a new experience, creating the real metaverse and allowing users to wander from their real world to the virtual one. Until recently, no one would have imagined trying on a shoe or a garment virtually without leaving their home. Thanks to AR, this has become a reality in e-commerce, a trend that will transform the sector entirely shortly, according to various studies. In fact, many Big Data Analytics services firms already speak of 'Augmented Commerce,' where the trade will be based on this technology.
In addition, the promise of AR in e-commerce is two-fold. Besides offering the noticeable benefit of a boost in sales, augmented reality:
Recreates the emotion that users usually feel in stores and
Ultimately reduces each individual's carbon footprint eliminating the traveling factor to the store
Thus, with augmented reality, online businesses can provide users with more visual information about the products, improve the customer experience, and gain more insights from online data to improve their products and services.
E-Commerce is Resolving Irritants with Augmented Reality
Virtual reality intervenes in resolving the friction points encountered in the buyer journey via e-commerce, facilitating sales. As a pre-sales tool, it reinforces the purchase decision and reassuring the customer.
In addition, AR promotes better visualization of the product. It improves the understanding of the functionalities of a good or service. By making fitting possible, virtual reality avoids errors and misperceptions. It limits the waiting time at checkouts, enabling online businesses to meet their customers' expectations constantly.
Augmented Reality, an Unavoidable Technological Option for Online Businesses
Augmented reality is currently taking a considerable place in e-commerce. This ever-developing technology is an intriguing option for sellers and buyers. If you're interested in taking augmented reality to your online store's advantage, contact Vates, a leading Big Data consulting firm offering a range of IT solutions to big and small companies.

The Power of AR Product Visualization in the Metaverse Era
Tumblr media
AR Product Visualization is the use of augmented reality (AR) to create a 3D representation of a product that can be viewed in the real world. Due to its ability to give users a more realistic and immersive experience when interacting with objects, this technology has the potential to completely alter the way we buy.
There are many advantages to using AR for product visualization. When consumers can see a product in 3D, they are more likely to be interested in buying it. Second, AR can help to reduce returns. When consumers can see a product in their own environment, they are less likely to order the wrong size or color. Third, AR can help to increase sales. Studies have shown that consumers are more likely to buy a product if they can see it in 3D.
There are a few different ways to use AR for product visualization. One way is to create 3D product images. These images can be used on websites or in marketing materials. Another way to use AR is to create VR websites. VR websites allow consumers to explore products in a virtual environment. Finally, AR can be used to create AR catalogs. AR catalogs allow consumers to view products in 3D and interact with them in a variety of ways.
Augmented Reality Product Visualization is a powerful tool that has the potential to revolutionize the way we shop. By using AR, businesses can improve customer engagement, reduce returns, and increase sales.
Here are some specific examples of how Augmented Reality Product Visualization is being used by businesses today:
⦁ IKEA is using AR to allow customers to see how furniture will look in their homes before they buy it. ⦁ Sephora is using AR to allow customers to try on makeup before they buy it. ⦁ Nike is using AR to allow customers to customize their shoes. ⦁ L'Oréal is using AR to allow customers to see how different hair colors will look on them. ⦁ These are just a few examples of how AR Product Visualization is being used by businesses today. As the technology continues to develop, we can expect to see even more innovative and creative uses for AR in the future.
On behalf of BlitzAR, I believe that AR Product Visualization is the future of shopping. It is a technology that has the potential to make online shopping as effective as offline shopping, and it is something that businesses should be investing in now.

I think it's a cool idea but isn't really worth it since no one else wold see or know how to see o use the AR. its very tedious having to download their specific app to see it.

AR Catch-up
Augmented reality (AR) is an interactive experience that combines the real world and computer-generated content. The content can span multiple sensory modalities, including visual, auditory, haptic, somatosensory and olfactory. AR can be defined as a system that incorporates three basic features: a combination of real and virtual worlds, real-time interaction, and accurate 3D registration of virtual and real objects. The overlaid sensory information can be constructive (i.e. additive to the natural environment), or destructive (i.e. masking of the natural environment). This experience is seamlessly interwoven with the physical world such that it is perceived as an immersive aspect of the real environment. In this way, augmented reality alters one's ongoing perception of a real-world environment, whereas virtual reality completely replaces the user's real-world environment with a simulated one.
Augmented reality is largely synonymous with mixed reality. There is also overlap in terminology with extended reality and computer-mediated reality.
Examples of AR:
Pokémon Go
youtube
- Pokémon Go is a game that uses AR to track the creatures called Pokémon in real time images, It uses mobile devices with GPS to locate, capture, train, and battle virtual creatures, which appear as if they are in the player's real-world location.
AR+ mode is an enhanced version of Pokémon GO's augmented reality feature in which Pokémon appear anchored to your real-world environment right in front of you. You can walk right up to a Pokémon for a chance at an Excellent Throw bonus or the perfect photo opportunity.
