i thought about adding chan's reaction but decided against it because i didn't want it to be too long akzndj BUT chan deffo had a talk with han when he noticed that they slept in the same room,,, just asking him about it and making sure everything is okay because that was a big shift in their 'friendship', also a "u better not stay anything stupid to yn ever again". BUT chan was SO HAPPY about it because that's the two ppl he loves the most,,, deffo teases them every time and like he knew before they even told him.. (ofc they kept it secret for a few weeks, just for the thrill of hiding and sneaking 😋)

no but yellowjackets paralleling lottie’s dream to jackie’s im still feeling insane about it. jackie who said multiple times they were going to be dead soon anyway and hating it out in that wilderness and losing her footing in the team and her sense of self and having no will to survive. lottie who is becoming not only a leader but a beacon of hope to these girls who have found something holy in her, who has endless hope ‘we won’t be hungry much longer’ ‘javi is still alive i can feel it’, who killed the bear, who works to ensure the groups’ survival. jackie needing to find that footing she lost so in her dream everyone is looking after her and assuring her of their love. lottie feeling the pressure of everyone’s belief in her and that manifesting as their cruelty in her dream they are laughing at her and she is letting them down, she cannot even say a prayer. jackie who was in a way killed by the cruelty of the girls having their devotion in her dream. lottie who gets their devotion in reality having their cruelty in her dream. jackie who can’t find the will to survive who doesn’t fight who doesn’t go back into that cabin being guided gently into death by laura lee ‘it’s not as bad as you thought is it’. lottie who does want to survive being pushed hard back into life by laura lee ‘we have to get you out of here you have to go go! go!’. just. this fucking show.

Do you have any headcanon of The Last Ronin Universe? Like, the adventures of the turtles before the peace treaty was broken, characters that exist in this reality and what happened to them, etc.
I do!
- Since fugitoid exists in the ronin comics, i truly think the brothers had their space arc adventures and all that comes with it (triceratons, kraangs, dimension x, the technodrome).
- Making the battle Nexus a thing like in 2003 because it would be cool that Mikey is the undefeated champion for a couple of years (Raph is Not happy about this but the boasting mellows out as they age)
- The mutanimals existing but getting an early death before the peace treaty
- About the enemies i truly feel they all were either defeated by the hamato clan or also died during the passing of the years. Since in the comics the only last well known villan is Stockman (who just wouldn't die in truly Stockman fashion) i feel like every other well known villain from the franchise just isn't around during the future (by this i mean, bebop, rocksteady, hun, huuuh those are all that come to mind atm)

I have been listening to Interview with the Vampire audiobook since hey the amc show is in October and I missed the vampire chronicles and
1 I forgot so much of the later half of book, my memory really means things are brand new after like 3 years ToT rip
Im very much appreciating that it was a big book to switch to telling a vampire story from vampires pov, which I realize now I do appreciate a lot and it's probably why now I enjoy when monster stories decide to go monster pov route
Hearing that it was sort of a historical fiction (from maven of the eventides lovely youtube videos) so much clicks into place. How Louis is a symbol for his generation of rebellion and feeling he doesn't fit, feeling so Much. How all the vampires personalities and traits to some degree serve as historical parallels or references to feelings of a time/place/attitude, how a lot of the settings and general plot showcases location and daily life. Yes it's vampires, but it's also just 2 dudes living in New Orleans, then 2 dudes having a daughter they spoil in New Orleans, then 1 dad and his kid traveling Europe and eventually settling in Paris. The kills of the vampire life are occasionally focused on but it's like... mostly everyday life scenes with a vampire twist and historical setting showcased. Armand and Louis conversation in the tower with Armand saying how Louis is attractive and desirable for BEING an embodiment of rebellion and feelings and change really hammered that home for me. It's an aspect I like a lot about the novel that I barely noticed let alone appreciated the first time I read.
The narrator pronounces Louis the English instead of French way, which I just can't get used to lol cause the movie imprinted on me ToT so that's the funniest thing to me in the audiobook
I have come to appreciate how much vampires get written as sort of creatures Separate to human. Yes Louis sometimes views becoming a vampire as a dark gift/curse, but overall there's vampire stories that treat vampires like dead versions of their alive selves with magic aspects. Then ivtw treats it more like: theyre alive so long as vampires, personality evolving with time as expected, that their vampire life is like a New Life as a New Creature. A creature who sees diffetent, eats different, feels differently, and wonders in its lonely life if there's other creatures and what their own meaning of existing is. It's like humans in the sentience, but a new species of animal wondering what their purpose is and their morals are or should be or what society is or should be and if there's god and if humans are equal to them in worthiness, or if a human to them is like a mouse or ant to a human, which is to say so much less in the consideration of sentience some humans don't much think about if they accidentally step on an ant or if their dog manages to eat a mouse at least not to the degree of thinking it's a huge crime. I have seen some vampire stories go more this route as it feeling a wholly new creature, and others swing opposite and make vampires feel very much like humans still but cursed/altered (like Shadowhunters, and my own writing usually).
Louis has awful taste in men lol. This is subject to change if future books make Lestat seem better (as I never finished future books lol), but like. My dude Louis gets hitched with who he thinks is a dull gold digger, for some reason doesn't break up though. Then when his lover "dies" he keeps mooning over him with longing like Louis! A little late to recognize u liked him a bit! Then u like Armand, who couldn't care less if ur dear Claudia dies. And u really say u love him! Wow Louis, worldliness really appeals to u huh. If Lestat talked about great thoughts and mused over it despite u know, knowing nothing like Armand doesn't truly know much either, u would think Lestat was charming way earlier dude! Louis is the example of that person who likes an emo guy singing in a band cause "he seems so deep mom" but then given a similar guy who doesn't sing is like ugh he's so uncreative and bland and material. When it's like Louis honey get to know both ur jumping to a lot of I Love You conclusions after so little time ToT.

WHAT’S HER OCCUPATION we all know ellie plays guitar but for some reason i’m obsessed with the idea of her being an underground guitarist that sings at open mic shows. like in some alternate universe, you were definitely a bartender at some saloon and met her at one of the shows she was performing at during a long, hourly shift. BUT if we’re talking on a college level degree way, she’d DEFINITELY be an astrophysics major. also a plus: she would have random niche posters or articles about space hung up around her dorm room like a geek.
HER STYLE i’ve been dying to go off on a tangent about this one. ELLIE DRESSES LIKE A DIVORCED DAD. Ooo... I didnt like this part at all... Instead of making the choice she just runs off. Then because the plot demands it, Adam says nothing. Kinda whish she atleast avoided the question, maybe in some way that would require actual thinking? For a character like Vaggie, she could choose either way and it feel like it's still her. If she chose to protect Charlie's dream, she would still be perfectly loyal to her but in the act of so would reveal a secret that could harm their relationship(which does happen at the end but that's because the plot wanted it like that). If she chose to side with Adam, she'd be hurting Charlie emotionally, sure, but it would keep a secret that could make Charlie see Vaggie less than who she is to her already(atleast what Vaggie might think would happen). Imo it should've been her deciding to protect Charlie, since it would mean she's devoted to her at all times.
ANOTHER THING! IF SHE COULDN'T MAKE THE CHOICE, THAT IS SOMETHING INTERESTING TO GO INTO. Maybe it could go deeper into how Vaggie doesn't know who she is without Charlie. So when she has a choice to make, like here, she can't do it without feeling the need to ask Charlie. BUT NOOO, YA HAD TO GO WITH THIS!! Wow. That was a long ass rant. Wtf 😭

Everyone fears to be like Lucifer. If they don't do bad things they believe are for the greater good and make sacrifices that put them higher than those in hell, they could themselves be fallen. It's really interesting but I don't know if it's going to be fleshed out enough with the amount of episodes left. Which also worries me about everything else that still hasn't be concluded. There's gonna be loose strings I just know it. Hopefully though they rather do that then rush everything out y'know?
I want the next episode to be mostly focused on Vaggie and Charlie's relationship and the healing of what happened. Not for the entire episode of course, it would feel drawn out if it did, but atleast address the problem for the first like I would say 10 minutes? Then the rest would focus on one or two loose threads while also having Vaggie and Charlie acting upon moving on. That's just my idea but yeah-

Would you mind if I asked you about your OC Ner Wanless? I'm a bit curious about what could possibly drive him so far down that Caine would raise his blade at him 🕺🕺🕺 Had he left the Shepherds by then? Did he become a vigilante? Where are the other Shepherds (Blade, Chase, etc.), and if they were still around and not, you know, Dead, had they cut ties with Ner? WHAT WAS HE DOING? 🗣🗣🗣

My story is just a lil au add on to shoh :))
This story happens when the whole magic ban by the autarchy is lifted akjdjdhd. Also, in my au, nobody in the Shepherds die ajjsjd i love them all. Ner cut ties with them instead.
The Shepherds were kinda just like a passing phase for Ner
(He knew he wouldn't stay that long, and that he would leave someday. Only for the protection from the autarchy and money). It was mostly a bad choice in his part to not say anything to anyone, except Caine and Blade. To Caine, whom he left a short letter (A letter in which I have already written out kajdjjd) and his weapon too. So he became a sort of vagrant (Wayfarer, traveler ect, ect. He prefers the life of never settling down.)
Along the way, he got himself some sort of curse that forces him to kill to sate the curse's bloodlust. Nobody could lift it because it's so old and archaic. So he starts taking mercenary requests, but I like to think the curse has its periods where it's strongest that he needs to kill more. But mercenary work takes a while. Him being good at psionic magic, he could dig deep inside peoples minds to find their wrongdoings that haven't yet faced consequences. He didn't find a fault in it; it helped him, and it rid the world of someone terrible, regardless whether the killed tried to repent for it or not. So in part, yes he became a vigilante, but to an outsiders pov, he's straight up just a murderer.
Ofc, a random, dangerous Aetherai-Psionic mage killing seemingly innocents periodically would find themselves facing the Shepherds best one day. Which Ner found himself in the unlucky battle between caines team and himself. I would imagine the battle would be Ner holding back while Caine has to begrudgingly admit that his old best friend is a murderer. Ner refuses to explain himself, he thought it was probably too late anyway. He was already a bad guy to everyone. So it was a battle of *Emotional damage* Lots of stuff said, maybe a lot of cuts and cruises and blood spilled.
but the real damage done was to Ner's insides. Cause you know, he ends up dead anyway.
But ofc, this all would be irrelevant if Lena gives us the option to let MC die. I'll probably do that, but it's always nice to have my own interpretation of what could happen.
So yeah, nothing really that crazy. Just something self indulgent I thought of a while back.

tatort is like. a german tv show that has been on air for Years, and it has those different installments dedicated to different cities? and tatort saarbrucken is one of the newest installments, or the newest one? idk, it's probably on some wiki somewhere. :D a new episode per each installment comes out roughly once a year, from what i understand, and tatort in general is apparently that sunday dinner with your parents kind of show that basically each country has, and that you usually don't pay that much attention to and don't expect much of it ajjsjd (and those shows are typically kind of "safe" and family friendly in this part of europe). i honestly don't know much more beyond this, my friend @kerasines got me to watch it by suddenly posting about it one day and saying how surprised she was that TATORT, of all things, had kind of become gay all of a sudden, lmao. that got me interested!!!
and no, it's not text, and who knows if it'll ever be text, tbh. but the leads have lovely chemistry (that's being used to bait via the show's official social media like it's 2012 <3), and the relationship is definitely /the/ emotional centre of the show! they're the main draw for me, but beyond them, the show is a decent enough crime procedural. tragically, they're cops 😔 BUT IF YOU CAN GET PAST THAT....... they're FUN
#there's a LOT of potential because they used to be CHILDHOOD BEST FRIENDS bonding over TRAUMATIC EVENTS and then one of them disappears for#15 years while the other one thinks he's dead#AND when they reunite they recognise each other instantly#they always have their little Thing going on in every episode next to the Main Plot of the ep#and are being Very Intense about it#and YEAH something about it feels like classic ~bromantic shows of 2000-2015#by which i mean#what they have going on feels more interesting than what some of the canon gay romances have these days ajdjdh 🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️#it can't be compared to destiel in any way i think#it's a different dynamic and a different kind of show ya know?#ANYWAY hmu if you want the google drive 😈#anonymous#a response#tatort
