I won't lie these were really freaking fun to make because I started to notice shares traits throughout them and like wah! The genetic relations! It was really cool, such as gradients on tails two toned eyes, lots of white/paler colors but honestly I loved making them so much

Silly trivia I was so looking forward to doing Anxiety I accidentally skipped her thinking Sage was next then Annie so I did them the wrong way, I gave Annie her chew necklace because shes been drawn by a stranger she doesn't know and is being so brave about it and deserves a stress toy (and respectfully no I am ignoring her likely now canon scars I ain't doing that to her) and I gave Sage her Dicot because like also being drawn by a strange new person in strange environment deserves comfort plant (and I'm sure she'd tell me exactly why keeping a plant on your head is a terrible idea and horrible plant enrichment and she's right I'm sorry)

I hope Glimmer is alright I kinda had to redraw the pose as giving her a mew base pose felt disrespectful as a humantwo and respectfully no I'm not doing the other eye lmao, also if she should have a second neck I'm so sorry

Gemini and Sam are smaller because I suffer from makes base really big on canvas disease so I wouldn't have been able to fit two on oops, so they got shrunked sorry about that

And I do hope all their colors are okay! I mainly used your header to pick reference colors from for a lot of them but I also searched for other references finding some and what not, I used 9s header icon art to do the face pattern and eye colors ect and compared lineart from comics with their header refs ect for what was accurate, I made Ones chest plate seem a bit smaller and less developed because of that as theirs is drawn like that in most of the comics ect and like fun fact Gemini and Sams tail was originally lifted but since in most depictions it's down and on the floor it's now drooped low which makes sense likely less strain.

Sorry to ramble on I'm just I love these a lot and had loads of fun making them and I just hope that they're accurate enough and that you like them!!

oh god oh fuck they're doing a 7-star Mewtwo raid. This is gonna be the HARDEST raid yet because not only is Mewtwo an incredibly powerful special attacker, its physical attack is high enough that it could one-hit KO most pokemon with a supereffective attack, and that's the LEAST scary part about this fight!

No, the worst part is that its moves will be completely unpredictable. it will be entirely impossible to form a strategy until we've seen the beast in action.

As a special attacker, it has the signature move Psystrike, which combined with the Psychic tera-typing, will be absolutely devastating to any pokemon that isn't a Dark-type. It also has access to a powerful special attack to match almost any type. Even if we know its base type, we also know it can easily cover its weaknesses, and cover them well.

And that's if it's a pure special attacker. If it also knows any physical attacks, this raid may actually be impossible because of how thin it requires us to spread our defenses to accommodate. It gets all three elemental punches, poison jab, stone edge, foul play, and earthquake.

Not to mention, berries will be useless. So far every 7-star raid has had its hidden abilities, and frankly, Mewtwo with Unnerve is the best-case scenario. If it has Pressure, all the PP Max in the world won't get you all the way to the end of the raid.

Oh but I'm not done. We can't even predict Mewtwo's bonus actions. If it's a pure special attacker, there's every chance that it can use both Amnesia and Nasty Plot, giving itself a free +2 to special attack and special defense whenever it wants, doubling the damage it deals and halving the damage it receives. But if its also a physical attacker, we have to worry about a potential Calm Mind/Bulk Up combo, giving it a +1 bonus to all stats except Speed, which is already exceptionally high.

But even THAT might be bearable, if only we weren't expected to use Mew, a pokemon known for having the lowest passable value in every stat. Luckily, it has access to literally every TM in the game, including Steel Beam, for some reason.

Boys, this one's gonna be rough.

What the Scarlet/Violet Mewtwo Event Raid(s) feel like :

I don't know who Gamefreak saw asking for harder events (given the Delphox raids were brutal enough) but by golly-by-arcues did they crank the difficulty up to "Are you going to cry? 😢 " or the alternative "You aren't hot shit just because you're Champion". I have played since the OG Pokemon games and the raid had me slightly shaking as I tried to figure out what move set I could use (after so many failed attempts). Along getting me to feel the sting of tears of frustration with my last raid which thankfully ended in a success as we nearly wiped towards the end after I experienced some lag and saw a fast forwarded onslaught of attacks from Mewtwo to our group. Got to hand it to Whoever worked on this raid, the despair and hopelessness was real. What every pokemon media had said fighting Mewtwo on a serious level is. 🥴🤘 Rambling Spoilers below if you want to experience the brutality of the raid blind.

Thank you to the random players who helped me get Mew two after the timer had 25% left and we were all about to die because Mewtwo removed the de-buffs we managed to get on him after we managed to prevent his surprised "3rd phase" full health recovery attempt. I am sorry I almost caused a wipe because I got greedy wanting to terastallize instead of waiting to secure misty terrain to prevent the full heal from Mewtwo. Whoever it was that managed to throw down Electric Terrain; you are/were the MVP. Thank you. 😭💖

Lechonk Shiny?

Lechonk! Since I am stuck at home with Covid, I drew everyone's favourite pig Pokémon but with a twist... she's shiny (well how I imagine shiny Lechonk will look when Scarlet and Violet come out) 😸 I decided to go with pink for her body as some pigs are pink, beige for her face to match the original Lechonk and lavender for her nose and feet because it combines nicely with the pink and beige 🥰 💖💜🤎 I do hope they do something similar to this for shiny Lechonk's colour scheme 😸

my main take aways from the Pokémon presents today is that Rodimus Prime is gonna be in the new gen 9 games and that Mewtwo uses it pronouns.

I did it folks, I got my Mewtwo! Took two tries, but my and 3 strangers did it! Mewtwo was my first ever favorite Pokémon, and still holds a special place in my heart. I never use Master Balls in game, but for such a special Pokémon, it deserves it! What should I name it? I want to use some imposing scientific name/concept/thing, but I need ideas

Generations ago the world was chaotic and had many governments and powers in charge. Was too chaotic before, too many threats of wars and even some super weapons made meant to wipe out others. They decide how everything goes, in our corner they make the plan that our research follows. Currently we’ve been waiting for what’s next after they put a halt on a second attempt at a zygote grown mewtwo after Eve escaped.”

Glim: *chuckles* “In simple terms. A long time ago they took over all the regions. Now they run the world.”

Tyler: *laughs at the new question coming through to them* “Yeah we do. I was just getting the towels to dry her off when the whole place blew sky high.”

9: *Grumbles* “Yes, most of us were there when she escaped and now she’ll pop in to bother us and steal foods from the break room fridge. No security measures can stop her so far and she refuses to let us even scan her…”

Sam: “Well, we managed it once and then she broke Gemini’s ribs… so… ya know. Not trying that again.”

Tyler: *Nervously laughs* “Oh uh. I was already kind of used to them but I was pretty freaked out at first when the dentist said they’re part of my teeth now. They make bite and crunch super strong when I use those moves though!” *He finally frowns* “Ah uh… hmmm… no. There’s rules against Pokémon in schools. I got a symbolic highschool diploma because my principle liked me but it’s not official with seals and such. So I didn’t get the college credits because the college couldn’t accept me either. But being a mewtwo fast tracked me to a job here! I’m still an assistant even after this long. Hard to learn on the job when so much is so specific but I’m learning!”

Everyone else: *Looks to 9*

9: *Blushing sheepishly* “… Well, they would have… but when I was made into a mewtwo I uh…. May have ended up with an electromagnetic power that wiped data bases and my psychic the minds of anyone that knew me… I’ve never managed anything close since…”

Sam: “The idiot wiped himself off everything. So now he’s just 9. No one knows his human name or life. Thankfully it’s only him…”
