you guys ever get gender euphoria just from watching a scene? for me it's that bit in early season 8 of house when he trims off all the hair he grew in prison in the hospital bathroom while park watches. the beginning of the scene is silent too, there's no music, so you can hear the clippers and. god. it makes my brain thrum. something so ritual and anticipatory and freeing about it

#i mean i've cut my own hair ever since the pandemic hit but i've always kept it at least chin length #the rest of the scene has rock music over it which is very fitting lol. i love cutting my own hair #it never turns out 'good' so it feels incredibly punk rock #it's thinned considerably and i'm actually balding here and there from stress and other health issues so i'm very anxious about #chopping it all off completely #but i'm going on some meds for it so hopefully i can do it soon... i can't wait #the scene is from 8x3 charity case btw. believe it or not hate crimes md was EXTREMELY gender affirming for me #not in any way i could explain without tons of prior context but yeah #house md #houseposting #vaaya moodu #gender
