3. What is your favorite episode, and why?
Honestly, I love episode 7, but I love them all. Episode 7 really shows Tim growing and coming to know himself, accepting himself fully, and growing both as a person and in his emotions for Hawk. Hawk has finally shown his emotions (in the sense that he needs Tim as well). “Don't you need me, Skippy?” That line and scene are just aaahh! I love everything about it, including the 70s setting.
6. What is your favorite parallel or reference in the show?
I'd say the difference between the book and the show is honest. The book starts in 1991 with Tim's death, and their relationship doesn't go past 57/58. We don't get the 80s scenes like we did in the show, and let me say, Hawk and Tim own my freaking soul!!!
9. What is your favorite headcanon(s)?
No matter how much time passes, they still feel as much as they did and like they haven't missed a moment.
14. Do you have any unpopular opinions about fellow travelers?
My only opinion would be that the show had so much more to tell and they didn't give it to us. I also feel ending Hawk and Tim the way they did was heartbreaking, and I love the ending but wish they'd ended happier or shown more time between them.
16. If you could give the show an alternative ending, what would happen in your version?
The alternative ending for me would be in my mind.
When Hawk offered Tim the house on Fire Island and they met a couple times a year to make up for lost time, Tim accepted, and they stayed together. Tim never died, and they grew old together. They deserved a good ending, and for me, that's how it ended in my mind and an eventual fanfiction.
