Exercise
Post Summary: Some exercise routines I’d like to start getting into now that I am no longer binge drinking.
Something I’ve noticed since reducing my drinking is that I have NO more hangovers or nausea when I wake up in the morning. I’m still in the early stages so am still experiencing tiredness and some mental fog, but overall I feel soooo much better physically already.
Since I’m feeling better, here are some exercise routines I’d like to start getting into:
Kickboxing: I have an unlimited monthly membership to 9Round Fitness and have been attending inconsistently since October 2022.
Yoga: I purchase blocks of 10 classes at a local studio and have been attending semi-consistently since January 2023.
Hiking: My partner and I have been wanting to get into hiking for the past couple years, and have found the 52 With A View (52WAV) list. We hiked last Sunday and today!
Weight Lifting: I’ve attended a couple local gyms on and off since college. I’ve been thinking of getting a membership at Planet Fitness to have the extra option of cardio and weight lifting.
Here is how I imagine my exercise routine going. Keep in mind I work 6am-3pm every day. I don’t have a PF membership yet so I’m just peppering that in.
Day: Activity 1 4:00-4:30, Activity 2 5:30-6:30
Monday: 9Round 4:00-4:30, Vinyasa Yoga 5:30-6:30
Tuesday: PF 4-4:30, Slow Flow Yoga 5:30-6:30
Wednesday: 9Round 4:00-4:30, Yin Yang Yoga 5:30-6:30
Thursday: PF 4-4:30, Mindful Flow Yoga 5:30-6:30
Friday: 9Round 4:00-4:30
Saturday: Hike one of the mountains from 52WAV
Sunday: Rest Day! If I missed a previous workout: options are 9Round 8-12 or PF anytime

Mt Crawford Hike
One of less common routes to Mt Washington is via Davis Path. It’s less common because, simply put, it’d be a heck of a hike. Long miles with lots of gain. But, wow, what a way to go. Middle Sugarloaf Marriage

It was inevitable. We knew that eventually we’d have a couple pick one of the Sugarloaves for their mountain wedding ceremony. It’s a terrific sunrise option, if nature offers up a sunrise, that is. In any case, there are numerous grand vistas in most directions on these well-loved 52WAV peaks.
