on that kids n tech thing i saw someone be like "well some parents are too poor to buy toys and work a lot-" GIRL my stupid ass military dad was gone most my life out bein a boot boy and my mom had to work at a stupid grocery store and we didnt have much money at all but they still made time for me when needed and didnt just stick a fucking. whatever technology at the time idk they didnt just stick a DS in my face at age 6 and neglect me. like yeah i grew up in north carolina in the south and mom kicking me out on a 90 degree day was probably bad but ill be damned if it wasnt fun as shit. i know iphones and such are growing more accessible so more kids have them at a younger age but its honestly depressing how many parents who aren't technically abusive still dont give a shit about their kids enough to play with them at age 3 and not shove youtube in their face. not to mention the way this causes a lot of kids now to be brats straight up. like theres always been bratty ass kids cuz their parents dont care but now its like theyre completely obnoxious cuz more and more parents are choosing not to give a shit about what their child does. as if that isnt bad enough on its own a good portion of these people actually WANTED a child but still neglect them with a screen. like my god just dont have one then if you dont wanna entertain a 5 year old developing an imagination

Pleaseeeee also lmk if you had house rules with funny names and if so what they were (realized I've completely forgotten all the 4square house rules we used to have)
giving u the gwaine emotions. eye of the phoenix is such an episode
Like HELLO why on Earth were they allowed to give us plots so good and then just drop the ball like there was no cherrybomb rule on the 4square court?!?!! Outside of Merlin himself. Gwaine had the biggest character potential out of everybody, he was a Knight of The Round Table that had motives outside of Arthur (come ON his motives were your TITULAR CHARACTER HOW DID YOU NOT USE THIS), Eoin himself who was a dream actor for the role and capable of so much more than the scripts gave him, he had an actual personality, which, if we’re being honest, they really did fail to give a lot of layers to most of the knights, etc. etc. I could go on forever.
Anyway, I love Gwaine I love how he’s a foil and a complement and a magnetic force on his own every time he’s on screen, and I love this episode and I love how they incorporated mythical prophecy with action in a very Arthurian way blah blah blah blah I’m insane!
will we get details about all the aus mentioned i need to knoww theres so manny pathetic looking dreams and sams i
It's a flowchart! Okay, basically, theres not actually all that many aus here. Just a lot of alternate endings.
Theres coparent, jmah(and her sequels 4square+mayfair), forced family, and our newest baby box au. (which i have been an absent mother to on accident i need to properly catch up....)
They all exist in their own right but JMAHs plot involves timeline bullshit so JMAH mayfair ending is a HOST to the cross timeline bullshit.
Birdhouse is the name of the au where we smash them all together. So most of the boxes on the bottom are alternate ENDINGS not aus in their own right
Just turned 5 Sept 2023, and I realized I sort of skipped over the SBE2 part of all that CM36 and 28 talk. In other words, this describes a fundamental of identity; the orthogonal structure is a 36Square. I also forgot that there’s a link to CM28: it’s not a 1Space integer square, but when you count an Extent, then you obviously count 28 before you reach 36. That means we reach a 28Square, and every other square along the way, so we’re building up abstract structures, which is really cool. So, one simplification or gs rendition of a 28 to 36Square would be a next 8 count, which then itself is a CM64 on that Extent. Isn’t that neat?
So, one way to look at a CM36 is along or as an Extent, in which case a 28Square expands to a 36Square by invoking a 64Square which is orthogonal to the Extent!
Back to SBE2. We said that SBE is identity over Between, and thus SBE2 is identity in both directions, meaning I//I. That’s different from identity in a count of 5, which is why that’s a hand: 1-0-1-0-1. That highlights the difference between I//I and operation within a perspective. Lovely. I’ve been looking for that sentence all day.
So, this came from the idea that it’s far more pratical to run pairs of parity checks, where the pairs are of course the roots of the orthogonal 36Square. If I have this correct, and I’ve been hot - worried about the cat coming in, where is he? - then the pair invokes the above for each and thus both, which means a CR of the count where a literal 28 lines up with 2 of 36 to make 100. I never thought of that before.
It’s hard to believe, but there it is. I just saw CR of an Extent, which is exactly CR, exactly the 1Space rendition of the 1Segment and 1-0Segment over an Extent. And here it joins the pair.
I think that’s all I can get done tonight. It’s amazing.
The cat came in. I was worried because he barfed on the rug earlier.
I’m having trouble arranging words in sentences. I’d say it’s a consequence of being this associative.
Why a parity check? Because that’s 1Space calculation. As mentioned earlier or yesterday by date, the counting of szK by 1 is Triangular over grid squares. That is the solution space, the place where solutions appear and disappear within the Dimensional Enclosures. Instead of writing on the wall, make it writing on the ceiling, on the inside edge of the DE. As noted, that reaches up not just to D4 but to all but the count of D5. Think 1-0Segment labels.
So, 1Square, 4Square, 9Square, 16Square, 25Square, 36Square, 49Square, 64Square, 81Square, 100Square at CM100. Count to 10 in 1Space and you get orthogonal gs construction.
This connects an old troubling question about 81 and 19. That is, if we translate a count of 10 to LayerView, that’s L19. So when we count L19, which is of course szK10, then we bend the Extent. And we connect it to quadrants.
Need to sleep. Brain tired and I ate too much. The stuff I put my body through today.
So, today started with a bit of a sleep in, rising naturally at 7:30am in an amazing old campsite in Damper Bay, shy of Wānaka but very much on the lake. Was a chilly start, with the weather app reporting a brisk 4 degrees, but the sleeping bag was reluctantly packed away as I had meetings to make! I was away walking by around 8:15am, beanie, gloves and jumper included. Making my way around the bay, I made it into town about 10:30 treating myself to a coffee and an egg gozleme while I charged my phone (battery pack and phone were pretty much on 0 after five days bush). Gave myself a leisurely 30ish minute break while I journaled, todays entry largely was around resilience and how regardless of the conditions every step must be taken and how knowing how far you have to walk doesn’t take those steps for you, but also about the genuine feelings of accomplishment after a difficult day. Next I went to the 4square as I was out of snacks, bought myself a Gatorade as my old bottle had put in a hard 3 weeks of walking and a bumper bar. Next step was onwards to Albert town, I’d read on the far out app (the app I use for gps and mapping) that a patisserie in the next town had the best donuts ever, but closed at 2pm so I had to hustle the next 12 odd km along some of the most beautiful scenery. A combination of perfect blue skys, snow capped mountains in the distance, extravagant luxury lake houses, and then turning the peninsula to walk up the start of the Clutha river. I got my donut with 15 minutes to spare and mate, the notes were bang on, best donut I’ve had. Salted caramel was perfectly balanced and sugary but not too. Gets better though, upon thanking the staff as I was leaving 20 mins later, they asked if I wanted the left over chocolate one, so I happily took that for a snack 6kms later. Next destination was on to Lake Hāwea, another 12km up ahead. This was more road and footpath walking which got to be quite sore on the feet by the end of it. Ended up following this river which had some of the clearest water I’d ever seen. Along this part I put on Lord of the Rings audible to listen to which I’m about three hours into now. Makes for great listening as I’m walking through this scenery. Got to Lake Hāwea around 5:30 for a 33.8km day. Relatively easy due to being pretty much flat, apparently 400m total elevation, but compared to my last few days of 1,500m+ felt easy. Tracks were straight forward at least. Days not over yet though, as I’m going to a wedding in Wellington this weekend, I needed to get back to Queenstown where I can stay at Matt, my mates place. So, I had to hitch from Lake Hāwea to Wānaka, took about 10 minutes waiting, after getting picked up, I unfortunately saw a sign directing Queenstown, so asked to be let out. Turns out that sign pointed to a 1:30 min way via Cromwell rather than a 1 hour path over the crown ranges so I had to get another hitch an extra 8 minutes fo a better part of Wānaka directing me to Queenstown, waiting for probably 30 minutes, about 6:45 at this point when finally this lovely Canadian girl Beckie, who has been in the country 2 weeks and was living out of her car picked me up and took me the hour journey to Queenstown which we got to see a stunning sunset over the crown ranges and then a beautiful pink haze over the Remarkables coming into QT where I now lay in Matt’s spare bedroom writing this:
Stat round up:

nostalgia is a feeling only those who had an emotional connection in their past can experience. whether it be a memory, a toy, a person, a certain snack, nostalgia normally brings joy to those who remember. i personally get hit with a wave of nostalgia when i eat one of those cherry, lime, and blue raspberry popsicles. i remember riding bikes with my family we stopped to go into a store and we got popsicles. some people might feel nostalgia through music, may it be a band they used to listen to all the time or their old favorite song, or just a song they remember from childhood. maybe seeing someone do something with other people is enough to trigger nostalgia. maybe you had done that yourself with some of your own friends. nostalgia can come from a certain activity as well. see some kids playing hopscotch? wow, i remember doing that! 4square? jump rope? iconic things as a kid. you pass by some people talking about a show or book you used to love? that's a nice slap of the past. but there are also places. a park you used to go to all the time with family? a restaurant you went to with them sometimes, that was possibly your favorite? what about people? you used to be best friends with them, but you drifted apart. now, every time you see them, you remember everything but know you shouldn't bring it up. you remember everything you did with them, but it's over now. nothing you can do now. nostalgia can be both happy and sad, but for some reason people normally only talk about the happy side of it. i can see why, but sometimes it's nice to let loose a little.
