4KOTA Theory
Nasiens is intentionally taken and hidden to never be found
Ever since Nasiens being Kiane's kid was being talked about. I always wondered who had the balls of steel to do this. I know fairies are tricksters but I don't think they're stupid enough to do something like this. Then, I realized something. I realized just how far away Echo Gorge is to the Forest.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
From what we learned from this week's chapter the portal to the Fairy Realm is in the Original Fairy King's Forest which is located at the most northern part of Britannia while the New Fairy Kings Forest is much closer to the Kingdom of Liones, there's still a possibility that there is also a portal in the New Forest. But, regardless of that it is still a massive distance from Echo Gorge which is quite close to the ruins of Camelot which is located at the most Southern part of Britannia. They're literally at the opposite ends of the map. Which makes me think that whoever took Nasiens made sure that he was never found and by the looks of things the fairy who took Nasiens never came back to the Fairy Realm or the Forest because if they did King would demand that Fairy to bring his child back.
I am lowkey suspecting that Camelot is behind this. There's a possibility that they manipulated a fairy to do this, we already saw that Arthur made a fairy to transform into Merlin just for his own satisfaction. I wouldn't put it past Camelot to do something like this.

I might be wrong, but (lmao)
With the new information we have on Nasiens, and looking back on how his character was introduced, I think it's safe to say he'll be the next Fairy King. Or at least a Saint of the Fountain like Elaine.
The situation we meet Nasiens in is sort of similar to Kings in NNT, when he returned to the Forest after abandoning it for seven hundred years. He's trying to protect the gorge with everything he's got, searches for an antidote and finally uses it, despite the fairies shunning him because they think he's responsible for the decay in the first place. He takes their insults, and some stones to the head, and it's only after Percival yells at them that Nasiens explains the situation. He protects the forest and his family, even with almost everyone against him, sort of paralleling King defending the new FK Forest from the Albion. Then of course there's his magic that basically screams walking-fountain-of-youth.
Apparently Sixtus can use a Spirit Spear, so being Fairy King doesn't seem to be a requirement for that, so maybe that goes vice versa, or maybe Nasiens will get a Spirit Spear later on. I'm super hyped to see where all of this is headed. For all I keep bitching about this manga and its author, the foreshadowing is fucking sublime. Nakaba knows how to weave a story.

Y'all
I just thought of something
So, with the demon woman that's popped up in the last few chapters, the one with Tristan atm, I was thinking about how some people have theorized that she might be related to someone we know, right?
Now, despite that, there's not really much that connects her to really anyone we know, tbh, but then I had a thought
What if she is related to someone we know, but not as their kid?
Now, I have no idea if this is the first time someone has thrown this idea out here or not. I have yet to see it, but of course, that doesn't mean someone hasn't posted it, okay?
But here's the thing. I was thinking about it, and like, why does Percy have so many random connections to the demon race? I mean, he can literally speak the demon language as easily as he can English and of course, there was that whole weird ass demon(?) spell he used on Chion when he thought Anne, Nasiens, and Donny were all dead.
Again, I'm sure lots of people have theorized on why that is and someone might've already thought of this, or at least part of it, but what if, if IO (just remembered her name, LMAO) is someone related to anyone we know, which in all honesty is actually highly unlikely, I know that, but if she is, what if she's Percy's mom? Or somehow related to Percy's mother?
Like, Percy's dad is Ironside and so far it doesn't seem at all like he's anything but human, but we know absolutely nothing about his mom so far, but, at least based on everything we know so far, no one really has some kind of demonic trait or ability like Percy's without having some kind of connection to the demon realm/a demon, right? And even if it isn't IO isn't his mom, since again, that seems very unlikely, tbh, I think that his mom is still some sort of demon, or half demon. Or maybe Ironside is half demon, who knows. But I'm betting more on his demon connection coming from his mom, tbh, not his dad
So, just somethings I was thinking about, so there y'all go, lmao

Do y'all think Gawain's power isn't really sunshine? But something more along the lines of Ameri from Welcome to Demon School's bloodline magic?
Like, as long as she believes she can do it, she can? Because her power set makes no goddamn sense to me at the moment.

Short fan comic made by me (0>0)_/
So, in some middle of year during times nasiens have been in the fairy realm in a year and half now; let's say nasiens have long bangs or hair but then tioreh is happily willing to cut hair for nasiens that he/she don't mind since It's been a bother and then while later after cutting hair, tioreh then seeing now nasiens hair is much shorter and clearer; tioreh firstly think seeing nasiens that much of that hairstyle and features are more and more so uncanny similar to her parents that eventually she's now then little more observe that nasiens may be her biological sibling which later been confirmed.
(Just for fun drawing and kinda sharing some thoughts of these ^^)

I was thinking about this and I just wonder why Guinevere said "someone whose heart you can never have". Why never? There are only 3 possibilities:
1. She is basically incapable of loving someone. And we know this isn't true because she had a crush on Meliodas when she was 12-13 (which is utterly STUPID and I refuse to accept that it was that serious) but anyway that means she's capable of liking someone romantically.
2. She's dead... Which, could be but I don't think Arthur is crazy enough to kill the woman he supposedly loves (which is, once again, STUPID) and she's also powerful enough to protect herself from anyone who tries. And I'm not coming up with anyone in particular who would want her dead...
So, that left one possibility.
3. She already loves someone else.
And again, I'm not coming up with any name (except for Escanor)....
The fact that Guinevere knew it wasn't the real Merlin implies that she must have seen the real Merlin in her vision, doing something that confirmed to Guinevere that she's not on his side/her heart doesn't belong to Arthur. Or Guinevere was just saying things to hurt/offense Arthur and I'm reading too much into it lol

Okay, I have something to say. I can be wrong or not, but let's go.
There's a theory that Mertyl and Nasiens were victims of a prank (the changeling thing), but in the chapter 141
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
In both cases, King says that maybe he was unconsciously looking after him.
Unconsciously.
No parent will stop looking after a child, no matter how long that child was lost. No matter how much years it's takes.
Unless is dead.
Unless the parents think his child is dead.
All this time, they thought that they child was dead.
This is why it take 2 years to tell Nasiens the truth. They were afraid of the truth (that they failed to find they child).
This is why they haven't told Mertyl about being adopted (one of the possible reasons).
They firstborn child "died" and no one's knew about that.
Maybe I am wrong. Maybe not. But it's a good reason to all of that have happened.

So some of my thoughts on the uhhh infamous Jericho and Lancelot thingy
I hate it. I absolutely hate it, along with like 99% of the fandom, which is plausible and understandable. But I don't hate it becaus it's "pedobait" or something like that, for the narrative clearly does NOT condone her actions.
Tumblr media
First and foremost, she's treated seriously as traitor and enemy. Obviously because she has sided with Camelot, but we can still say that it means her motive aka her "feelings" for Lancelot isn't shown in a good light enough to justify her betrayal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her falling for Lancelot is NOT normalized. When speaking of her relationship with Lancelot, everyone immediately thinks of that of a mentor-student and older sister/younger brother, that means it is considered totally not normal for Jericho to fall in love with a kid like Lancelot. The phrases "family", "master", "sister" and the likes are used repeatedly to highlighted the contrast between her actual feelings for Lancelot how she should feel towards him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It is clear that Jericho also expresses shame about that, as shown when she cut Guila off. She herself said that it was disgusting, and she ran away because she knew common sense and that "love" of her was inappropriate.
In conclusion, her inappropriate feelings are not condoned, she is shown under a bad light, and treated as an enemy. If you feel disgust reading this, then that is GOOD, because you are supposed to do that, the narrative wants you to be disgusted by this.
But then why do I hate it? Because it did Jericho so so so dirty.
Why must she fall for Lancelot? Her hopelessly gushing over Ban was not enough? Why must she be the pedophilic villain, fooled by Arthur and betray her comrades for a fictional world he promised her?
I used to like her so much! She's funny to read, she's compassionate, she also has flaws and that's what fleshes her out as a human. Her character arc was basically completed in 7DS: She got over her crush for Ban, kind of stopped arguing pointlessly with her brother (because he uhhh died), awoke to her magic, and with Gustav's death she could then see Ban as her brother figure just like how he saw her as his little sister. It was perfect.
There's literally no reason for Jericho to become like this. It's just so fucking sad.
Tumblr media
The best thing we can hope for right now is that Arthur probably brainwashed her into thinking she loved Lancelot romantically so she could become his pawn. Who knows what kind of fuckery he could pull with that chaos magic of his.

All right, all right!
Hear me out first! I've had some thoughts about Lancelot.
.
Tumblr media
Okay, I think everyone's read the last chapter of SDS about Lance's disappearance and Jericho. At the end, there was a line about Lancelot returning under the moniker "prince of the lake."
.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But the question was raised in some people's minds "how?" if Lance himself said that no one, after fighting him, was left alive.
.
Tumblr media
And now in the last chapter, Lancelot fights Nanashi, and when he saw Lance's magic, he realised its nature.
When the battle was over, Lance didn't kill Nanashi, they became friends.
.
So, my theory is that it's Nanashi who starts the rumour about Lancelot, which gives him the nickname "Lakeside".

Fiamet And Cridea’s Signs
Ok so like. I feel like it’s inevitable that Fiamet is a limeblood. It’d be weirder to me considering the evidence if she wasn’t rather than if she was. Her horns literally looks identical to one of the limeblood signs. So I wanna talk about something other than the obvious. I wanna talk about Sign names. Idk how accurate these are to most of the characters I.E. Konyyl has the sign of ‘the synthesizer’ which you could not ask me to interpret for a million monies, but hey, people talk about it when they do their “marvus is a limeblood theory” and ykw good for them, so I will too. So. Let’s talk about the surface level interpretation here. Fiamet has this sign:
Tumblr media
A doom sign, prospit, and with my limited knowledge of “never read homestuck but still likes hiveswap” I can say with slight confidence it’s common for doom characters to kick the bucket (no.) This is the sign of the tilted, which ig makes sense because Fiamet is a rebel leader.  Now Cridea, she’s interesting:
Tumblr media
THE PUPPETEER? As in. Maniuplator. Now on it’s own I don’t think this is inherently malicious. She’s an influencer after all! But. Um. Remember the Fiamet/axoltl lookin sign? Ya wanna know what it’s called?
Tumblr media
Yea. For those of you who don’t wanna look it up, constrained means forced or manipulated. Which when you take into account that Dammek, Xefros, Fiamet, and Cridea are the most important four trolls in the game. Hm... It would also make an interesting pairing for the two characters because it’s mind and heart (common parallels iirc), and Blood and rage (motivators for rebellion), but that’s just a random thought. I’m not saying I’m positive that Cridea is a traitor manipulating or blackmailing Fiamet in some way (which is an idea I think I’ll dive into further on my thoughts on the why and how later, because those are more flexible and focus on the what for now), but it does concern me, and the concern isn’t helped by “the green button isn’t working”.

Alexa, play Queen “We are the champions”, BECAUSE I’M CONTINUING WITH MY WINNING STREAK! 🎉

(Okay but actually Nakaba already once just forgot what Percival’s eye colour was, but still he might have really changed it to be even more blunt with the idea of Gawain’s heritage)

CRAZY THEORY INCOMING
I think my brain just glitched...
Ok so... Camelot. Arthur made Camelot through the power of Chaos right. At first, I found it weird that Arthur even needed to steal parts of Britannia to make Camelot. Chaos is incredibly powerful, it literally made three powerful deities that made their own realms for their own created races. So... why can't Arthur just make Camelot on its own. Then, it was later established that these places and people in Camelot are made through the wishes and wants of the people, without it there's nothing. If Chaos is so powerful, why is Arthur limited through that? Then it clicked.
The Sacred Tree is still alive
The Sacred Tree is essentially an embodiment of Nature. Disaster, a power granted by The Sacred Tree to the Fairy Kings is an ability that grants control over life and death.
The 'people' within Camelot function like a physical illusion. They're 'alive' but not really. They're just there, fueled by a wish. They don't even grow old, they just stay like that because that's all they are an illusion, they're not alive because there's no life.
The Demon King's power is darkness. The Supreme Diety's power is light. The Sacred Tree's power is life.
Notice how unnatural-looking the Chaos monsters are. Almost demonic even. That, to me, shows that Chaos is unstable.
The Demon King and his Commandments and The Supreme Deity and her graces are somewhat of an extension of themselves, it's their power passed to others. If we correlate this to Chaos creating the DK, SD and ST as Chaos sacrificing parts of their power, that power is lost or weakened because they have it. But the DK and SD are no longer present and since they are created by Chaos, that power most likely goes back to it. That is my assumption at least. But the graces are still out there. Ludo, Sariel, and Tarmiel died with their graces so they'll just go back after a few thousand years with their graces so that part of the SD probably didn't even go back to Chaos.
I made a post way back and on that, I compared the Commandments and Graces to Disaster as all three are just an extension of the DK, SD, and ST's power, in there I noted how Disaster is different as all three Fairy Kings can use it even if they're all present, it's not like the Commandments and Graces that only one person can use it. So that is also interesting.
There is also a complete lack of Sacred Tree information and just now, in 4kota is literally the first time we ever step foot inside the Fairy Realm and we got more Fairy Lore which is really nice. Now, what if the reason behind the lack of information about the Sacred Tree is because of Chaos. Nakaba doesn't want us to know anything about Chaos up until the very end because of 4kota, because he wants to keep Chaos a mystery.
In Chapter 140, Tioreh told us about these giant mushrooms that grow on top of the Sacred Tree's roots that are called "God Seats". The DK and SD are the only ones primarily dubbed as Gods. So that part is also interesting.
This is the Demon King's last words to Meliodas.
Tumblr media
"You will regret this..."
In Cursed By Light, before Meliodas and Zeldris beat the Supreme Deity, she says that the only way to maintain balance in the world is by continuing the Holy War.
Before Chaos is established, this is just nonsense. But now that we know... I have a feeling that the DK and SD sealing away Chaos has more to it than what we know. Also, isn't it fun that two beings born to be in conflict with one another worked together to seal Chaos? Now, we don't get to know more because they're gone but the Sacred Tree is still around... so there's that.
I have a huge feeling that Nakaba will give us some juicy lore about the Sacred Tree in the future. Either that or I'm high on copium.

Why isn't Nasien's being pulled by Arthur's magic
Is it that Nasien's distracted?
Or that he hasn't lost anybody?
Or...
Is it that he can't hear Arthur because he isn't

Overanalyzing 4KOTA Chapter 142 instead of just waiting for more info (1/2?)
Honestly? I'm writing King's side of this separately, because it's about time I started talking about him here l and I know I can go on forever about him. That field of over-analysis needs its own house. I would go off about him first but then I'd forget his kids entirely and I don't want to do that to them... Speaking of--
Tumblr media
So silly. So precious. Berte is so Helbram-coded and I'm sure that's intentional resemblance.
You know...I wonder which of their traits were inherited from Diane's parents. Probably the golden hair on almost half of them at least. Sixtus and Tioreh's pink hair looks more like a genetic mutation...unless their hair color is inherited from the leaf color of the Sacred Tree? That's possible too.
Tumblr media
Diane seems less energetic since becoming a mother. She's settled down and has been shown to be gentle more often than bubbly, which was the impression she gave me in the original series. I'm assuming she hasn't fought since entering the Fairy Realm, too. She's put the stress of the Holy War behind her, and I'm happy that she seems content with her lots of babies. I wonder if she'll get to hear about Dolores once the current issues are over. I'm sure hearing she's Nasiens's adoptive big sister will be a shock. Diane deserves to know that.
Tumblr media
The way Tioreh says this makes me suspect Puck is the one behind Nasiens and Myrtel's switcheroo. He must really love that "prank" in that case. Regardless of who was behind it, though, that's actually fucked up. A fairy trolled their own king by swapping their first child with a human, probably knowing exactly what issues both kids would be put in. I can't call this just a prank. I love King to death, but his people are their own kind of awful...
Tumblr media
For this moment, let's glance back at how she reacted to that news at first.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tioreh must have been suspecting this the whole time Nasiens was here, but this reveal may be the moment she started to seriously believe it, if not when Nasiens admitted to feeling healthier in the Fairy Realm. After this, she started to open up about her siblings more and telling Nasiens that he's like them--especially like Phao. All of this is stuff that Nasiens didn't know about since he met her two years ago. All of the tension in this family over Nasiens and Myrtel has been building up for so long...and right now we're watching it all cave in. I'm sure King and Diane had good intentions for hiding the truth, but hiding it's not working anymore.
Tumblr media
And Diane knows it's not working anymore. I'm stuck on her asking "Is that bad for you?" Why is she asking that of all things? Is that what King and Diane were so worried about when they decided to never come out about this? Did they think their kids would be upset with having a human for an older brother?
Okay, but maybe that's not all that they considered. Maybe they got worried about how their people outside of their family would react to their theories being confirmed. If that happened, as unfortunate as it is, Mertyl would probably get more ostracized than he was. With that in mind, I'm sure his parents made that choice to protect him from some of the problems he'd inevitably go through. It's a nice thought that way, but this was still a bad call. They made too many assumptions of their own kids' feelings.
Tumblr media
In other news...Phao was lurking... Now they're all gonna know and clear up this misunderstanding with their parents, right?
Anyway, I feel like I've written too much for one post, so I'll go on about the rest of the chapter tomorrow. Closing this part with this:
