❤️ Crying…processing…shooketh. #forbes30under30 . Todays journal entry: My biggest dream just happened. One of my top goals just came true, and now my body is weak, and my head hurts in the best way possible, and I’m just trying to process how my life is going to change…well it’s changing every day but GAHT DAMN it’s a bout to go crazy now. I’m on the Forbes 30 under 30 list!!!!! The king of all young entrepreneurs lists in the WORLD, the list that’s harder to get into than HARVARD and I GOT IT! I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes thinking, “I’m so happy that I didn’t give up, despite all the people in life that told me to.” I’m grateful for the support that I was always able to find, whether it was feeling support by only one person, or feeling the support from millions (because honestly, the shift in “felling that support” can be so drastically different.) I’m gonna go blast “City Girls - Jobs” right now and get a fire Deliveroo order to celebrate right now. I’m still in shock lol, I can’t get over the names on that list. Next list I’m aiming for is the Forbes Billionaire list… I promise I won’t turn into a robot or lizard once I make it. Hahaaaaa. AHHHHH!!!!!! #forbes #forbesunder30 #forbes30under30europe #futurebillionaire #youngentrepreneurs #queerinfluencer #blackinfluencers #bgki #blackgirlmagic #londoninfluencer #lgbtcommunity #krystallake #djkrystallake #cutbykrystal #blackexcellence #30under30 #blackmedia https://www.instagram.com/p/CdGCPGAI__N/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Any buzz is good buzz
Artists continuing to produce top hit music and albums will keep their career in good standing despite controversy Fans or new listeners will see the new music being made and either join the fan base, begin to like the artist more, or start to attend concerts and buy merchandise.
Tumblr media
is it true that sometimes any buzz is good buzz? When artists experience any kind of controversy society or social media is bound to take one side or the other, cancel them or not cancel them. Especially with Astroworld, with lives being lost, it is a bigger issue than a small slip-up online. I think Travis is still able to continue a strong career because although it was his concert, it was not his direct fault, and he has made big steps to make the situation better.

How do we gage how much power to give social media influencers?
Tumblr media
Stars and rulers of the internet are a fairly new concept to us consumers. Within the past few years, social media apps like TikTok have become an all seeing media platform, giving creators on the app more power than we have seen in the last 10 years combined. But when did this start happening? Ultimately we, the consumers of the internet, are the ones giving the creators the power and the following. We have created a whole different social class where people can live behind their screens and get praised for it. Social class can be abstract, but is real enough where we can shoot people up to the spotlight and provide them with their income (Zweig 2000: 127). This in time has created many millionaires just from 15 second videos (Noah 2010: 137). These once ordinary people are now of a much higher economic status than they could have ever imagined. TikToker, Chase Hudson, has accumulated just over 30 million followers on the app alone from his joining in 2019. We have put creators like this on a pedestal and pushed them onto a higher social status, as seen here. Hudson has made his way onto the 'Forbes 30 under 30' list for 2022, a whole different media platform for celebrities (Forbes 2022). In recent years, this is the first time we have seen a category like this for social influencers on a huge company for well known and successful public figures.

IS JAY SHETTY ALSO A SCAM ? YOUTUBER ‘EXPOSES’ MASSIVE CONTENT THEFT.
Tumblr media
Is there yet another hero who has fallen from grace? Is Jay Shetty plagiarizing and repackaging information from a variety of places? IS JAY SHETTY ALSO A SCAM Jay Shetty is a name you've certainly heard somewhere if you've ever looked into the motivation and self-help areas on social media. Perhaps one of his films had a profound impact on your life. What if you discovered that someone who encouraged you to make a positive change in your life and do the right thing was stealing all of his remarks from someone else's mouth? Jay Shetty is a social media influencer who is British-Indian. He communicates with his followers on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter on a daily basis. Jay Shetty uses various channels to share thought-provoking videos and quotes. It's no secret that in the last several years of sharing and 'making' content on social media and speaking as a motivational speaker, Jay Shetty has landed on Forbes' '30under30' list, has amassed over two billion views on his produced content, and has made millions of dollars. But how much of Jay Shetty's content is genuinely his own?
Tumblr media
SO HERE’S WHAT WENT DOWN:
“Jay Shetty is just a professional meme reader.” Nicole Arbour on Jay Shetty Nicole Arbour, a well-known Canadian YouTuber and video creator, made alarming charges about the 'Urban Monk' on August 20th. Nicole released an eight-minute film detailing how Jay Shetty has been copying quotes and ideas from others and passing them off as his own. Nicole backs up her statements with lots of evidence in the video. "It's not like he uploaded someone else's meme; he crops out their name and replaces it with 'Jay Shetty,'" she claims. That's thievery." Nicole Arbour's charges against Jay Shetty center on his repeated theft of quotations for use in his social media posts and motivational speeches. In the video, she also provided proof that the quotations presented by Jay Shetty as his own were taken from people like Tony Robbins and Audrey Kitching. Similarly, audio recordings from numerous of his movies can be heard alongside quotations from world leaders such as India's former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Nicole hits the nail on the head when she presents a plagiarized Shetty quotation from a copy of Forbes(middle-east) magazine. If this is the case, it would be extremely concerning to see an incredibly popular publication ignore such fundamental fact-checking. Watch Nicole's video to see the full scope of the disturbing charges and judge for yourself whether or not they are true.
WHAT’S THE REACTION?
Nicole has received conflicting reactions to the video she published since it was released. Some users came out with their own examples and proof to establish that Jay Shetty is a cheater, while others seemed to argue that he was, after all, helping people and having a positive impact on their lives. shetty, jay Some users actively backed Shetty, saying that it doesn't matter where the content originates from as long as it is useful to others. Nicole and several of her followers were also concerned that after she posted the video, her messages were not reaching a large portion of her following. On Jay Shetty's Facebook page, other people have also expressed their dissatisfaction with the service. "It's so easy to enter in the stuff he pretends he made up and check who really said it…" Nicole suggested, advising viewers to google the quotes Jay Shetty posts to find out who said them first. "It's unethical to accept incentives for other people's property… It's just messed up to prey on weak individuals who need a spiritual pick-me-up."
CONCLUSION:
Jay Shetty has been dubbed "fake" by Nicole Arbour. Jay Shetty, she claimed, has been taking content from others for years and needs to stop. We'll leave it up to you to determine how you want to proceed. Jay Shetty is a well-known actor that has been around for a long time. During that period, he has created a great deal of work that has truly influenced many individuals. As a result, the issue isn't with the content. The stated issue here is not that Jay Shetty has frequently taken work from others and almost always fails to credit the legal owner of the content, but rather that he changes his name with the owners', as Nicole demonstrates in the video. Here's one last thought: If your effort has a positive impact on someone's life, it is truly a service to humanity. Taking credit for words you haven't stated, on the other hand, is what weak and unauthentic individuals do. And if you ever feel that you don't have the clout to raise your voice, don't give up; keep trying. Perhaps your words will inspire someone else to speak up. You've seen the video and read the comments and reactions; now it's up to you to do your homework and decide if Nicole is telling the truth or not. DID INSTGARAM RAISE MONEY ? WHO INVESTED IN INSTAGRAM ? IS JAY SHETTY ALSO A SCAM ? YOUTUBER ‘EXPOSES’ MASSIVE CONTENT THEFT. Read the full article

Timeless lessons on wealth greed and happiness
Timeless lessons on wealth greed and happiness
I just finished reading the most exiting, light and funny book I’ve ever read on finance. It’s called “The Psychology of money and written by Morgan Housel. Morgan is a blogger at The Motley Fool, an advisor at The Collaborative Fund, that lends advise to startups, and a writer for the Wall Street Journal. After finishing this good read , I realised I have sinned against quite a few of the…
