Reparto devastante dal punto di vista fisico, ma dopo solamente un giorno ho imparato moltissimo, ho fatto il mio primo EGA (prelievo arterioso), ho messo molti accessi venosi, fatto molti prelievi e molti ECG. Oggi ho il turno di pomeriggio e domani la notte, spero di arrivare a fine turnetto sana e salva.

CAVE OF EL CASTILLO: these handprints are from el castillo cave in spain. over 40,000 years old. they were made by blowing hand-ground pigments through a hollow reed or bone onto hands placed against the cave wall. for a long time it was assumed that most cave paintings were made by adult men. a recent effort by a group of archaeologists to digitally scan and compile these (and others in nearby cave systems) have shown that about 25% of the handprints belong to children. the process of loading and blowing the pigments was a difficult one, that would have had to be done by an adult. which means that this wall, and others like it, were entirely communal. these were places where adult prehistoric humans took the time to teach their children art. over thirty thousand years before gilgamesh was committed to written language. humans were committing their children’s handprints to stone. the way they must have valued their families, their communities, their art, to go through the process of making this art with them. and not only that, but just the sheer relatability of the action itself! if you transported 40,000 years in the past you’d have little in common on a high level with the humans you’d find. you can’t really talk about your data entry job with the hunter gatherer. but you’d still get a kick out of blowing ground ochre pigment over your hand onto a cave wall. and they’d get a kick out of helping you do it. humans have always been humans. doesn’t it just make you want to fall to your knees at walmart, how beautiful it all is?  (source for nerds who care, like me: https://news.artnet.com/art-world/children-worlds-first-artists-new-study-finds-quarter-prehistoric-spanish-hand-paintings-kids-13-2084734/amp-page) (isawken)

ciao!! domanda su mimmo. quindi ha 18 anni e un anno circa in più di simone? io l’ho capita così visto che l’hanno mandato nel carcere per adulti, da minorenne non avrebbero potuto (so che sono scemi alla rai ma almeno qualcosa da mare fuori l’avranno colto)

Allora anon su questo sono abbastanza sicura, nel senso che appunto essendo stato trasferito immagino di sì (anche se vi dirò, non è proprio mandatorio che fatti i 18 anni si vada in un istituto per adulti, visto che negli ipm ci si può stare fino ai 24 anni ma sorvoliamo), però da quello che mi è parso di capire hanno magicamente fatto diventare maggiorenni tutti quindi non ti so dire benissimo le differenze di età

I'm glad I procrastinated on getting the Shin Ultraman blu ray because apparently they've absolutely bungled the subtitles and are currently working to fix it.

Once it's fixed and Shin Kamen Rider gets a physical release I'll probably do a little movie night with those and Shin Godzilla

L'altro ieri sono usciti i reparti per il primo tirocinio del 3° anno, tutti felici e contenti di essere entrati in un reparto di Area Critica (Pronto soccorso, rianimazione, piastra trauma, triage, trapianti ecc..) . Io felicissima di essere capitata nel reparto "Primo Lattanti", per capirci, bambini da 1 mese a 11/12 mesi di vita. Era dal primo anno che desideravo capitare in un reparto pediatrico e finalmente è arrivato il mio momento. Anche perché in questo semestre ho molto da studiare e sinceramente, un reparto tranquillo, mi serviva proprio. Poi, che per l'ennesima volta probabilmente imparerò poco, non è discutibile, però mi va bene così. In tutto ciò inizio il 31 con mattina, quindi smonterò dalla notte venerdì e riposerò sabato. Come prima settimana direi che mi è andata di lusso. Speriamo sia un bel reparto.
