While I much prefer to make brighter minis, I’ve always wanted a go at trying todo a Turnip28 mini. While it’s still brighter than most lol, I’m really happy with it’s style and basing.
Turnip28 is a grimdark setting where root-vegetable people fight each other in muddy lands, he’s a carrot man!
When a barrel wizard's spell goes wrong, it's possible for them to be trangsmogrified, along with anyone near by. This fellow was astride his horse, and now wanders eternally - seeking blood.
An old project I'm particularly happy with. I pretend it's for Frostgrave (or Mordheim?), but I've no clue what I'd use it for!
Many band of mercenaries have hunted down this unholy scavenger in the swamps around Ütteghau. Its massive size and the horrible scratching sounds it makes, like a rusty axe dragged on a sharpening stone, make the Horror easy to find. But neither the Eelers cunning trap nor the Velvet Sleeve's firepower was enough to take it down.
I am honoured to be featured in 28's International Women's Day 2022 special. You can download a PDF for free here to check out some other awesome women within the Miniature, RPG and tabletop space!

Over on Insta there's a female space marine challenge going on. 28 Magazine is sponsoring it and some of the most talented and skilled people in the hobby are getting into it. Here's the link to this one so you can see the extra pics.
warhammer fanzine 28mag released it’s first issue. great reports on inq28 and aos28 along with beautiful miniatures. can be downloaded from their page.
The Engine walks! The Garden of Agartha is painted!
The Garden of Agartha is an Engine of 'House Catspaw'.
The shield is from Taro Model Maker, and the face is made from Sculpty clay.
I identify it with the '28' / Blanchitsu movement - depressing, grimey, destaurated with the odd blobs of colour. Converted and kitbashed to look, yknow, creepy and grimdark. Cool cool.
Gonna get some armigers eventually to go with him, but that's a while off.
This posse is a kind of wild-west meets classic fantasy necromancy. From left to right; a big boned farmer, a vampiric mayor, the priest who found the old gods’ bones to revive them, a Frankensteined Undertaker, and an animated set of armour possessed by the town’s blacksmith.
I wanted a proper grimdark set of minis for Forbidden Psalm, a game that’s compatible with Mork Borg that I’ve been getting really into.
One of the darkest sets of miniatures I’ve ever painted, here’s an example of the colour balance;
(As you can see here how small my miniatures usually are, Northstar on left, Gamesworkshop on right).
I was contacted via Instagram by one of the 28mag editors to participate in their latest ‘zine, one dedicated for International Women’s Day.
While my feature is probably the least interesting lol, if you want to see more more female miniature artists it’s definitely worth a look, you can find it here, there’s lots of amazing miniature art inside https://28-mag.com
