When it was time to clean up I really looked at what I was about to throw away. I had all these tiny pieces that looked completely different to me since starting this new artistic process. Had a father/son duo in the shop this past weekend for a knife class. To say they knocked it out of the park would be to use an analogy to a sport I know nothing about. They did all the rough forging, flattening and smoothing, grinding the profile, and put in the rough bevels. Then they did the heat treat. I finished the bevels and sharpened up the blade just now. What a looker.
