I was wondering if you heard about the series Gap, from Thailand. It’s honestly such a sweet story, centered on two women. And the just did not expect it to me my favorite show of last few years, but it honestly gave everything I wished Mades Solo Hay Dos had. It was so unapologetically focused on the story between the two mains. I really glad that this wasn’t a typical western show, and that it was so amazing. As a bisexual Latina, I was so disappointed in MSHD choices in season two.
Season three felt like they panicked a bit about being too gay or forward with the relationship between the main couple. And whatever they did with Mariana was all over the place. I did reach the final episode and believed that Mariana didn’t settled for Ana, after breaking up with Feran. There were some weird choices in the plot and story. Which is why I love the story of Gap. It never moves away from the two main characters. Here is to hoping I get my gay telenovela one day.
Heh, I have heard of Gap, it's still very much on my to-watch list! Maybe I should have joined in while it was airing but I guess it's too late now. Is there gonna be a season 2?
Yeah, MSHD, it's a rare feeling to get endgame with the two lead women and still feel disappointed but here we are. It definitely felt like they intentionally drew back from the love story, wanting it more to be a family comedy and then realizing what made the most sense for the story but not committing. The Rich Man's Daughter had the same issue, a very gay premise and then pulling back once faced with the reality. Hopefully we'll get more shows in all kinds of media that'll not be so afraid to center the main same-sex couples.

"Artemis IV Pressure Vessel and Artemis II European Service Module.
Seen here is the pressure vessel for the Artemis IV mission inside the Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Feb. 21, 2023. The pressure vessel is the underlying structure of the Orion crew module, containing the pressurized atmosphere astronauts will breathe and work in while in the vacuum of deep space. Artemis IV will be the first operational mission to Gateway – an outpost in lunar orbit serving as a staging point for deep space exploration – followed by a week-long surface mission on the Moon. Using Gateway, NASA will develop a long-term presence on the Moon, using this as a steppingstone before venturing on to Mars."
