This is my amazing partner. He’s sweet, caring, loving, understanding and treats me so good. He’s what I’ve been searching for. He’s been patient with me as I work through traumas. He’s been supportive of my dreams..

Well, I haven’t told my parents about him. Not because I’m embarrassed of him. It’s the exact opposite honestly. I want the world to see him. The reason I haven’t told them is because they 100% won’t approve of us. They don’t approve of interracial relationships. That being said, I don’t need my parents’ approval to date someone. I just… don’t want them to treat him poorly. And I won’t stand for it… They’re coming to visit in a couple weeks and I’m nervous…
