My meditation occurred in a depth of mind that I have long outgrown. Every now then, I have meditations like last night’s meditation. All the gathered free life energies spend themselves in restoring balance to the part of the body that needs their healing presence.

Sometimes the reason has been the onset of a cold, other times it has been a family celebration stretched through an entire day, yet other times it has simply been eating out or overdoing a simple housekeeping task. Whatever be the reason, when a body part struggles to a mildly upset balance, life energies spend themselves over the body part.

In a body free of imbalances, blessed life energies carve a route up the spine, into the head and an exit out of the head. Right now, in the present phase of my decades old practice, gathered life energies are carving a pathway from the centre of my head to the forehead. It will probably take Blessed Energies a few rounds of going back and forth between those 2 points before the floodgates of the spiritual third eye is opened somewhere in the forehead.

Meanwhile, I will have meditations like last night. Life energies will gather to meditate but they will find an imbalance that has to restored. They will proceed to restore the imbalance they have detected.

October 17, 2023 - Day 120

Excited to get into this coffee.

A hard day at work today. Very challenging and daunting and my spidey senses were right to be tingling - so much stuff was kicking off today and I'm glad I handled things as I did. I was polite and professional and I think I need to sit down tomorrow and speak to my supervisor to get my head straight. It was such a challenging job. I drove home, ended up turning off the radio at the final half home just so I could have some peace, and didn't have any alcohol despite the temptation. I drank lots of water and got in to my cozies. H was very complementary of how I looked in my work clothes which was a personal highlight of the day but I don't like to chill out in them! Watched a game show and a cartoon with H and was able to have a laugh. Then when he went to bed I finally felt I was fully relaxed and watched my intense drama I watch on my own and was able to cry at a wedding episode.

I realise more and more that while I like hanging out with people I also get a hell of a lot out of silence and I guess what I would term boredom, like not even listening to music or browsing social media but just eating a meal alone with very low stimulation. Maybe it's because I use my brain so much at my job and by the end of a day like today my head just feels like it's full of blood and throbbing and I need to stop using it.

Ah, time travel, a permanent favorite trope of mine.

This story is well constructed and seems to actually have some sort of plan rather than going in completely blind. I like where this is going too.

The characters remain in character, which sometimes gets thrown out the window in time travel stories.

Pity it’s been more than a year since last updated, but what can you do, a good story is a good story.
