FINALLY after many months of hard work between the artists & zine team, I am able to show you MY piece for the official ( unofficial ) WORDGIRL ZINE, commemorating it’s 15th anniversary!

this show has carried me the past couple years & is WELL worth the watch for anyone curious, & with it comes a BOUNTIFUL, extremely WELCOMING fanbase that MIRACULOUSLY flourishes even 15 years after it’s original debut ( goes to show you how good it is, you know! ), & thus, today we celebrate!

FIFTEEN YEARS...INSANE WHAT DO YOU MEAN WORDGIRL IS ONLY 3 DAYS YOUNGER THAN MIKU???? i don’t even know where to start. i wanted to fit as many characters as i reasonably could into this piece, but i didn’t have ideas for all of them so some are missing and also some were cut for time reasons, but all of them deserved to be here honestly. there’s so much thought put into each character in this show.

some slight details i wanted to bring up: maria and eileen’s friendship is an obvious one, dupey and the butcher, leslie smiling at mr big (i just think its really cute), and my favourite of all: seymour’s mom made the cake for the event.

for the short amount of time (like. a year) that i’ve been into this show it’s meant a lot to me. i think this is maybe my favourite animated show ever and adding onto that lady redundant woman has to be one of my favourite fictional characters ever and probably like my 2nd favourite fictional villain. i think her entire gimmick being cloning is so fun and she reminds me of an oc i made for a college project last year that i think i subconsciously based on her. she’s the main reason i chose to include royal dandy in this piece because their dynamic is so funny to me. if i had more time there’s so much more i honestly would’ve wanted to include and i am planning on doing another piece also for the anni, but that probably won’t be finished for a short while and definitely not today.

if for whatever reason u read all of this hi! i love this show.
