Priscilla let out a sigh, rolling her eyes as she eventually relented. The things she was willing to do simply because it was them. She only wished that they didn't insist on dragging her along to these random events. "Alright, okay—I'll go with you to this. But I can’t promise there won’t be mild complaining." Another sigh left her lips. "I swear, this is the last time you convince me to go with you to one of these things."

Closed Starter: Zara & Yvonne ( @indieforbee )
Zara stepped into her best friend’s family home. She’d had a spare key of ages so it wasn’t uncommon and nobody would be surprised to see her there. Not that that mattered seeing as she had been told no one was home. Catherine was running late coming back from the gym so she ha been told to let herself in. Funnily enough, when she came in, she heard the shower running. Maybe her best friend had come back early. She walked down the hall and saw the door was ajar. Zara and Catherine were close enough that she felt comfortable poking her head in, just to say hello, “I thought you said you were going to be-” But then she gasped when she saw that it wasn’t Catherine at all but rather her mother, Yvonne. She probably had her head in the doorway for a moment too long or several moments too long, “Oh my gosh, I’m so, I mean I...” She moved away from the door and quickly moved into the living room. She sat down on the sofa and tried to get the image out of her head. She couldn’t. It was burned into her brain and she was sure it wasn’t in a bad way. She heard footsteps, “Yvonne, I am so sorry. I thought you were Catherine, I swear. I didn’t mean to...” She was indeed very apologetic and also completely embarrassed. She bit her lip, trying not to ramble too much but feeling the need to keep apologising.
