Just got back from watching Guardians of the Galaxy 3, AKA my first loves in life
I don’t care much for Marvel anymore, but holy shit that has got to be their best movie ever, it had me on the verge of an anxiety attack like 24/7, and I cried from every emotion possible, even emotions I didn’t know I had
Really just wraps everything up nicely. I was 12/13 when I watched the first Guardians of the Galaxy, around 15/16 when I watched the second one, and now here I am, 21, having pretty much grown up with these movies
Must, must, must see. I love it more than Jaskier, if that gives it any perspective lmao

🗣🚨 YAOI ALERT 🚨🗣
[TEXT: Neelix took a seat next to Tuvok. He hoped the Vulcan would make some comment about his story, but a long silence ensued. Neelix found himself feeling unaccountably nervous, reading into Tuvok's silence a general disapproval - and yet, what could he expect? From the moment they first met, Tuvok had been aloof and judgmental.
Nonetheless, his opinion mattered to Neelix, and so, inwardly chastising himself for doing so, he turned to the somber man.
"So, Mr. Vulcan...what did you think of my story?"
Another silence. Neelix felt himself begin to perspire. Why wasn't Tuvok answering him? Had he embarrassed himself that fully? He felt his heart beating in his chest.
"I know I've done some awful things in my life," he stammered, "but I've tried to make up for them. I hope you won't hold what I've told you against me..." He trailed off lamely, his words sounding hollow.
Tuvok turned slowly to look at him, his dark visage glistening in the heat of the setting sun. His eyes seemed to pierce Neelix's brain. He stared like that for a full moment before he spoke.
"I found it an exceptional story. You have complexities, and courage, I would never have imagined."
Neelix couldn't believe what he was hearing - Tuvok was actually complimenting him! He felt a little shiver of pleasure, but he couldn't for the life of him think of anything to say in return...]

I wrote a thing for @battybat604's beautiful (and brain rotting and haunting and amazing and-) art. You should, yaknow, check it out, if you like slightly possessive Clark and petty, little shit behavior from Bruce :)
Summary: Bruce has been acting weird all week and when Clark sees him at the gala they're both attending, he has a hard time keeping himself in check. Because of course Bruce chooses tonight to show just how much of a brat he can be.
Excerpt: It’s not often that Clark snaps. But even the most flexible people will encounter someone who makes them feel less like a spring and more like a twig held a little too tightly. So easily breakable, snapping more often than not in the pressure of their hands. That person for Clark is Bruce Wayne.

realizing its February is actually so crazy like somehow 2 whole years have passed i told myself when things finally ended i was going to let myself move on immediately because of how much of my life was taken away from me and obviously that was just so dumb and delusional i’m still pretty much completely frozen and way too afraid to let anyone close to me i just can’t let anyone see me while at the same time desperately wanting someone to see me its so fucking frustrating and the more time that passes the more impossible it seems that i’ll ever give myself another chance to have the things i want

Today I'm ruminating on Lena's oh so important relationship with the Blackwatch boys. Cole and Genji being the closest to her in age, aside from Angela maybe, Lena being the last of the child soldiers that Overwatch recruited for the strike teams. Them watching the cycle repeat one more time with the plucky pilot that's been flying since she was 12, and a soldier since 16, recruited on for one hopeless mission. How she looked up to them so much to guide her in the right direction, how she latched onto them as confidantes and family moreso than other members of the team. Overwatch thrust her into the spotlight, with her name and picture slapped across every picture until Tracer became the persona that everyone looked to, but with Cole and Genji she could just be Lena. She missed being Lena.

woagh… you have no idea how big of an honor it is for me to be requested to draw someones blorbo.
also hai :3 and thank you very much :33 i love making the blorbos creature looking.
this was also a good wake up call that i do not draw Alex NEARLY as much as i should.
i kind of wanted to draw half-dead Alex, but i have not earned that responsibility yet 😔 so instead i did one of those “his ass is NOT ___” memes
versions w/o the text and guitar under cut

I'm making a separate post bc I kind of sent myself down a rabbit hole. I wanna clarify that I am a Big Hozier Fan and that most country music is a different lyrical ballpark entirely bc of the nature of the genre. (If I had to describe it I'd say it's more literal and storytelling than the whole, like, in-the-woods poetry thing hozier's got going on.)
Anyway I tried to find some that have the same kind of poetry to them or at least aren't about dirt roads and, like, alcoholism. (this is very hard to do there are so many songs about drowning your sorrows in alcohol. I think maybe that's a bad thing but what do I know about songwriting)
Zach Bryan - Something in the Orange
Ryan Bingham - Wolves
Deana Carter - Strawberry Wine
Chris Stapleton - Tennessee Whiskey
Brooks and Dunn - Neon Moon
Uncle Lucius - Keep The Wolves Away
Juice Newton - Angel of the Morning
Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down
The Band Perry - All Your Life
Lee Ann Womack - I Hope You Dance
Josh Turner - Would You Go With Me
I also have a few that I think just have generally clever lyrics that you probably won't enjoy very much if you don't like country music:
Rodney Atkins - If You're Going Through Hell
Sugarland - It Happens
Jessica Andrews - Who I Am
Billy Currington - People are crazy
Blake Shelton - Honeybee
Tim McGraw - Just to See You Smile
