Saw Saturday came early! (Aka my friend and I are doing something else on Saturday so we got together and watched Saw III on Thursday instead) More thoughts from me about the movie
I feel like this movie REALLY made a big gore jump. Saw II already had a big jump from the original but this one… Jesus Christ. I worry that sometimes the traps get a bit too gruesome for their own good? We’ll have to see the later movies to see how my opinion develops on this topic
I was surprisingly okay with the angel trap? Idk it’s definitely a horrifying thought but I think there was just a very big disconnect in how that would feel/play out and the over the topness of it all made me able to watch it. Very creative though I will give them that.
Going along with that, rip Kerry. The start of the movie I was so ready for her to be like the dual protagonist of the movie and then she was not. I thought it coulda been kinda interesting but I get that wasn’t really the plot direction they were going with it
Generally enjoyed the character of Lynn! I wish I could’ve learned a little bit more about her before the end of the movie, but I get they were setting up the twist of her being Jeff’s wife so they had to keep things vague. At the same time, the absolute BALLS on her to threaten and taunt Amanda with that shotgun collar around her neck? She’s an icon for that
Lynn and Amanda could have been toxic yuri, if only they were given more time!!! I mean they *were* toxic yuri, but I’m saying in another life we got even more with them
Jeff sucks. Really really hated Jeff. And he wasn’t even fun to hate, I just hated him. Like dude I get you’re going through grief and fucked up because your kid died but come ON (Lynn, at this point the toxic yuri is looking like a better option for you than that sad sack of a husband)
The pig guts vat trap didn’t bother me like at all lol I’ve seen a few lists about traps and this one tends to be towards the top but it was whatever to me from both a story and shock value perspectives Like I like the idea of a psychological trap where the person being tested doesn’t have to hurt themself physically but rather has to do something insanely hard emotionally, but man. Jeff sucks so much that I didn’t even care about his internal conflict about destroying his dead son’s possessions. I was just sitting there screaming “hit the fucking incinerator button already.” Also yeah, rotting meat is gross but seeing it thinking about it doesn’t make me ill. The thing is, this was the trap my friend had the hardest time watching without a doubt. Different strokes for different folks
The hardest trap for me in this movie was the rack. I feel like I don’t need to explain why. I didn’t even attempt to watch any of it. As soon as the explanation was given, I turned my head and dutifully put my hand shield up lol. My friend was nice enough to give me the general play by play of the scene, but just listening to it was a lot
I liked seeing more Amanda in this movie and her character of someone who believes that John saved her life by putting her in a trap, but then can’t actually live and abide by that same code when it comes time to take up his work
(And she also falls into her own self destructive tendencies, despite being “saved” by John, showing how fucked up and flawed his own philosophy actually is)
Did enjoy seeing Adam again even if it was literally only in a flashback where Amanda is killing him
Also enjoyed the puppet again. He always makes me laugh and my friend finds it funny that I find him funny. Like that part where he’s just laying in the hallway with the trike? It got me so good
Curious to see where the movies go now that both John AND Amanda are dead. My guess is that John had some sort of contingency/final game that he wants to be played upon his death. This would mean that there’s at least one other apprentice running around who will carry out this game for him
There are only two people I’m aware of who we’ve been introduced to and have survived a game: Lawrence Gordon and Daniel Matthews (though he wasn’t really being tested but also he was in the death house so?? Close enough) so I think it’s gotta be one of them. I’m leaning more towards Daniel but idkkkkkk I’m not getting strong vibes from either of them that they’d join John like Amanda did. My friend is also keeping her lips staunchly sealed so I’m floundering like a fish here
Things I’m excited for/wanting to see in future installments: finding out who the next Jigsaw is, hoping for a little more focus on trap victims so I care about them getting out, the gay middle aged men (HoffStrahm), and more of the puppet

Purpose: full obidience of Daisei, eliminate defective clones and foregein matter (Yuris og team interferamfe aka clouds with will). Known second stages: Archangel (evil),Miiko mask, Mayuko, Tenma,Maid. Status with second stage: Mayu and Tenma: truce. Miiko and Archeangel: Enemies. Maid: Deceased. Low chances of a truce with those stages, but possible.
Third stage. Purpose:ELIMINATE MATSUDA SENYA. Merciless killers as the triumph card of Daisei. Use a huge amount of energy creating them. Huge potential, low ratio of victory against any 3rd stage, to the point the Sniper Mask found the enemy too dangerous for Senya and tried to stop him,but failed. Alliance is impossible. Designed to kill Senya and Senya only. Only member of the stage: Deva/Evil Sniper. Senya called him a monster.
Okay so about his power is too much. as you see in the pannel, Senya and sniper noodle are too shocked. Senya calls him a monster,but might be a reference chapter 3 as he called the angels monster, and Deva is the clone based in Sniper's time of him being a mask.
He even has an aura. All Stage soldiers has that aura ngl, but lets see the comparison.
The aura seems to active under a emotional state. But in Devas its latent over there. He is not charging up,he is literally standing and Senya is already affraid.
Now this...is the part you may not like. Remmeber who else made that trembling efect. Thats right....

I can very well imagine them insinuating a kiss but not directly showing us. Like to imagine that we might get it akin to the "kiss" in yuri on ice (you know, where victor jumps at yuuri and their faces are all close but the shoulder/arm was in the way). Or maybe we wont see their faces but just see lwj leaning in or whatever and later see that wwx lips are swollen and red. I'm pretty sure they will at least give us a nod towards it.
yeah I think the kiss being similar to yuri on ice is def on the cards, or what you described, lan wangji leaning in and then insinuating the kiss. or it seems really likely for it to be shown from wwx’s POV, as it has already been mentioned. unless the staff surprises us and we get an actual kiss LOL srsly i don’t know much about the censorship and how much they are allowed to show
BUT i’m gonna be real, in my opinion the donghua has portrayed extremely well lan wangji’s pining. his sorrow and longing for wwx is really palpable in the last few episodes. i mean jesus fucking christ, if you look at some gifs you can still feel the Pain i s2g. so i’m sure that if they show the kiss in whatever way they will go all out with the lwj pining aka we’re all gonna die!!

This is going to be a LONG post of all the holiday portraits I took of my family during this Christmas season. If you’re into pulling out family portraits and reminiscing or learning about someone’s family events, you will enjoy this.
I am that person. Haha! I Thoroughly enjoy hearing about people’s families and their histories or how they celebrate together.
Weeks’s Christmas Tree Decorating Party!
Because my parents technically live in a “tiny apartment”, we have tiny trees. They’re super easy to decorate and super cute, but my favorite part is my family and the food. Haha!

Every year my Mama’s side of the family gets together for Christmas. Nanny and all her kids and all their kids and all their kids’ kids get together and eat and exchange gifts. This year my aunt Ann and John couldn’t be with us, and my cousin Luke was in Florida. They were crazy missed, and I’m hoping next year we can all be together again.

If you’ve made it this far, I’m honestly shocked. The holiday season is exhausting for me, but it is my favorite time of the year too. This is JUST the Christmas celebration portraits. I haven’t even talked about the birthdays.
My birthday is 2 days after Christmas. We celebrated eating Indian food. It was SO good! And then 2 days after my birthday is my Aunt Fay and my cousin Luke’s birthday. And then 2 days after that is Mama’s birthday AND it’s New Years Eve.
Christmas time is hard. It’s a whirlwind, but I’m thankful for these people in my life and I’m thankful for such a large family.
This past year my uncle Chris passed away, and we all miss him terribly. His passing though made me realize just how important portraits are of my family. The documentation process is everything. Usually I’m always photographing other people’s families with my DSLR and only using my phone for portraits of mine. But the more I think on it, the more I realize that I am a huge contributor to educating future generations on how our family was and who our family is. And I think it is insanely important for more people to document their families as much as possible from their own perspective. You only have your family once.
This next year, I want to document more of my family as well as my clients’ families. I love being a memory keeper. I just need to remind myself to keep my memories too.
I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and I hope everyone took tons of portraits and held their darlings close!

Nameless & Musical Theatre
I decided to just do the rest of the cheritz games for my own self indulgent purposes ^^ Since Eri is the playable character (despite having her own personality) I will not be doing her. Sorry in advance for these being shorter than the mysme ones. These boys just aren’t as developed as mysme boys or dandelion boys because you don’t spend as much time w them

oh ha ha velma start w the music teacher
Yuri lives for the theatre of course
Especially since there’s music
He lives for the music from Hamilton and Heathers
He thinks it’s absolute genius the way Lin incorporated hip hop
And that guitar in Heathers
He could go on and on about these shows and their use of music
He could also go on and on about shows he doesn’t like
Namely Dear Evan Hanson
He thinks the show is too “pop-y” despite it’s sad lyrics
Could use a little more musical variety to him
While Hamilton and Heathers are his faves
Nothing can beat Jesus Christ Superstar in his eyes
That’s the pinnacle of theatre in his mind
The music is phenomenal and the costuming is ingenious
He loves it all
He does love older shows like Phantom of the Opera
He thinks their singing is impeccable
Wishes he could be a Broadway star some day
Wants to be Judas from Jesus Christ Superstar more than he wants to breathe
Maybe then Eri would come see his shows
TEI
He’s a fan of musical theatre
But you won’t catch him singing show tunes or listening to them outside of the theatre itself
Definitely not as invested as some of the others
Rather than just listening to the soundtrack he prefers to see it live
Then he gets the full experience with the lights and the acting
He doesn’t mind the others singing show tunes though
Unless, like Red, they sing it obnoxiously
Then it’s only a matter of time before Lance throws his slipper at him
Tei would definitely splurge to take Eri to see a show
Even if it’s just a community theatre gig
Then Yeonho or Red or both would make him feel bad about not taking the rest of them too
So before long they’re all sitting in the house of a community theatre rendition of Rent or something
Tei hates the guys for ruining his date with Eri
LANCE
Much like Tei, he prefers to get the full experience
Maybe after a show he’ll buy the soundtrack
But he wants to know what he’s getting for his money first
Is the one person who wouldn’t mind being an ensemble character
Doesn’t think he can sing or dance that well
But when he puts his mind to something…
Let’s just say he’ll be rewarded with the lead in the next show
Will throw his slipper at anyone singing show tunes in an obnoxious manner
“Why’d you do that?!”
“Sing it right or don’t sing at all.”
To which Yuri says “I think I’m okay with this rule”
Always wants Eri to do scenes with him as if they were in the musical
Only sings show tunes with Eri as a duet
So of course In the Heights is his favorite musical to sing with Eri
They can be Benny and Nina or Usnavi and Vanessa
Also likes Bonnie and Clyde
Because duh she’s Bonnie and he’s Clyde
After his newfound love for theatre he sees every one of Red’s shows
But dips out before Red can see him
Red definitely saw him

He really only enjoys the musicals geared towards younger audiences
We’re talking Lion King, Matilda, The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee
He just connects more easily to these
Especially if they have slightly depressing undertones
Or really great lessons or a fantastic story line
That was totally describing all three of those musicals in order
He also really likes fun musicals though
Like Pippin
He loves that show because it’s just so fun
Shinbi told him Chicago was also pretty fun
He still hasn’t listened to it
He’s too busy studying every detail of Pippin
Yeonho loves listening to Eri sing show tunes
Always begs her to sing a song before he sleeps

This boy has so much energy
Always cast as lead because of is energy and his decent voice
So he loves shows with a lot of energy
AKA shows with lots of dance numbers

Learns all choreography numbers in like two succ
His favorite show is West Side Story
The dances are insane and he wants to be in it so badly
He thinks the story is cute too

I was really surprised by Red’s route! My big mistake was comparing him to Saeyoung. Despite being high-energy redheads with a “justice” motif, the two have very different personalities! Saeyoung still wins, though. He’ll always be my #1 troubled cheritz boy.
Second most improved was Lance, who struck me as a huge dick as a first impression. Little did I know I was in store for a True Tsundere experience! I’m all about the classic Tsundere, that changes over time rather than a cold-exterior-with-a-soft-doki-center. There’s nothing like watching a character gradually warming up to you!!!! God bless also kinda kinky with the marking thing danm
Yuri’s route didn’t redeem him for me. Tei’s route did. The fact that he signed himself up to be the villain to encourage Tei to get his shit together really surprised me. He’ll always be my least favorite because he continually makes MC uncomfortable and enjoys it and I think that’s Gross. Yuri why does MC have to hit you to get you to back off. Thank god for Lance who throws shit at him all the time. (AKA the Fuckboy Annihilator.)
Okay but did we really have to use the my-previous-owner-abused-me-so-now-I’m-fucked-up plot for two different dolls? there are SO MANY potential BJD plots. MC unwittingly buying a recast and the doll dealing with the identity crisis that comes with that. A doll with parts of various brands who feels incomplete or faulty or something? Hell, a doll with a GOOD previous owner that he still has some residual attachments to? Both Yeonho and Tei have basically the same plot that manifests in different ways.
I know that they wouldn’t just let Tei be the Good Boy. Like he was so good and kind in everyone else’s routes that they were gonna fuck him up in some way in his route... but did it have to be so creepy? One Yandere per game pls Cheritz thanks... Yeonho was enough....
I still love him I can’t unlove him. These boys need feckin therapy why isn’t there some sort of therapy where like ‘listen you’re not gonna believe this situation but ignore this part and let me talk about the actual problem’
I think that sums up my thoughts on the game p well. That the boys need Therapy and idfk how the post-game situation is going to work. Everyone needs therapy tbh.

Oh man, this one is easy. Our story begins a few years ago, when I realized that my laptop could do keyboard shortcuts. I thought this was cool and so I started programming a bunch in. And, because I was 14, these mainly had to do with various inside jokes among my friends, including one of my best friends, Ray aka @getupanddothething. Now, Ray was trying to get me to watch Supernatural, and one of their selling points was Castiel, the so called “hot gay angel.” I promise, this will be relevant in just a second.
Let us move forward to March of 2016, when I first became friends with @gayacejohnlaurens et al. We all have this giant-ass group Kik chat, and so I was in there with them all chatting. And the thing is, since I have an iPhone and iCloud is a weird ass motherfucker, a lot of those keyboard shortcuts from whenever ago transferred over to my iPhone.
So you can imagine how embarrassing it must have been when my clumsy ass fingers accidentally typed “jfhga” instead of whatever the hell I had meant to write, and pressed send before I realized that it had autocorrected to “Jesus fucking hot gay angels.”

Someone who can make me laugh, who will let me infodump to them, who will go back and forth with me on politics and fandoms and discourse, who will let me help them when they’re in trouble, and if they’re queer or neurodivergent or both, that’s always a plus!
