The Carnival’s In Town - Cable/Nathan Summers x Reader

‘’Can we PLEASE go?’’

You tugged Nathan’s hand towards the poster – flapping carelessly in the dry, hot summer breeze, kept in place only by one poorly hammered nail on its’ top edge. The poster’s clipart of a shiny Ferris wheel in the background had caught your eye; glinting under the bright sunlight as the poster pulsated against the wind.

You thought some fresh air out of the mansion would do you both some good – and you were right. The light breeze, the sunlight warm against the surface of your skin – all the right ingredients for a nice walk – as you trod along the garden with your boyfriend next to you – barefoot on the soft grass – toes wide and exploring, as you gently wade through the blades; just to get a feel of the Earth beneath you.

Nathan hadn’t rejected your offer of taking off your shoes – which was a huge surprise on its’ own, and here you were – hand in hand, feet free and roaming, now looking at the carnival poster.

‘’What? Aren’t you too old for this?’’ He asks incredulously, taking a look at the poster then back at you.

‘’No one’s too old for the carnival, Nate!’’ You argue, eyes wide and hopeful. You bring up his hand, big and relenting, to your chin, clasping it between your two hands. ‘’Pleeeease? It’s been so long! I promise I’ll win something for you!’’

You give him your biggest puppy-dog eyes, as Nathan watches your pleas – like a parent would a child – head tilted, face set into a soft, thin-lipped ‘’do we really have to?’’, followed by a few moments of deliberation. When he finally closes his eyes, he lets out a deep breath of surrender –

and there it was.

You let out a victorious squeal, and launch yourself at him into a hug, and Nathan only chuckles at your child-like enthusiasm – his eyes smile and crinkle up in the way they do when you know he’s truly happy and most comfortable; his usual taut and rough demeanor nowhere to be seen.

‘’I better get the biggest prize in there, Puddin’. Else, you got a pretty big price to pay.’’ He raises his brow at you, lips pulled into a smirk – which you end up mirroring back to him.

You salaciously walk two fingers from his stomach and up to his chest, getting your face in real close as you do. You lower your voice into a seductive whisper, ending the last syllable inches away from his ear – ‘’Well, experience tells me that I’m well-equipped for that.’’

Nathan feels his heart rate rise tenfold with every move of your fingers, and when you finally opened your mouth, the words seemed to burst an electric socket in his stomach – the heat moving up to his cheeks.

But Nathan wasn’t one to be teased.

Not without repercussions.

He tilts his head close to yours, a smug arrogance flashing in his eyes as he brings up a hand to your face, placed right under your chin, his thumb slowly running over the edges of your lips – his touch just light enough to make it seem like a million sparks on the most sensitive parts. ‘’Oh yeah, Doll?’’ His voice gravelly against your ears, a strong feeling lifts with desire in your chest; as his other hand has somehow found its place on your waist. ‘’You really wanna test that out again?’’

Your smile widens, eyes narrowing as you push him and his advances away; A hearty laugh escaping you, as he grabs you from behind, lifting you up into the air. ‘’Oh, you think you could get away that easy?’’ His fingers skillfully make contact with the one place of your weakness, and within seconds you’re wheezing and squirming as Nathan tickles you into oblivion – no signs of stopping anytime soon.

‘’Oh God, Nate! Stop– No!’’ You try grabbing for his hands, but he maneuvers over them like a pro.

‘’Should’ve paid more attention when you were sparring with me, huh baby?’’ He razzes around you, his fingers dancing across your most touchy spots, mapped out in his head and hands like his childhood home.

‘’OKAY! OKAY! I GIVE! YOU WIN!’’ You heave and laugh, and when he doesn’t let go, you bring out your secret weapon.

Digging your heels into the ground, you lift yourself off and crash against Nathan, who’s caught off-guard and loses his footing – and you both go down, falling onto the soft, still dewy grass with a graceful thud.

As you come to nice position over Nathan, straddling over his waist – pinning him down by his wrists – you let your face hover over his.

‘’Truce?’’ Nathan offers, his lips twisting into a yielding smile.

‘’Oh, not that easy, big guy.’’ You lower yourself closer to him, noses brushing for a second, before your lips meet in succession; gentle puckering and pushing of soft skin – somehow cool even under the increasingly sweltering heat – that was meant for kisses like these.

You pull away as you feel yourself getting breathless, catching a breath before breaking the silence with a smirk and a statement.

‘’Now we’re even.’’

You roll over in your nice cozy bed, the soft wool wrapped snug around you, as Nathan’s arm holds you close by your stomach – his chest sidled up, warm and secure, against your back; the slight rise and fall now coming more into focus, as your eyes blink open.

You look straight into the digital clock on your bedside table, and a surge of excitement jumpstarts your muscles. You flip over again to wake Nathan up in the wee hours of the morning, ever so determined to beat the crowds and the heat that was always inevitable at carnivals.

‘’Nate.’’ You nudge him gently and whisper, so as to not startle him awake. ‘’Babe, wake up. It’s time to go.’’

He takes a deep breath as one eye opens, the other still squished against the pillow. He sleepily groans as he stretches out his arms in front of him – twisting a little to the side – before squeezing you back into his arms, pulling you back onto the bed as his eyes go back to being shut.

‘’Nathan, wake up already!’’ You whine as you wriggle out of his grip. You grab your pillow and throw it at him -- and he lets out another groan.

‘’C’mon we gotta go!’’ You brush past him from the shower as he lazily brushes his teeth at the sink. He spits out the foamed toothpaste – ‘’Babe, it’s still 6am. I’m sure we have plenty of time to get there and go on all the rides.’’ – He grabs a mouthful of water before gargling and spitting out the residue, and as you watch him through the doorway – dressed in his boxers still, the tired still not completely gone from his eyes – the biggest sense of gratitude washes over you.

Who on God’s green Earth would wake up at 6 in the fucking A.M. to get ready to go to a carnival at the will of their partner?

Nathan fuckin’ Summers, that’s who.

You stride over to him as he looks over, drying his mouth against one of his face towels – eyes expectantly waiting for you speak.

You tiptoe against the cool tiles of the bathroom, placing a smacking kiss on the side of his cheek, your hand pushing him into the kiss from his other cheek – the stubble would normally deter you from that particular action, but today felt like a good exception.

Nathan has his brows raised, ‘’And that was for?’’

‘’Take a guess, sherlock.’’

‘’I thought you said you wouldn’t kiss my cheek until I shaved – and I quote – ’that God-forsaken cactus face of yours’.’’ He enquires.

‘’Today’s an exception, and there’s more where that came from.’’ You wink as you get back to the wardrobe to get changed.

Nathan watches you sift through the wardrobe, and when you find your underwear and bra, you toss the towel onto the bed, leaving his hungry eyes on your body for the taking – as you quickly put one foot after another, sliding your soft cotton panties up the length of your legs.

You could practically feel Nathan’s gaze bearing over you – and you turn your head to him, signaling to him with a few deliberate clicks of your fingers.

‘’Better get to showering, old man. We’re burning daylight!’’

Nathan scoffs, nudging the door close with his leg – though not completely closed as the door comes to a slight squeaking stop as the latch bolt hits the frame. A nifty little convenience trick – who needs bathroom locks whilst showering if you both always make room for ways to join each other?

You smile at the little force of habit that’s become ingrained to muscle memory – when Nathan’s exaggerated voice echoes from the bathroom.

‘’See, now I’ve got to take a cold shower because of you.’’

You pull on your jeans and put on your T-shirt, before walking by the bathroom door, and push the door to let you a small opening –

‘’Thank you for your sacrifice!’’

Nathan huffs a laugh against the spraying showerhead, and within a few minutes, he’s out and dressed and waiting by the door. It was a wonder how he could do that – wake up 5 minutes before leaving and still be ready before anyone else – ‘’It’s called being prepared, darlin’. I could teach you a thing or two about that.’’ He’d quote whenever you’d ask how the fuck he got ready so quickly.

As you walk down the steps of the mansion – quietly so as to not disturb the others – you hear a familiar voice from the top of the steps – ‘’Where are you little love birds off to? Finally eloping form this place I see. Well don’t worry, I’ll keep my mouth shut–‘’ Wade jumps off the banister and onto the first floor with a thud, and a cracking sound of his knees– ‘’if you tell me where you’re going. Fuck that always hurts’’ He ends his spiel as he goes to smooth out his legs.

‘’We’re headed for the carnival!’’

‘’WHAT?! It’s still fucking dark out! What are you gonna ride there? Mr. FullMetal Dick in the middle of the fairgrounds?’’

You laugh at Wade’s reaction – ‘’Relax you whiny pop tart, we’re just heading there first to get a good feel of the place. We’ll meet you there!’’

‘’What’s all this noise about? It’s too early in the morning.’’ A disgruntled NTW walks out of her room, second from the top of the stairs. ‘’What are you guys doing up so early?’’

‘’Sorry for waking you Ellie! We were just headed for the carnival and – ‘’

You stop when you hear an annoyed grunt coming from your side. ‘’Look kids, Me and Y/N are gonna head out first. I’ve only got room for 2 on my ride – so if you really wanna join us, you’re gonna have to get a ride from our ridesharing friend, Dopinder.’’

As he finishes his matter-of-fact speech, he lifts you off your feet– ‘’Nate, what are you–‘’ and carries you over his shoulder.

‘’If you will excuse me, I’ve got my lady to please.’’

Your body goes limp against him, as he walks out the door and over to the garage, where he has his bike parked. ‘’Adios amigos! See you at the carnival!’’ you wave as NTW waves back and closes the front door.

Your arms tighten around Nathan's thick, strong waist – your body sidling up against the leather jacket on his back, as he revvs the engine of his bike. His head turns to side, and he speaks up.

"Ready, doll?"

"You know it, Summers."

He revvs the engines once more, and in an instant, the both of you are blasting down the road and onto the freeway – the wind furiously whipping past you as the bike belts against the tarmac. Nathan zips between the few cars on the road, as your breath hitches with exhilaration – ‘’Hold on tight, darlin’.’’ His powerful voice cautions you, as he speeds up again, faster than you’ve ever gone – and something makes you want to let go and feel the winds above you.

You lift your body a little off the seat – arms held high over your head, as you howl out in joy. You watch the land extend far out into the horizon, the sun rising high and fast – the sky turning from the morning’s crisp golden sunrise to a blue as blue can get – the clouds white and puffy and running across the shifting blue canvas, as you and Nathan hurtle towards the bright new day.

You were never afraid – ever – when you had Nathan around. He’d always had your back, and you’ve had his. Fighting monsters, ghouls, demons, robots – the whole shebang. You remember, clear as day, when you confronted your feelings for him.

You wished it was a planned thing – but being an X-Men meant plans change faster than the weather – and the very morning that you brought Nathan out to ‘’talk’’ was interrupted by a particularly intense attack by 3 sentinels and Master Mold.

You remember the way you stood between a beaten down NTW, facing off the Master Mold alone – You lifted yourself off the ground and up into the air – using your super strength to leap bounds onto the robot – making strong contact with the Mold, enough to cause it to stumble backwards and give NTW a chance to get to safety. But you almost had the winds knocked out of you when a sentinel crashed into you with all of it monstrous force; your head and body lamenting at the shock of contact, absorbing all of the damage – your brain much too pumped with adrenaline to feel the pain, as the colossal impact of the sentinel flung your body across the length of the large backyard of the mansion.

You touch down onto the approaching ground, hard and fast – your back scraping against the ground as the heavy friction slows down you down -- after what seemed like miles of tasting dirt -- to a halt.

The clouds of dust from the small baseball field has you in a coughing fit, as you force your body to rise from the ground. A disembodied voice calls out from the blur of the powdered Earth, panicked and terrified and booming with worry; a voice you knew well enough to call home.

‘’Y/N? Fuck.’’ You see the glint of his one T.O. eye advancing towards you – but that’s the thing with feeling safe and found and cared for;

The pain that was previously subdued by the adrenaline of fight of flight, wavers in and out, and before you know it – the agony of your bones that had their screams silenced are now fifty times louder, and that’s when you yell out in pain.

You fall onto your knees – but Nathan’s quick enough that he catches you, preventing anymore damage. You control your breathing – labored and struggling – trying to breathe through the pain. Nathan holds your body up with his, your back resting on his chest.

‘’Kid, hey, can you hear me?’’ He holds your face up with his hand, ‘’Speak to me, Y/N. C’mon.’’ His voice was desperate, but you were in too much pain to talk.

Instead, you hum a little sound of assurance. ‘’Mmmhmm…’’

‘’Okay. Okay. You’ll be okay, I promise. I need you to focus on your breathing okay?’’

You felt the sting of your wounds against the cold morning air – buzzing furiously in your nerve impulses, as every repressed pain response came flooding into every corner of your thoughts.

But you remember one thing – and you somehow manage to speak it as you were slowly blacking out.

‘’Cable?’’

‘’Yes? Kid, I’m here, I’m here, please don’t go sleeping on me now.’’ He was fully focused getting the worst of your injuries in check – but stops when you put a hand on his arm.

‘’I was going… to say… that I really like… love you.’’

Nathan’s throat gets tight, caught completely off-guard by your confession in the midst of his panic, where his mind was previously running completely wild, now came to a complete standstill – and only regains momentum when he feels your heart rate slow down through his T.O. eye; but you – you weren’t afraid of anything – not when Nathan was around.

You’re brought back to the present by Nathan’s enquiring, ‘’You okay, kid?’’

You realise you were holding onto to him tighter than a corset, and you ease up your arms into a snug hug. Nathan had slowed down considerably – mainly due to the increasing traffic – but you could now see the shape of the Ferris wheel ahead, sounding out a pleased ‘’AHA!’’

Nathan takes the rest of the ride slow and steady – which gives you a chance to recount how your confession panned out.

You woke up, of course, in the mansion’s emergency room, on one of their best beds – which was news to you because they only saved the best beds for the worst injuries – and by the soft, fluffy feel of the bed AND a neck pillow? You probably already died and gone to heaven.

You let yourself get a feel of your body; eyes still closed.

It felt like a millennia since you’ve used it. You wriggle your toes and your fingers, before stretching out on the bed.

The sudden movements on the bed stirs Nathan awake from your bed side, and he sits up straight, his hand reaching for yours.

When you open your eyes, it’s all fuzzy and dark, only the fluorescent lights from the hallway outside (and the beeping monitor screens) illuminating the room. You suddenly feel a hand in yours, and when you look up, there was Nathan – looking at you with relief.

‘’Glad you’re finally awake, kid.’’ His eyes were soft, grateful even.

‘’Mmmm yeah. I don’t really remember what happened. Care to fill me in? I mean, it must’ve been a big one if I’m back in here again after all these years.’’

‘’Don’t sell yourself short, kid.’’ He exhales, almost as if he had to stop himself from elaborating.

He leans in close to you, pulling you in by the waist – you sensed a tension, a fatigue in his demeanor, as he breathes out a heavy sigh; holding you tight, his face smothered into your neck.

You hug him back, the sweet gesture more than welcome, especially coming from Nathan.

He pulls back a little, with you still in his arms, and explains. ‘’Well, before you faded away, I was gonna say… that I really like– love you too.’’

And everything clicks for you. The crash, the shooting pain, the glint of his eye in the dust cloud.

The I really love you.

You feel the blood rush into your cheeks, as Nathan pulls the bike into a stop in front of the carnival. You shake it off, before swinging your leg up and off the bike.

‘’Ready to get your ass kicked, Summers? I’m gonna be gold at these games.’’

‘’You were always gold to me, darlin’.’’ He tugs you close to him, pressing a loving kiss onto your temple.

His soft lips depart from your temple, ‘’I was so afraid that I was going to lose you.’’ His forehead lingers over yours, his slow steady breath exhaling as a means of respite.

‘’What can I say, Summers? You make me feel alive.’’ You jest in a whisper, pulling him into a soft, binding kiss.

You step back from Nathan’s lips when you hear an obnoxious honking noise.

‘’HEY! This is a FAMILY-ORIENTED EVENT! NO KISSING ALLOWED!’’ Wade bellows from Dopinder’s taxi, leaning in front of the wheel as he presses on the wheel.

You flash a knowing smile at Nathan, who offers up a hand to you.

You take it, interlocking with his fingers and swinging your arms as you stride into the carnival entrance – ready for yet another new day, a new adventure, with Nathan; one of the many that you will keep remembered for a rainy day.

Arplis - News: How to Make Listing Videos That Charm Buyers and Compel Sellers to Hire You

Tim Macy had a problem. He was about to put a new home on the market and wanted to make a listing video to promote it online. The home was nice enough, but nothing about it really stood out. It was like a lot of the homes in the neighborhood.

Then he found something unusual: a tiny desk and office underneath the stairs. Macy, a top agent with RockHouse Realty Group at eXp Realty in San Antonio who was recently named a 2019 BombBomb Real Estate Video Influencer, had the hook he needed to create a better listing video.

In the video I say, Check out this house because it has this Harry Potter room and one of the first shots is me sitting in the room and my daughter opening the door. Its so engaging and that gave it a little boost and more exposure.

Problem solved.

That kind of creativity is a must when you think about how much video people watch online. YouTube says we watch more than one billion hours of video every day. And when it comes to Facebook, 60% of Americans who watch digital video do so on Facebook. Instagram says more than 500 million users watch video on Instagram Stories every day.

But most real estate agents arent taking advantage of video. In the National Association of Realtors 2019 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, only 10 percent of sellers reported that their agent used video to market their home.

Video is no longer the next thing; its the now thing, Macy says. If youre not doing it for your listings, youre doing yourself and your clients a disservice.

The good news is that its never too late to start making videos for your listings. Here are nine steps to make listing videos that will both charm homebuyers and compel sellers to hire you.

1.) Your first decision: hire a videographer or do it yourself?

Ryan Snaadt, an Iowa-based real estate videographer who also trains aspiring video professionals, says it takes him a couple of hours to create a high-quality real estate listing video; he charges clients $750 and up per video. The final cost depends on a number of factors such as the homes size and listing price. The length of the video you want (see below for more on that) and even where youre located can also impact your costs.

In informal conversations, several agents and videographers told us that a typical 2-3 minute listing video should cost between $300 and $1,000, but you may come across fees as high as $2,000 to $3,000. Bottom line: get quotes from several videographers to learn the current rates in your area.

Ask other agents for recommendations

Reach out to eager students in the film/video department at your local college or university

Search web sites like Upwork.com, Thumbtack.com and Freelancer.com

If those sites dont have enough choices in your area, check wedding website TheKnot.com many video pros advertise themselves primarily to brides and grooms

Not all agents can afford to hire a videographer, especially if youre selling a lower-priced home. If you dont have the budget to hire a pro for all of your listing videos, theres nothing wrong with the do-it-yourself approach. You can also shoot a fun video on your iPhone and be creative, says Snaadt.

A simple, inexpensive gear list for the do-it-yourself real estate agent might include:

Camera: your smartphone, especially if its the latest model

Microphone: Pop voice lavalier microphone (currently $13)

Tripod: UBeesize 5-foot tripod with smartphone mount (currently $35)

Lighting: not needed, use natural light (more on this below)

Editing software: iMovie (included with Apple devices) or Final Cut Pro X (Mac/$300), Adobe Premiere (Mac & Windows/$21 per month), DaVinci Resolve (Mac & Windows/free version or $300)

Macy often records a lot of video content on his iPhone 11 Pro Max. Ill shoot a selfie of me out in front of the house and say, Hey, its Tim. Im at 123 Main Street and I want you to check out this house because it has an unbelievable kitchen and its just been renovated.

2.) Dont just start shooting. A great listing video begins with a plan.

If youre hiring a professional, Macy says you should give the videographer specific examples of what you want your video to look like. Include the fact that you want it to be at this pace, with this type of music and with these type of shots, he says.

Youve given them a guide and something to go by and youll tend to be happier with the results you get back.

If youre making the video yourself, this isnt the time to whip out your phone and record with no focus. A D-I-Y video shoot should begin with preparation like this:

Scout the home inside and out. Look for unique features that you want to highlight, like Macy did with the Harry Potter room. Do this at different times of day, so that you can

decide on the best time of day to shoot your video. As you scout the home, look at the natural lighting and shadows in each room. Harsh sunlight can make a room and home look less appealing, which is exactly what you dont want to do.

Make a list of shots you want to get. Think about the shot(s) that will capture attention in the first five seconds of your video and convince viewers to keep watching. If the home looks particularly beautiful in the soft light of a sunrise or sunset, that might be a perfect opening scene.

On that last point, if you dont know what shots you want in your video, watch other listing videos on YouTube for inspiration. Dont copy another agents style exactly, but pick and choose the shots and styles you like to create a listing video that fits you and the homes you sell.

3.) Make a listing video for every home you sell.

Listing videos are great for showcasing million-dollar homes, but agents should make listing videos for homes in all price points.

Obviously luxury videos are fun because everybody likes to dream about living in one of those, but what if you made a video about a fantastic house thats less than $200,000? says Macy. You can talk about how great of an affordable home it is and show how close it is to the park.

Think of it this way: You write a listing description for every home, not just your high-end properties. Its the same way with listing videos. Every house has a story, Macy says. Every house has something.

4.) Put yourself in every listing video so viewers get to know you.

Many home listing videos consist of music and video shots of the homes interior and exterior. Thats it. Effective? Maybe. But when you have people in a video its more engaging, says Macy. And if your content is not engaging, its going to disappear and nobodys going to watch it.

In one of his own videos, Macy jumped on a scooter and recorded his two-minute ride through San Antonio to the home he had listed for sale.

Some people would say, Why dont you focus on the house instead of riding a scooter down the street? Well, if I just did that, nobody would see it. But since I jumped on a scooter and went by local restaurants, more people watched and more people saw the house, Macy says.

A listing video isnt just about selling the home; its also a way to introduce yourself to potential clients. Put yourself in every listing video, even if its just a spoken intro and outro. I see agents that put out a ton of listing videos that theyre not in and people arent getting to know that agent, Macy says.

5.) Match the music to the mood of the home.

Youre making a video, but dont overlook the audio. Along with beautiful visuals, the right soundtrack will help buyers get a sense of what it would be like to live in the home. The music in your listing video should appeal to potential buyers and match the mood of the home.

A country cabin listing would have different music than a cottage on the beach, says Snaadt.

In this video [above], the music is upbeat, modern, and happy similar to this homes layout. If it were a snow-covered cabin in the woods, you would look for music that is more rustic and fits the style of the home. [The video below] would be more of that rustic example with acoustic spunky music.

One agent sent Snaadt a very confusing listing video that she created to sell a high-end, million-dollar castle. It was so fast-cutting and the music was high intensity, he says. Sometimes you get lost in the creative and forget the strategy, which is to entice people who want to come to see the home.

6.) Dont worry about how long the video is; worry about how great it is.

Look around on YouTube and youll find listing videos that run the gamut from really short to really long. Have you ever seen a 37-minute long listing video? Heres one. More common is a video like this one that runs slightly more than three minutes. And heres one that runs about 14 minutes.

Theres no such thing as a perfect length, as long as its entertaining and engaging, says Macy.

Macy explains that youll know the right length for your listing video when youre editing it. Say youve got your daughter who has a puppy in the video because its a vacant listing and that makes it more fun. You get the shots, put the video together and feel like youve got a minute and 20 seconds of real entertaining stuff, so the video is one minute and 20 seconds. If you feel like its only entertaining for 45 seconds, then only make it 45 seconds.

7.) Use a drone, but dont overdo it.

In the past, real estate agents might rent a helicopter in order to capture aerial views of a special property. Today, many agents use a drone to capture that magical view above tree-level, and that footage often becomes the opening or closing shot of a listing video. not a pure malay i was a mixture combination of malay and my origins are malayalee also because i was chubby. i still remember till date every single thing that they have said to me throughout primary and high school time. there was once where my dad bring mercedez car which was a family car that belongs to my uncle to school to fetch me and my brother after school was over and they insult my dad so bad and every words was so hurtful and they said that must not be your father's car it is impossible for him to have that car i bet its his boss car and he is a driver that's why he brings that car to school to fetch you. i used to cry so bad and lock myself in the room every time after i came back from school. i tried to be like them make myself to be accepted in their community. i was hit by a broom, by a thick book until my hand was swollen, i got an full of ice cube thrown at me, every time after recess was over i go back to class and can see all of my things,books, and even my bag in the dustbin and the boys would laugh so hard at me when i took all of my things and put them back in my bag pack and sit in my seat back. i just wanted to be accepted by them for who i really am even worst they even put a dead bird underneath my table where i always keep my things and i screamed so loud as i saw the dead bird under my table and that's when the boys laughed so hard and said serves you right all because my dad request to shift me from second last to third class but by luck i got into second class when i was 15 years old and since then till i finished my high school i got bullied until to one stage i got a terrible breakdown till i was send by my parents to see a psychiatric at ppum and was under medication for a while to control my depression and anxiety attacks. i also had been having insomnia ever since i was at school. its very hard to feel happy even at times when you're feeling so down about yourself and yet you had to be strong because i didn't wanted to be seen weak in front of others. i used to cry in silent every time and cursed myself for everything that happened to me. i didn't had anyone's emotional support back at that time except from my grandpa he was the only one that truly understands me without me having to say a word and he can know my feelings but i have lost him for good because he went to meet allah and left me all alone also my uncle who was one of a kind the person whom i loved, care and respect the most because every time when he knows im upset without saying a word he would just give me a tight hug and tab my back and say its ok everything will be just fine and i dont have to worry about anything and i would feel so safe but the moment i lost them i felt like a part of me has been taken away and i would just never talked to anyone much and isolate myself from others. i would always be in my bed all day long without moving or go outside anywhere but i had to wake up and get ready to go to college and i tried to keep myself busy with my studies but i was very playful when i first joined college for my diploma course. i would never attend the classes most of the times, i would even skip my classes and joined my college mates and hangout at mall just opposite my college and i failed my exams so bad during my first year of college and when my parents got to know about this they stopped me from college and i was in house for 6 months and did a part time job and that is when i begged my father to let me join college back and finish of what i have started because i didn't like to leave things half way and then i rejoined college back in 2013 and manage to complete my diploma course after 5 years of struggle and prove every one wrong who think i couldn't finish it off. during these times my i have put on a lot weight due to my depression and anxiety attacks which made me to have insomnia as well and i was teased at college and got bullied because of my weight but throughtout my diploma years i have surroundings and was dealing some family issues as well but my best friend stopped me and slap me hard and i just cried in her arms so badly because i couldn't handle the pain and think what have i ever done to them and him till i had to go through all this which i don't deserve it at all and was struggling with depression and battling against it for years thanks to my close friends and emotional support that i receive from them and my family i did manage to survive all these years by depending on my physical strength. my mental and emotinal strength has totally been ripped off. i didn't wanted to be lonely because i was scared that ill go into depression again and harm myself. all i ever wanted was a bit of love, happiness and emotional support from my family and parents but eventhough if i tell my problems to them they wont even understand the pain or the struggle which i was going through. there was a time where i tried to end my life by consuming calamite lotion after suffering from severe mental and emotional breakdown but my mom saved my life by making me throw up all of it. i often felt like i'm a total loser in my life and nothing but a burden for all surrounding me. i always lock myself in room and cried as hard as i can thinking why all of it is happening to me, why does it always has to be me going through all this when i never done any harm to anyone and was just being myself. its extremely hard for me to smile and all when i was hurting inside. through out the years i have been depending on my physical strength to survive and live the day. i also became very rebellious i would always leave my room in a mess and untidy the whole room and always would be fighting and arguing with my parents and brothers because i didn't know how to handle my depression and always had mood swings all the time. i just wanted some emotional support from my dad or just a tight hug from him to melt all of my problems away just like how my uncle use to do when he was still alive and motivate and encourage me just like how my grandpa used to do whenever i'm feeling down of myself. then i had a cat named tommy who was like my son and made my day i often play with him and became like a child when i was with him because somehow it helps me to forget my pain. then shortly after that i had another cat named cheezy who is a darl to me and my baby girl and would always spend most of my times with them until tommy ran away from home which left cheezy then she became my small world. i was somehow trying to recover from my depression until i had a call from a lawyer which was from my previous college that says i had certain outstanding payment to be cleared or else i had to face the court and during that i was in the midst of my 3rd semester exam week for my degree course and was doing revision and preparing for my final exam for my 3rd semester and told this to my parents and then the following day i went to my previous college with my mom and brother to meet the person in charge and after all that through out in the car my mom was shouting in the car at me and forcing me to stop my studies and work which i didn't wanted because i needed the degree in order for me to have a better and stabil career and salary package and after we reached home my mom went to her room and shortly after that my second brother came and asked my mom how did it all go and she was telling everything to him and then i just told my mom to stop making it a big fuss and create a drama out of it because i didn't know anything that this would come and was in the midst of preparing for my final exams for 3rd semester where she yelled at me and says in tears that my father was shivering while taking out all the documents and was thinking how is he going to pay to settle the payment and my brother told me that i am nothing but a burden to them and know how to trouble everyone and put them in trouble at that moment i was in shocked to hear that my brother could even say those words to me. i was like ya allah why during times where i didn't slept for days and was really working hard for my exams i had to go through all this and i had a terrible anxiety attack and emotional breakdown where i consumed overdose of paracetamol because at that time i couldn't think of anything and wanted to end my life because when seeing my father in such situation i thought why not i just leave the world rather than being a burden for all of them and took without thinking anything and right after that in the morning i was feeling very weak and a headache then my mom came to me and said its ok we will figure it out and solve it and i called my friend and told her everything and told her to be on the line until i reached the place where we supposed to meet and once i was there we sit and talked for a while and after having my lunch i started to feel heavy giddiness and terrible headache and couldn't even walk because i was about to collapsed due to the effects from the panadol and then my friend held me and send me till chow kit monorail station and i booked myself a grab from there to hkl and got myself admitted in the emergency ward and i was in half critical ward because the effect from the medicine i took affected my liver and kidney badly and i was in the midst of life and death and the doctors told me despite being in that stage it is a miracle that i'm still alive and able to breathe and they told me to inform my parents where i didn't wanted to because i was not in a situation where i can talk to them and told my friend to inform them and shortly after that my mom called me and cried and ask how am i now and what actually happened till i got admitted and i couldn't talk much due to the iv drips and giddiness and my bp went very low till they had to put me in the ward for observation and i was diagnosed with acute depression and right after the call my mom went and call my dad and informed him about my conditions and he was in a total shocked after hearing the news and called my elder brother to come to his office and drive the car to come and meet me in hospital as he couldn't drive in that situation and just a few minutes after dawn they came and asked me what happened and all i was just in silent and didnt talk much at them because at that moment i feel like i was nothing but a burden for my dad. people will normally tell that it is wrong to do all this and etc but they don't understand the pain, the struggle and all that i was going through because all they could see is just my mistakes and not my pain but that's when i realized something that if i dont talk and share my stories i would always be in dark. i decided to share my story because i wanted others out there who's going through the same to talk their heart out and share their stories as well so they could bring awareness to others about the seriousness of mental health and depression and inspire others out there so that it could help them to come out from their depression as well. it is ok to cry, it is ok to be sad and all but never let it to consume you totally because running away from it is not gonna solve anything instead embrace it and always know problems are there to make us be stronger than we are now. through out the 5 days of being hospitalized and was under observation i came to realize that ending my life is not gonna help to get rid of my pain or the depression that i am facing but by sharing it so that i can inspire others out there to face their problems and let everyone know and realize that there is always a way out for everything. i hope my story somehow help other womans out there to speak up and share their stories as well and together bring awareness of the importance of mental health and overcome depression. and i am so blessed with such a loving and supporting family and they meant the whole world to me especially my parents and i am so blessed to have such a supporting, understanding and caring close friends who is my second family who always encourages and motivates me everytime when i feel down about myself and from this incident i started to Ep. 3: “Shrek Can Heck the Heck Off” ~ Duncan

So tribal occurred and I guess expectingly, everything went as planned. I was really nervous and I don't know why... probably since it's All Stars and everyone is here to not only impress, but to play. We're the recruits and it means that in the past we've shown definitive reasons as to why we had the chance to bypass the application process and immediately enter. It's wild. Overall, i'm fine with tribal. I would've enjoyed Julia a big longer and wouldn't have minded if she stayed, but when so many people are like "you've been so disconnected" etc, there's only so much I can personally do to reroute that. I really am hoping our tribe pulls through in this upcoming immunity. I just don't want to deal with the stress from last time, and i'm scared that I could be in danger. There is an alliance of 7 (now excluding only Duncan & Sam) but EVERYONE talks to Duncan - including myself, he's really nice - and Sam is just generically popular for whatever reason. They're both extremely active, maybe not as much in PMs as the tribe chat, but still are. This then creates the potential of a flip. I would be totally down to do so in the event that it's just... an easy thing to execute. When looking into long term, there's many people who despite how much I like them personally, are huge threats due to their connections on the other tribe. Of course I have Dana, who will work with me but obviously we'll cut one another if the time comes. But there's bigger cliques of people I guess. Emily is mutually friends with EVERYONE - and I adore her so much that it sucks. Ashvika is a legend, also really liked. Duncan has friends on the other side. It's just like... there's many groups of two-four people and it's an interesting dynamic to put as an obstacle. I guess we'll see how things go and how well people think around this and plan accordingly. Also the archipelago is RUDE! thank you.

Ali Update! So, I survived tribal, but I've officially been hexed so I guess I may as well give up! But ultimately, while it was ugly to vote out Julia, I think going into a swap, we don't want to be the totally dominate tribe in numbers, so perhaps losing a member (or potentially two, even though I have no idea who that would be) could work to our benefit? Who can ever be sure! With that said, I am concerned going into another tribal, in that the options are either our alliance of 7, Duncan or Sam. And like.... all those options are ugly. I don't want any of those happening.... So, (and it looks like we will need to win two challenges to do this) we need to win the next two challenges basically! Which has like a 25% chance of happening, but I do think a music video challenge does actually favour our tribe, so hopefully we can win the next one too! With regards to the swap, it does look like we are gonna have an #ugly four tribes of four swap, but my theory is for each tribal at that stage, two of the four tribes will go to tribal? So it'll be tribals of like 7 or 8 people! we will see I guess, but right now, I am focusing on not having the awful task of voting out another member of this phenomenal tribe! Well my plan went off without a hitch this round. I was able to get an alliance formed with Ali, Ashvika, Emily, JD, Ruthie, and Zachary to have the majority going into the last vote. We also made sure to keep Samuel and Duncan looped in so that it was a nice, easy, vote out for Julia. I love controlling votes, yes I do. So far I haven't found anything in the Archipelago. I can't spell that and I'm not going to look it up so I'm going to call it the Islands of Death. Every time someone has searched we've gotten a notice saying that they were tired but mine never have. Where are they going? What are they doing? Suspicious. I do know that whatever advantage was with the artifacts is gone now. Someone completed the task faster than I did. I have a feeling it might have been something dumb like a double vote so I'm not that worried. Based on the rules, I think there's only going to be one hidden immunity idol and you're going to have to work your ass off to earn it. Athena, Charlotte, and idols don't go hand in hand. I'm only good at finding them in other games. Looks like we're just going to have to keep winning so I'm never at risk!

Yeah I said it and I can back it up: I knew 1 person on our tribe when all stars began and yet turned the 9-1 vote against me in the FIRST FUCKING ROUND to 6-4 me staying; I built a solid alliance of 5 (we poached Cameron lol); I give every challenge my all; and I maintain decent relationships with 85% of the tribe. But because Lily happened to fall in that 15% and hasn't gotten a fruit basket, I have to put up with her shit until one of us leaves

Also I walk on eggshells in this tribe and I can barely breathe without someone having a fucking opinion. Talk to this person, make more of an effort with that person even though they're being immature, don't work with this person, trust that person, change your part in the music video even though there's nothing fucking wrong with playing Gingy from Shrek, don't mind us as we change OUR ROLES every hour because it's fine who cares if the clock is ticking. I love my tribe and they mean well but I'm 23 years old my gameplay isn't a democracy. I made a video confession but I was angrier than I should’ve been and so I’m typing this out because it’ll probably make more sense. So earlier today, Ali messaged me and tells me that he accidentally went to the bridge instead of clifface and I didn’t think much of it. So when I go archipelago searching, I row > path 1 > climb > complete the challenge > clifface > climb > do the simple task. NOW. The simple task is to not talk in the tribe chat for twenty four hours. HUH. At first I didn’t think anything of it, but then I remembered Ali got a very similar disadvantage only he said that someone ELSE gave him this disadvantage. So at first I’m like. Oh. This is a little weird. But I go ahead and message everyone and tell them about my disadvantage and how I won’t be talking in the tribe chat anymore. Then something occurs to me: Ali could be??? Lying to me??? So I sent him the quotes from my host chat and he immediately confessed to lying. And I tell him it’s totally fine. I’m not upset. I understand what he did and like? I can’t be mad because I was going to do the exact same thing. Now Ali is saying he’s going to give the idol. So this is amazing. I’m getting an idol no matter what so yeet. We’re talking about what to do with Duncan now. I think he’s gonna come clean. And like nskwbwjwjwjw this is such a mess! But I gotta help Ali and get him out of this predicament because this is what FRIENDS are FOR!!! Whew. Anyways I’m gonna drive home now goodbye.

Ok so I shouldn’t be up but like y’all know I get off work late and play catch up for like 2 hours + don’t sleep normal people hours so I’m really happy we won, mainly because that means I’m 100% safe. That’s how you’re supposed to feel but when you’re paranoid, facts help you sleep better at night. I went from comfortably being Gingy to taking one for the team and stepping up to be Shrek hours before the deadline; so even if we had lost my logic was that I contributed enough deep in the clutch to be seen more as a saving grace rather than a threat or dead weight. Highkey I feel like I’m playing harder than I really want to but these hoes backed me into a corner and every time I try to go under the radar people start running their mouth. Elaenia was branded the underdogs but I feel like the underdog of the underdogs. Yes I’m on varsity and yes I can sit with everyone at lunch but is it enough? Almost being first boot really did a number on me and I literally play day to day. I just took a nap now i'm regenerated. 2 hours? WOO! I think it's my time. Maybe i'm just hallucinating and paranoid - but I tend to have decent awareness of what's going on and how people interact with me, but at the same time I have a huge habit of over reading situations. Point is, everyone's being very short with me. Duncan, a person who is usually exciting and lovely, is responding with one word excerpts. Perhaps he's tired but... yeah. Emily is also similar. She hasn't changed her speech patterns in my opinion, but in the manner of what's been happening, it's just more noticeable. If I could just you know... have a say - why not Sam? I understand the 7 person alliance is not going to remain unitedly intact, but that's one easy vote. Not only did he send a 4 second clip (then a 9 second lipsync) to Emily in the last two hours, but he's been the most inactive. I do think he's a great guy, I really do - but it's stressing me out. I think Emily maybe wanted to flip though. I always mention Emily in every confessional I make but that's for a few reasons. First, she's really sweet and enjoyable and I like her. Second, she's really well connected and like a spider web of relations, so being good with her could maybe put me 1-up. Third, i'm literally being her so-called lapdog (by myself, that is). Point is before I rambled was that she suspects that our group isn't tight and that we soon will require to flip since a 7 person group is a gigantic majority, and despite the fact that an upcoming swap is glooming in the distance, it is a threatening perspective. If she wanted to flip on someone, unless it was one of a few people (Ashvika... and Charlotte, I guess) I would easily be on board. I like the others, Ali and Ruthie and everyone, but i'll play cutthroat. I'm here to get myself one day further!!!! Not really. Kind of. Who knows. Nonetheless it's a great thought process, and i've been interested in it myself prior to her acknowledgement. I don't want to be blatant cause for some dumb reason I think i'm walking on thin ice, but it's there... it's a potential possibility. So I was really hoping that it wasn't going to come to this because I don't wanna vote out Sam and Duncan ciao know that they are numbers for me over Charlotte... So I just filmed a video confessional, but I think I need to write out my thoughts since I'm so conflicted. God, just write murdered by Shrek on my tombstone. Anyway, first things first... How blessed are we all to know Emily? Oscar-worthy director, sane person, just inspiration. She helped handle the mess that was my silence idol challenge confusion. She is honestly the best ally I could ask for, and I am so blessed to know her, as a friend and ally. Soppy time over. Time for GAME AKJLFDAkljafd. So, I have decided I need to reassess my core allies. In this game, I need to realise that everyone is of course gonna have an agenda, so its important to coalesce with all the people with motivations similar to mine. Because we share our info, Emily definitely falls into that category, which is why she is my main ally right now. Beyond that, I feel really good about Zach atm. He is so nice and great to talk to, and I think in an alliance sense we really click? So that's why I am really here for the "EAZy Votes" alliance (Me,Zach & Emily) because I really feel those are two solid allies I'd love to work with going forwards. From that point, I also get great vibes from Charlotte & Ashvika as people I'd like to work with going forward in the game. Charlotte is a smart cookie, she knows her stuff, is super sociable and a great person to work with. So like... I'm down to clown with Charlotte. Ashvika is the only person left on the tribe who I didn't have some sort of relationship with preseason, but she is honestly just so nice. She is someone I'd truly love to work with going forwards. Ruthie, my cracked disney queen, is someone who I think would be a great and loyal ally, and like... who doesn't want some Ruthie in their life? That leaves my Emathia chums Duncan,JD & Sam. Sam is a great guy, and someone I always have a place in my soft hort for, but I just think he has for some reason struggle to ingratiate himself within the tribe, which has just made him such a target and means keeping him is like... a big move. Duncan and JD are so conflicting for me. JD has become much more cracked since Emathia, and I am down to crack some eggs, but not the whole batch... So she is scary to work with long term. Duncan I find really hard. As a friend, I love him SOOOOO much, and I always will do. I just get super freaked out, because his agenda is very different to mine (as is JDs). They don't know Zach or Ruthie while I do, which makes it hard to find plans that we agree on? Like with Julia, it was easy, but now it gets harder..... ACK, I dont know. Basically, this whole game is too much for my poor soft hort.

This is going to be the most dark sided season of survivor. This round sam is going home (according to what I know) and I actually don’t want him out. Apparently San has just not been putting in the work in order to make friends with everybody. And I’m like sam! This is all stars! You should be performing your ass off in all aspects. Now granted I have Emily to look out for my ass but I’m also looking out for myself. It’s just Ugly because the one time I want to work closely with Sam and make amends I won’t have the chance to. JD made an emathia alliance chat so I think she wants to save sam but she isn’t pushing for it and people were being indecisive. So after thinking about it for about 12 hours I decided fuck it. It’s premerge, I cannot make any big moves rn, I’m not going to play my idol on sam. And sam is not my closest ally right now so I can’t stick out my neck to save him. JD told me she didn’t care to work with zac Ashvika and ruthie and t shook me. I’m the only one left not in that seven but that’s the only crack I need to survive another round if we were to lose again. Sidenote? I’m not happy with Ali like at all. He and Emily both found the path to the idol but couldn’t speak in the tribe chat or any alliance chats for 24 hours. Emily told us the truth but Ali told us before Emily found the path, that he was being punished. Like this makes me feel better about being closer to Emily in the game. I’m really hoping to survive the night obviously, and it’s going to suck to see sam go but this is all stars so I guess All is Fair in Love and War. And I want to win this war.

I keep forgetting to pretend to socialize with the other people on my tribe so they don't want to vote me out, like i'm doing a TERRIBLE job. With the exception of Autumn, the rest of my alliance is also close with people on the outside of our group, which lowkey sucks but..wig! Catch me getting idoled out honestly. This vote has been an absolute roller coaster because Duncan has been pushing hard to save Sam and like... people aren't budging. Except JD is actually so cracked? I don't really have much to confess right now but I love building my edgic!! It's interesting that our tribe is very divided right now in terms of majority/minority alliance and that the other tribe has had two unanimous votes...very interesting...But as the days go on I feel more and more connected to my alliance of five and can see that the other 4 have made basically no effort to talk to me since the Karen vote (like we've talked about things aside from the game) but like...Kevin doesn't talk to me at all, Madison's lowkey sketchy even though she's a queen, and Jack and Lily haven't talked to me since I apologized for keeping them out of the Karen vote. Also a note - anyone can say "I would've voted with you" and that's an easy lie to tell. So it doesn't really sway me when they tell me that about voting Karen out.

Whenever I’m working with my family, acquaintances, or peers, they ever ask me how I’m able to get so much better done.

My answer: “I have ADHD.”

That might resonate confusing, but realistically, parties with ADHD don’t always have problems with attention at least , not when we’re is currently working on something that excites us. In reality, ADHD often means that we can hyperfocus on awesome things for hours on end, although sometimes that comes at the expense of all the less-thrilling acts were supposed to be doing.( Why soak the recipes when you can build a rocket ship out of a cardboard casket and a disassembled vacuum cleaner ?)

Most beings with ADHD have to work 10 epoches harder to achieve seemingly basic organizational and era administration abilities skills that other people develop naturally over occasion. 4. Keep a calendar, and planned in the time it takes for “youve got to” do events .

If it takes you additional time to keep a calendar or get into the headspace for a meeting? Factor that in when youre projecting your daytime too.

5. Pay attention to the your day’s ups and downs, and use them to your advantage .

Do you get sleepy claim after lunch? Then perhaps dont dive into that intense assignment at 1 p.m. Are you better when you answer emails in the morning and get active tasks done subsequently? Then do that. Anatomy out what works for you, and follow that planned .

Instead, the best we can hope for is to embrace ourselves for all our strengths and weaknesses, and continue feeling things to work toward. Perhaps that’s a new business seek, 15 simultaneous hobbies, or plainly recollecting to put your underwear on before your pants.

If that last part is a measurable clue, then for me, today was an extraordinary success.

The good news is that its never too late to start making videos for your listings. Here are nine steps to make listing videos that will both charm homebuyers and compel sellers to hire you.

1.) Your first decision: hire a videographer or do it yourself?

Not sure how or where to find a videographer? Try these ideas:

Ask other agents for recommendations

Reach out to eager students in the film/video department at your local college or university

Search web sites like Upwork.com, Thumbtack.com and Freelancer.com

If those sites dont have enough choices in your area, check wedding website TheKnot.com many video pros advertise themselves primarily to brides and grooms

A simple, inexpensive gear list for the do-it-yourself real estate agent might include:

Camera: your smartphone, especially if its the latest model

Microphone: Pop voice lavalier microphone (currently $13)

Tripod: UBeesize 5-foot tripod with smartphone mount (currently $35)
