Summary:
“How was your first kiss?” Wei Wuxian blurted out, grabbing tightly on the straps of her bag.
“Way better than Nie Huaisaing’s, that's for sure,” Jiang Cheng snorted before giving Wei Wuxian a private smile. “Mine was with my best friend.”
Hm, Wei Wuxian didn’t know why, but those words made her heart clench. She laughed and wrapped an arm around Jiang Cheng’s shoulder, agreeing that yes their first kiss was much better than silly Nie Huaisang’s.

Paranoia is isolating in itself, by its own mechanisms of mistrust and withdrawal, but it also carries a stigma, as does time spent in prison. People pick up on these perceived markers of abnormality. They sidestep the street mutterer and shun the former criminal, isolating them if not submitting them to actual violence. What I am trying to say is that the vicious circle by which loneliness proceeds does not happen in isolation, but rather as an interplay between the individual and the society in which they are embedded, a process perhaps worsened if they are already a sharp critic of that society’s inequities.

“Um. Well,” Honeydew replied. Lalna heard a muffled crash in the background. “I don’t think we’re going to be able to visit Tuscarora again any time soon.”
“Why? He didn’t destroy it, did he?”
“No, but they sure aren’t going to let anyone with Xephos’ face back in. He’s sorta-“ Another shout. “-causing a ruckus with the Testificates.”
Lalna grimaced. At least they didn’t go there to trade very often.

so this blog turned 5 years old today
for sappy rant 👇👇👇
i cant believe its been 5 years since i first started as bangtan-chub and now bulletproofscales. if i had known then what this blog would turn into i wouldnt have been able to believe it. this blog has seen so much of me, i literally started at 15 and im turning 21 next month.
i love this blog so much, i love that i started without any writing experience and that its something i actively and enthusiastically have worked on so consistently. this really feels like _my_ thing. not because im particularly good at it, but because ive just really put my all into it. i fell inlove with writing, and the fact that theres a group of people AT ALL who are willing to tune in and read what i post is still insane to me.
ive never been the most open about my personal life in here, but this place has always stood as a place of joy for me. when im feeling my lowest i can always turn to this blog thats consumed me for 5 years now that i worked entirely on my own on, and feel pride that i was able to make this, and write all these fics (as shitty as the first ones that i refurse to re read probably are). this is something i icked up myself and stuck with out of pure self indulgence and enjoyment. writing brings me so much joy and i really dont plan on stopping any time soon. any member of this community, lurker, writer, fanartist, roleplayer that stepped foot in here has a a fond spot in my memory.
so really thank you for iving me this space and this attention to what i do. it motivates me so much, and i wanna keep on putting out works for all of you! happy blog birthday to me!!
