give 15 reasons why u like doffy
1) He is smart
2) He was protective of his younger brother
3) His design is genuinely terrifying /pos
4) His laugh is also very fitting
5) His views of justice is pretty justifyable in the world of one piece
6) He reminds me of my villain present mic AU
7) Despite everything, family is still something he values to a certain extent
8) My interest always moves towards Machiavellian villains, which is what doffy is
9) the brother trope is one of my favorites, and the tragedy which occurred between him and his brother means a lot to me
10) I am also very attached to the idea that if Doffy had been found by anyone but Trebol, and had grown to continue protecting his brother, rosi and doffy would've built one another up a lot and for the better, all this to say he is not inherently evil
11) I usually gravitate towards misunderstood characters ; it's very easy to blame doffy and say he's "always been horrible, a monster and inherently evil", he was 8 years old and went through extensive trauma, and his anger was perpetuated by trebol to the point he couldn't see anything but himself, and even if he had issues with empathy and emotions, he could've been a much better person
12) I like when characters have something quirky, and for doffy it's the way he walks and sits, honestly
13) I really like that his devil fruit power also matches his personality, he reminds me of rui in KNY, playing pretend with puppets because he's filling a certain lack
14) his name is aesthetically pleasing and satisfying when you say it out loud
15) he's the type of character who, although he has enough lore about him to understand him, I love to break down into pieces to analyze and explain even further the reasoning behind his actions, it's just something I really love to do with villains

Look, I read some theories and reviews of some other blogs and I just wanna say:
You can think whatever you want, no one can disrespect your opinion but what Lotor did wasn't just bad but also wrong, it isn't wrong for him that's normal bc this is the same for most people probably even Allura (I'll explain this below). I think lotura might be endgame but not sure about it and I think I already stated how they might be endgame? I don't know? Anyways back to the point, what Lotor did was wrong, really wrong. He could have preserved Altean culture without the horrible deeds he did. Anything can be done without the sacrifice of life, not easily but with hardship, of course. What he did was wrong, really really really wrong. And I don't like him as a character at the moment, he wasn't stripped off his morally gray character but he could have been a better character and what they made him do this season also affected Lance's character making him a background lover boy, which is something I absolutely hate. Lotor isn't a horribly written character but he isn't awesome either but other than killing everything he did was justifyable, the murders were somewhat out of character if we believe his sincereness can take over a society rather than separate people. Allura was an awesome character this season she wasn't perfect but she was very much likeable, brave and independent. Why do I believe Allura could agree with what Lotor did? Firstly we should ask the question, what if the same situation happened but to galra instead, how would she react? Second I'm not saying she could kill thousands of people to save the future and millions more but she could believe a sacrifice must be made in order to obtain peace and victory. "How can you compare the sacrifice of one life to thousands?", you see I'm a Muslim and I live in a secular country with an 80% Muslim population. Back here there are certain people who don't consider some Muslims as muslims because they have certain extreme ideas different than them (believing head scarves aren't necessary, being a nation wide organization that betrayed the government, people who don't consider some Hadith indeed weren't told by the prophet himself bc it's against the Qur'an, these are a few examples of those extremes) but you know what in the end of the keep this up their children or themselves end up joining DAEŞ -isil-, which is an organization that kills Muslims that don't believe their ways bc they consider them heathens and misinterpreted an ayah about war. Not praying behind a different imam lead to them killing innocent lives. I don't like comparing fiction to resl life but I personally wanna be an author and care too much about character expression. Now let's sum these up: Lotor is morally gray but was out of character this season anyways, Allura isn't perfect but still a queen, the producers really hate Lance, huh?
