Something that disturbs me in fanfiction, specifically smut, is when an obviously American writer refers to a vagina as a twat. Like, as a Bri’ish smut writer, it feels weird seeing cunt as a noun to begin with, but when a yank writes something like “he began rubbing at her twat”. It just disturbs me so bad for some reason 😭😭. It’s just so unnatural and feels disgusting to read. If you gave me the choice of bleaching my eyes or reading a serious fic where a yank writer uses “twat”, ring up specsavers and make an appointment.

to answer your question!! it took me awhile to feel safe enough to feel anything for my current object of affection ! i think what drew me in was the way they actually reassured me that they truly care and that i truly matter and how they’re so gentle, patient and understanding with certain behaviours i have. when i realised that they were the real deal and could match my energy, my feelings sort of slapped me in the face. with a brick. this was a lot of word vomit ;^; sorry if i don’t make sense right now!
