WOW my first self ship art with Engie since like?? 2019? 😳 it's always so interesting coming back to an older f/o, but especially since my art has improved a lot since then getting used to drawing him again has been a trip!

Oough I've been looking thru the engie tag while I wait for my bff to pick me up from work and I'M GETTING THE HEART SQUEEZES SO MUCH LIKE...I haven't felt this way abt him in forever and it's just so wild to me that the love was still THERE just waiting to be reignited.

And even though I have loved him before there's still so much that I can think about and it makes it feel almost brand new!! 💖💖💖 I've been thinking about cute little inside jokes like, based on the last post that engie will do the little cowboy standoff pose and he pretends to shoot me and ill fall dramatically into his arms like it's a cupids arrow

And thinking about the kind of music we'd listen to together 👉👈 especially if he has a record player in the workshop, we'd listen to Fleetwood Mac and I think he likes Johnny Cash and I'd show him some rock music I like and sometimes we throw on slow love songs and just dance which turns into just silently holding each other and taking in the warmth of each other and just feeling in LOVE and AND

Also,, my partner calls me 'Junebug' sometimes and it always makes my heart squeeze and I realized that that's definitely a nickname Engie would give me too!! 🥺🥺👉👈💖💖💖

Thinking about like. I don't think it was an AU so much as a timeskip or something where down the line my s/i and Engie settle down in his hometown in a nice farmhouse and he like teaches high school physics or smth and he's one of those teachers that does BATSHIT experiments to keep the class engaged and show them how everything works and they all love him!! 😭😭 and apart from taking care of their kids, Artist teaches art class probably in the same school and sometimes they visit each other's classrooms and are all sickeningly sweet and mushy just to make the kids groan 👉👈💖💖💖

Ok I started thinking about how I sorta have this bad habit of not eating while I'm at work or sometimes all day. It drives my partner crazy, and similarly I think Engie would be a little worried about it too 👉👈🥺 he seems like a very 'breakfast is the most important meal of the day' kind of guy and he'd make sure I took a break and had something to eat even if he has to sit down with me to make sure I do it

I'M CRYING ITS SO CUTE 😭😭💖💖💖 and I've been talking to Nic about how Engie would probably have a stray kitty cat that lives in his workshop that has 3 legs (he'd be like "we're two peas in a pod, ain't we?") Named Buttermilk Biscuit, nicknames include: Butter, Biscuit, or Milky!! He's a little older and creaky and sleeps on his blueprints or on top of dispensers and when my s/i visits the workshop for the first time he takes an immediate liking to her just purring away and rubbing against her leg 👉👈

Looking at Engie and then looking at Rex like...yeah there's definitely a pattern here > . >

Obviously Rex is my top husband, the best of the best
