Released in 2002, this retro-throwback figure is now a retro figure in its own right.

A diecast metal armor change toy that serves as the progenitor of the SH Figuarts line - after all, the "SH" stands for "Souchaku Henshin"

Still one of my favorite figures of Rider 1, after all these years. And my favorite version of Rider 1 - from the Sakurajima crossovers.

特撮ドラマ『仮面ライダー』において、桜島で激闘を繰り広げた「仮面ライダー1号（桜島ver.）」が、アクションフィギュア「S.H.Figuarts」の上位ブランド「真骨彫製法」で立体化されることが明らかになった。バンダイスピリッツの大人向けコレクターズアイテムの展示イベント「TAMASHII NATION 2018」(2018年10月26～28日)の開催記念アイテムとして販売される。
