hello! if i may ask, can i be ⚡ anon?
i think about the fubuutsushi au a lot, and i made a sub-au(?) of my own? an au of an au where k!reader practices suibokuga painting instead of playing the shamisen (after all, i see scara as the more musically inclined one... hehe)
OH OH OH perhaps painter!k!reader finds out that kabu-chan is musically inclined!!! they hear tell that he's 1). learned how to play shamisen and 2). HE GOT GOOD AT IT IN JUST A FEW WEEKS?!?! they very much enjoy painting with kabu's smooth, silky voice in the background (as well as the music he was playing too), it helps them relax while planning out a new piece to hang on the wall...

YESS!!! the concept of K!reader being adept at painting isn't actually all far off from canon :D because 1) k!reader's first master and third master both dabbled in the arts (one was a Geisha, the other a Yokai that had a fondness for collection and sumi-e or the other term for suibokuga painting!!) and 2) k!reader does have a fondness for this even at the current event timeline (after the main story quests) because she recalls the times her and scara have domestic moments which are rare in their dynamic,,,,
regarding the shamisen thing, I actually found it more symbolic her main takeaway to be shamisen oriented, because shamisen are parts of the kabuki theater. it's melodies usually set the mood for the play. scara has these themes of being a trapped bird in a cage and whatnot shes the player of the music backing him up but still having her own equally important role in the story! kinda like how without a shamisen to play inside a kabuki theater, there would be no depth to the lines the actors would go thru... but yes, I do admit, I considered Scaramouche as the musically talented one of the two, just wanted to share why I specifically placed k!reader as the shamisen trademark player lol... And yes feel free to pop up in my Askbox about Fubuutsushi!
wait post edit 1 here: imagine after they resolve things (after irminsul deletion era) and they do that as a way to bond!! omg lovers fr.... Scara plucking away at the shamisen while reader hums a long forgotten tune while they paint... just enjoying each other's company.... (going feral rn)

Intend to return around. Been on a binge of games, anime, manga and light novels so it sparks the muse up and possible potential of a new blog upcoming. In the mean time, some few things to share.
- I don't cry very often on the "most saddest" stuff. Never cried in Your Lie in April, Angel Beats and just saw Suzume which did not make me cry at all. I will say the biggest water works will always be FFX and Xillia 2. My last cry was Eighty-Six.
- Playing Vesperia makes me realize how very relatable Yuri is. I dig the no BS just tell it like it is. Maybe cause I'm older and just don't tolerate it. I feel if I played this on the OG on Xbox 360, I wouldn't really cringe much. I adore the characters, but sometimes it makes me go STFU. (Don't even get me started with Trails of Cold Steel... Love it, but the stfu mood exists there too.)
- Watched Oshi No Ko thinking it was gonna be a cringe idol show, until that. Which I dig since ya'll know I'm in for the dark genres.
- I got asked to be a bridesmaid. Something about that feeling makes me feel honored. We were coworkers 10 years ago and now here we are. Her and her brother got me some things from S.Korea (Skincare products are spectacular. Also Banana Milk is a must try).
- Last one is muse related, but wanna consider a Lightning villain Era AU.... inspired by the dramas I've been watching on netflix. I don't even know how I would even portray this, it would basically be first XIII Lightning. Lol. Kind of like too late to save the world kind or succumb to corruption of an altered??

she takes another quick look at seele's face and nods to herself— yeah, no, it's bed time for her. she can practically feel the weariness weigh down the air. she knows seele was the tenacious sort (she senses as much from her sharp-as-steel gaze) but even stubborn spirits needed their respite.
"it's rich coming from me but: rest. i'll keep watch tonight. i won't let anything happen while you're out." she taps on her electric guitar and smiles, "this bad boy's not just for rocking, if you know what i mean."
