— i have to admit that it was so hard to link your propose to the song, but i really tried my best and hope you like it!! <3
having one of the strongest delinquents right by your side made kakucho raise to the top really fast, and he by himself was a strong person. he was on the top, living on the heaven amongst the kings.
you were proud of him, and were proud about how he never got the aspiration to the top freak him out of his mind. both of you loved to spend time together after a long day, and you loved even more whenever he got clingy to you.
cuddling on the couch, watching a generic sitcom on the tv, he was laying between your legs almost asleep. you couldn't resist, the willing inside you won, you needed to disturb him with tickles.
he woke up in a jump, making you two fall on the ground. you chuckle admiring his confusion, it was absolutely adorable. the fact that one of the kings of tokyo was completly fallen for you was almost unbelievable, but you certainly was one of the things that kept him on his mind, kept him on the ground.
he never aspired the top as the other boys, maybe it was because he felt like the heaven's most precious gift was just now trying to reach him for more tickles. you could keep that guy on his sanity, with his feet on the ground. — literally and figuratively saying.

roses have thorns to protect their fragile from the external world, not that ran is a weak person on this meaning, but he does have giant barriers on his life. he is traumatized, his parents leaved when he was just a little kid and he had to survive the craziness of the tokyo underworld, and protecting his brother too.
he's not a cocky person and an ass because he doesn't care about people, it is because he doesn't want to be attached to them, he doesn't want to be betrayed again, he doesn't want to be left behind. he has high standards for the people he could rely in, it take them a lot of time to have his compassion, it is his defense mechanism.
he used to have a mental list about things he looked for on a person that could possibly be his significant other, he grew up in a high school full of goldfishes bithces surrounding him. for sure they were a good diversion, but this isn't what he wants for his life. he wants more, he wants to be loved, but he is afraid to break his heart.
ran started to pay attention on you the moment you stood for him when he got an unfair red grade, you two weren't close, why are you defending him? do you want anything he could provide? he was amused by how out of your mind you could be, that fact enchanted the boy because you seemed to be as insane as him. that old list he past had on his mind? you would score an eleven out of ten on that.
he was falling in love for someone who was loyal, someone that understood him, that made him feel like he needs more of you. you weren't scared of him, you weren't looking forward any interest, you were proud of who he was inside that thick shell.

— it's the second writing i do about kokonoi and the second that he's an asshole. i swear i don't hate him but the songs yall choose don't let any other possibility remaining 😭
"it was never about the love, y/n, it was about the money"
"what do you mean by that?"
"it's been six months, isn't it? kokonoi lost a bet and got to pay some of his weird friends. you know him enough to know he didn't want to, so they challenged him to date you, making you fall in love with him and he couldn't fall back."
he was over there, a few meters away, laughing with his friends and putting some amount of money on his wallet. you were over here, not knowing what to do next, he broke up with you a few hours earlier without any plausible explanation.
he took your heart and ran away with it, the words of his friend — inui — shooted your heart as sharpen arrows. he was friends with koko but since the beginning didn't agree with that stupid bet, he kept an eye on you two but was too coward to tell you the truh. now he is by your side, feeling the guilty to explain what happened to you.
you didn't want to cry, you felt so stupid. how could you not realize that you were being foolished all this time? every moment you two had were a lie? you should've got it when he spent talking about other girls with his friends, he always tried to change the subject as you entered in but it was already obvious enough.
"you look pretty when you cry, did you know that?" seishu cut the silence, he had been watching the emotions running through your face and tears. once you stopped sniffing he tried to make you feel better. and it worked, he got a small smile from you.
"i will take so much time to recover from it... damn, i'm such an idiot. i believed every single lie he told me" and you still, a small part of you were hoping that in a few minutes you'll wake up from this nightmare, and then hug your sleeping boyfriend by your side. you didn't want to believe that it was really happening, wanted everything to turn back as it was yesterday, kissing koko and being able to call him yours.

KIDS
— i chose kakucho cause i think i'd write him better, i hope you like it!
people often associate dreams to their head, as if their aspiration lives on their brain. but if you think that your dream is your passion, doesn't that mean that it is linked to your heart?
kakuchou always used to think with his brain, not taking his emotion past anything. always doing anything — even the littlest ones — thinking rationally. he was a smart kid and everyone knew him on the orphanage as a little genius, with his mind above his time, a mature kid.
he didn't want to commit mistakes, he would calculate anything that'd do, he was afraid to make anything wrong. that's why he thought too much, about everything, anything, nothing. kakucho was used to live the present, the only thing he never thought about was to have a dream.
everything changed when you arrived. a bubbly kid that could be friends even with a rock, a passionate kid that dreamed high, dreamed all the day. that fact intrigued that smart and rational kid, you were someone he couldn't understand, he was curious about you. he was intrigued by the manner you'd live your life. you were a kid, living with your heart, never thinking too much.
he got intrigued by the fact that you were afraid of the dark. there's nothing there, why are you so scared? you were afraid of the things you didn't know, and got calmed down when he got a flashlight, showing that logically nothing could be on the dark room. you didn't care about logical, you cared about what you could or couldn't see, and you were happy that he showed you that's nothing scary on the dimness.
you two grew up together, little by little he was understanding the way you take your days, little by little he understood your passion through the smallest things. little by little, he got passionated by you.
and nowadays he'd still in love about anything you do, about the way you raise your children. he'd for sure got them the advice to trust their dreams, to follow their hearts. that way they could find their dreamed life, a life with the people you love.

the lights, the people, the conversations, everything was so overwhelming. people coming and going, all of them with their guards lifted up, acting like the kings of the world, as if any other men outside that place was their property. you never liked those things, those scary people, but it was an important and emergency meeting, izana couldn't simply not attend as the leader of that gang.
you're currently seated beside kakucho, you knew each other since the orphanage, alongside izana too. you trusted only the both of them on that room, and the hitto was making sure no one would even dare to approach you two.
the meet continued, and after long, long hours it finally came to an end. you could finally feel better and leave that place with your boyfriend. the person he was when alone with you was so different from that tirant king reigning all those insane men.
"you're feeling good? you seem so stressed" his voice was calm while saying that, he placed his coat on your shoulders as you two walked home. he had genuine concerned eyes while looking at you, waiting for a response "i know you don't like these things, sorry for dragging you along"
"don't worry, i just... i'm getting tired, you act like another person when being on these meetings, kinda make me feel scared. i really don't like that, i like when you take that mask off and just be you, just leave the stage." you say right out of your heart, in a soft way and not having the courage to look him in the eyes. it really impacted izana, and your words were hammering his head, as hard as a sledgehammer.
"i am sorry for that" was all he could say, you both stopped and looked at each other in the eyes. you gave him a short, soft and warm kiss.
"we can talk more tomorrow, i need to take a rest" you said, before he could even protest saying that he'd walk you home. your heart was already hurting enough and walk by his side would make you certainly cry. izana was a real gentleman, but only by your side, only with you. you were tired of that, wanted to show to the world the man you really love, but his urge to mascarade himself and become an actor every second of his day, to make the people he rule fear him was his making you want to give up. you were tired, begging him to be himself, begging him to be the man you fell in love, begging him to remove that damn mask.

the rain was getting more and more rough, wakasa was late for the date you two had, you were worried about him riding his bike at this storm. the waitress came to your table twice to check if everything was fine, you were looking through the window and watching the raindrops running above the glass. you just smiled at the lady, saying that you were okay and your boyfriend was just late for your meeting.
wakasa's friends were also your friends, so you didn't found weird that your phone was ringing with the name of benkei, he may have some news about imaushi. he was brief on his words and all you could got was that they were in a fight, and your boyfriend wasn't waking up.
you packed your things and drove your bike to where benkei said the boys were. apparently they had lost that fight, shinichiro was trying to deal a peaceful surrender because of how bad some of his men were. the sound of an ambulance could be heard and that made a bunch of guys — to be honest, almost everyone there — start to run.
takeomi raised his hand for you to see him, wakasa was laying on benkei's back, thank God he was still breathing. the rain started to fade away as the sun was rising, you caressed your boyfriend's cheek, and that touch made him move his head, like a cat wanting for more attention.
"where are we?" he asked still with eyes closed, the ambulance arrived and benkei helped the paramedics to get the boy on the hospital litter. "we got in a fight and you passed out, we were worried!" his friend said, wakasa smiled softly and looked at you "'m sorry for not attending to our date"
"don't worry about that, we can eat hospital food together" you giggle and give a wave to the black dragon guys, the ambulance could only afford one person per pacient so they would meet his friend already at the hospital. "idiot, don't scary me like that again, got it?"
"you'll never get rid of me, i'm your idiot" he points at the dating ring on his finger "forever"

the night was calm, there were a few clouds on the sky and the moon was shining so bright. it was nor cold nor hot, it was a perfect climate, a perfect night. kazutora arrived home after a long, long day at the pet shop, it seemed like a few clients went there just to test his patience.
the house was in an unusual silence, he was curious since on normal days the first thing he'd see when he first entered home was you on the couch watching some tv, or fallen asleep. he walked through the house and finally spotted you on the backyard, a few lamp posts were lighting up the sight.
he leaned over the door while watching you, on the back of the house there was a little lake, and that would often attract the most various insects. at the moment you were running all over the grass trying to catch some fireflies, collecting them on a jar. he was completly lost on that view, the warm and comfort feeling growing on his heart.
the moment you saw him was the moment you tripped over you own feet and fell into the ground, he laughed and walked on your direction, helping you to get up and checking if you weren't hurt. "welcome home!" you say while hugging him.
"thanks for being with me, i love you" he kisses the top of your head. he was so grateful for having you on his life, every night you two would cuddle together until you both fall asleep, and that was the only way for kazutora to not have insomnia. by your side he was comfortable enough to not be afraid to fall asleep, to not be afraid of his own mind. you were his safe place, and his favorite thing on earth was to catch you doing the most random things, just like tonight, just like everyday. just you being you.

you were addicted, checking your phone once in a while waiting for a message, but nothing would pop-up. you call him, three times, the phone screen saying 'kokonoi, calling...' was torturing you. "the fuck you want?" was the first thing you heard when he picked the phone. it hurted, but you couldn't resist.
"i miss you, can we meet?" your voice was soft, insecure. your friends advice saying that it was a trap and it wasn't the right thing for you were coming and coming to your head. you didn't want to be right, you chose the wrong, you chose him.
after a few seconds you heard a sigh, "i'll be in your door in five minutes" and he turned the phone off. a very little smile came to your face, with a piece of hope.
not a minute late nor early, he was there. time is money and it is a well known fact that kokonoi's only priority was it, the fortune only. you were contracted to your body, a thread of fear ghosting you.
he came and cupped your cheeks strongly, almost hurting. "why can't you fucking leave me alone? i am not yours, i never were and i told you that, don't act like a stupid bitch, don't dare call me again, don't even dare to think of me again." he went away cleaning your tears from his hands. he was assertive on his words and didn't want to hear whatever you have to say.
you used to be his, but only for fun, he only wanted a pastime for him, you were an idiot for falling for that stupid selfish man. and the thought of him being yours wasn't true, he never were.

— im sorry if it isn't good, im sick rn and it's hard to think concrete things jfkamfms
a life of a gang leader means that he is always in a rush, never has time enough for anything, needs to be always ready for any situation, while infinity thoughts run through his head. even if he's currently in an important appointment, his head was never really there. looking through the window, overthinking, regreting his past and watching the rain running.
a strong slap on izana's head made him fall out from his mind, he was trying to imagine your voice once again. everyone there knew how much your leaving affected him, no one dare to touch the subject. "sorry, what are we talking about?"
"i believe it's better for us to take a break" ran proposes, all the other executives leave the room to let their boss alone. kakucho lasted a little longer on the door frame, trying to understand what was going on his friend's head.
izana looks at his phone on his hand, fighting the urge to call you back. once in a while he disk your number, but he never really pressed the buttom to initiate the call. it's been a year now, he still remember as if everything ended just yesterday.
"i wonder if the things could've gone in a different way" he mumbles to the shadows on the floor. he knew kakucho was still there but that doesn't matter anymore, everyone has already seen izana at his worst. "my greatest regret is that i wasn't able to say goodbye, was too coward for that. it's harder to regret something that you didn't do" he regrets all the words he never said. if he had any chance to make you stay, anything that he could've done to change the way the things went, he'd sacrifice himself for that hope, to have you once again.

SUNFLOWER FEELINGS
— i admit that it was so hard to write, it was really hard to associate the lyrics with naoto in any way but i think i got the assignment nfiakd hope you like it!!
getting the hope to save his sister really got Naoto putting everything of his soul into it, he would get more and more broken everyday that his plan wasn't working. he was tired, frustrated and exhausted.
he used to waste some time on the front garden of his house, laying on the grass and looking to the moon. as a kid, he and hina would spend sometime together under the moonlight, playing with each other and running until they're out of breath. it made him calm down, remember the good things.
and as his neighbor, it was easy to see him outstretched on the ground. you appeared on his sight and reach out your hand for him. he was confused at first hut grabbed it, getting up and staring at you, waiting for any words to come out.
you put the free hand on his shoulder and guided him on a dance, calm and soft. the boy had no idea what you were going into, but it seemed fun, and anything you two did together always make him happy.
"why would you fall for someone so messed like me?" he asked while looking to the sky, avoiding eye contact with you. the texture of the grass on you both bare feet was getting more and more uncomfortable. but you two didn't mind, the feeling of dancing under the moon grace was completely worth it.
"i don't know, why would you fall for someone so weird like me?" your words made him look you in the eyes. you really were a singular person, you were the only that didn't believe on his everyday words saying that he's fine. you knew he was lying, and wanted to stay anyways, wanted to be just the two of you. "the same way the moon falls for the ocean everyday, i think i'm getting more and more into you as the time passes."

there's this abandoned building set with some broken furniture and a mattress on the ground. mikey would spend more time on that place than his own home — if that accommodation could even be called a home.
the sun was already gone, he had his eyes closed, and a few heavy tears falling through his face. the bonten boss was layed on the old mattress, he wasn't fine, he hasn't been since you were gone, but he had to keep the things for his men. there are people that needed him.
but he also needs someone, he had no sight of hope since the accident, since you got in a deep coma. he blames himself, every single day, he was the one that convinced you to take that taxi to visit him on the bonten headquarters. if you've stayed home, you'd be fine now, you'd be by his side. the anger inside him would grow more and more as the days passed.
the remedies and treatments were expansive, he was ready to be financially broken if there was any chance to save you, and that made kokonoi almost lose his shit over his boss. everyone else knew you wouldn't come back, it's been almost an year now, but you are the only person that could avoid mikey to fall into darkness, you're the only person that could save him. better saying, maybe you were.
