The Tokyo Revengers Fandom is Dying and I’m Slowly Dying With It: A Rant and Announcement

Minor Spoilers below the cut:

I’ve been a fan of the manga since about 2020 when I read it during the lockdown. I’ve read the manga maybe 4 times over and over. I’ve also read every character book and spin off manga. When the anime series came out in 2021, everybody was so hype for it. There has been talk recently about how the fandom is dying (similar to AOT and Black Butler in my opinion) since the manga ended.

The Tenjiku arc (arguably one of the best arcs in the series) was finally animated and nobody talked about it or was that hype about it. At least nowhere near what it was like in 2021. It makes me so sad :-(

I know a lot of people hated the ending and felt as if it was rushed. We went through all of that just to get a “happy ending”. In my opinion, the ending was good but think about how much more enjoyable it would’ve been if we had gotten a little bit more of a lost tragedy.

Also, we need more Haitani Brothers. We just need a side manga of them that shows their lives and how they came to be. I also think we need more of Hanma Shuji considering what we all went through with him - thinking he was the second time leader but he wasn’t, mans was just there for fun. 🤩

I’m thinking about writing a series with a few OC’s following the exact story timeline. I’m scared to do it because i’ve never written before so I’d like my followers to give me some advice and a push.

In short, we can’t let this fandom die off. I’ve made so many wonderful friends on here who write amazing series based off tokyo revengers.

I’m also going to be signing off for a while. Love you guys! ❤️
