After her father passes out and falls into a coma, she’s taken in by Harumichi. Which was the worst idea ever. My dude can’t help but ruin every child he touches.
❥ She’s… doing significantly less well than in canon, thanks to Harumichi’s A+ parenting. I feel like mentioning that he’s like, kind of worse than in canon because I have daddy issues I’m projecting on him. I needed to maximize the angst, so let’s be a bit canon divergent here~
❥ She’s basically avoiding Toya, so their relationship isn’t really good at the moment. They were really close before, though.
Kanade’s glad that he got out of the shitty situation they were both stuck in, and she doesn’t want to endanger him. She still has a savior complex…
❥ Definitely agender, but she hasn’t really thought about her gender enough to have a crisis yet. You can crack some eggs if you want to. 👍

I'm still working on Jophiel today since she's liked enough plus working on the other blog for stress relief got the ball rolling just gonna say a couple things about the angelic gremlin just to sort my thoughts and give y'all a better stance on what exact hell is going to be unleashed . ♡
— she's definitely the tired artist stereotype with no regard to her own wellbeing when working and has literally spent decades in hiding working procrastinating on a piece since art is usually about taking risks, she's basically the crackhead baby sister that the other archangels long to forget because she's always coming up with the weirdest shit and claiming it's art.
— Jophiel is extremely crafty, she's a king of all trades yet master of none, she's able to DIY her belongings for the most part and it's never clear what craft she's into since she's always doing something.
— as a character, she's definitely a "foil"/"mirror" to Octavia because to my understanding Jophiel is technically a "newer" figure and while she's over the cherubim, Uriel is the archangel that I'm seeing so far that she basically "shadows" for with matching tributes.
— is also known to heal negative emotions and chaotic situations also is called upon mental clarity and creative inspiration so, it's safe to say she's extremely sanguine and easy going or introverted since there's so little known about her. she doesn't do getting worked up and tries to play mediator when there's conflict. Ironically though, she's noted to be a great leader in heaven who directs 53 legions of angels, and also that she is one of two archangels who helps archangel Michael. Considering she's always packing a sword, she's probably not the one to test.
— technically teethers between the sin of vanity pride and the virtue of kindness due to always being associated with beauty, wisdom, understanding, and judgment ( modern day progression is included ). beauty is the main trait Jophiel is acknowledged for and gold as well so, she definitely cares too much about her work and her appearance since she's meant to "inspire" others.
— the bunny motif she takes is a nod at her own symbolism of prosperity in artists, white rabbits are symbolic of love, tenderness, and inner power so it's on the nose.
My head hurts from flipping back and forth through pages but in short she's tired, always and tries to de-escalate situations but won't hesitate to beat the negativity out of you.
