it’s tdov and it’s the first one i’m really celebrating as myself, so i just wanna talk about like important playing izuku has been like to myself since last year. like as some of you like know, the anniversary to me coming out as a lesbian does occur in april. it’s been such a difficult journey mapping out being nonbinary and being a lesbian. my gender and my lesbianism have been so linked to figuring out who i am and where i’m going in life. and through writing a generally happy boy, with a happy good and trans gay characters has been very important to me figuring out life as a trans gay person. i’m very emotional about how difficult this journey has been to me and how much writing has really helped me deal with that.
