no but bad considers himself the expendable one because he IS. he knows he can respawn. thats why he throws himself in front of all danger so the eggs dont have to- he can come back, and they cant.

but its not just respawn- lately, bad has been making some Concerning suggestions that he’s going to permadie, somehow. saying he’s gonna miss the eggs(despite his insistence that theyre alive/will be okay), that he’s expendable, and the Classic: “i dont want to die, yet.” He’s VERY casual about all of this - which can be chalked up in part to the uhhh extreme mental duress/devotion to his goal he’s got going on, but i dont think its JUST his self-sacrificial bullshit.

This isnt the first world bad has lived in. His lore includes a timeloop or a worldloop he was trapped in. he was worldhopping before that. ever since he met him, the only constant has been skeppy. This world is the first one where he hasnt had skeppy. I cant remember if bad explicitly discussed dying in any of those previous lives/worlds, but i would not be surprised if that was one of the things that forced him onto the next world. he knows that he can respawn; he knows there’s another world waiting for him. and, bonus, maybe the next world will have his skeppy. He’ll be okay, in the end. He’s expendable.
