They grow up so fast <3
Cocoa headcanons as a cocoa enjoyer:
Jealousy
An aggressive territorial boar-like cocoa. It can usually be found patrolling around the Apollo cabin or Hades Cabin respectively. When given affection by those that it trusts however, it melts into their lap like a puppy.
Grief
A shy yet kind Cocoa that doesn't understand the size of it's Antlers. Nuzzling results in some unwanted scratches. Unfortunately it loves cuddles and nuzzles. Fortunately, the Atlers can be neutralized with marshmallows.
Guilt
A spider cocoa so of course it spins webs. It sticks to everything and usually sits in a ceiling corner with a web nest. Usually, it's shadowy webs are temporary and fizzle out of existence unless tended to. Not exactly the most cuddlable but doesn't mind a good pat.
Isolation
The most anti-social of the cocoas. Usually you can find it sitting in the shadows watching groups of people. It doesn't like interaction unless it's from those it trusts (aka it's dads) The least affectionate of them all.
Sadness
The blob child here we go. Clingy, lazy, sluggish. Wherever it goes it leaves behind a misty shadowy sludge on the ground. Like snail slime. The trail dissappears upon being touched. This cocoa will do anything to get serotonin and with cuddle with literally anyone and anything. No one can refuse that dopey face. Well... eyes. It really doesn't have a face. The eyes just float around as if they were in a jello monster.
Shame
Timid and skittish. Shame is usually seen hiding under beds, tables, or any box that it can fit in. Yet, it can easily be drawn out from hiding with patience and toys. Literally a lap cat I don't know what to tell ya.

I came into this book with my own bingo sheet expecting to get close to 1 bingo. I got 2 solid bingos while nearly grabbing 3 others lol. My expectations were met and more. I am happy.

i laughed so hard at this scene, it’s so funny for no reason. ALSO HELLO I LOVE TSATS SM IT WAS SO GOOD GUYS literally almost everything i and others predicted came true and the hcs i had were coming to life it was perfect. all the affection too i was dying they’re so lovely

Out of all of the fandoms I've been in, the Percy Jackson fandom is the most outright distructive and yet at the same time accepting one that I've seen. In one corner we have the people who're only here for the art (me) and then in the other corner the Jasico and Percico shippers are planning the distruction of Solangelo. Then there are entire gang wars whenever a book comes out. We are all here united by these trashy books and whether you hate em or love em, this fandom keeps you trapped. Welcome to hell. We have disappointment and dams.
It rivals the Sonic fandom.

As the artist of these drawings (having a seperate tumblr for art is a pain in my butt lol) and as someone who likes to talk on social media I should probably share my opinion on the book. I'm not going to go into supreme detail about things. I mainly want to go into detail with the Cocoa Puffs cuz this post is a Cocoa Puff post lol. If I feel the need to, I may go into more detail about the rest of the book in the future.

As a middle schooler, I adored this book. It was everything I wanted. As an adult with a job, I liked it and admit that there are some flaws.
I didn't expect the Cocoa Puffs to grab my heart as quickly as they did. When they first appeared my only thought was "Okay? So they're Nico's inner demons... I guess they exist now?" But as the book finished up I grew to love em. The only gripe that I have with the scene where they appear is Nyx referring to them as "[Nico's] children". It rubbed me the wrong way. Now it would've been cooler or ever better if she had said, "These are your internal demons." Or even more simply put, "These are your demons." Or EVEN "These are your pets." Even though calling them pets is also weird, it's not as weird as calling them kids. I'm not going to get into the idea that that insinuates a weird relationship between Nyx and Nico because I don't even want to get into that.
Now in the future if Nico says "These are my children" in a joking manner, then I accept that. Most people call their dogs or cats 'children'. I know I do. But hearing an old crazy void lady say it is just plain strange.
I do hope that Will accepts the role of Step-Dad for these blobs of chaos. They need another father figure lol.
Overall, my basic opinion of the book.
It was good. The writting could be better. The pacing could be better. But for a middle grade book, it was pretty good. Nico using actual LGBTQ+ terms made me melt. I literally squealed when he referred to himself as Gay. Will is also Bi which is a major win in my book. Also glad to get some Non-binary attention. As half of the intended audience (LGBTQ+ peeps), I adore how LGBTQ+ it is. Really my only major gripe was Nyx in the Cacodemon scene. The rest of it ranged from Okay to Amazing.
Shame my beloved
I finished this book in a day. Help.

This is the most hilarious bad/good luck I’ve ever had xD
Okay so on Flight Rising I’ve been trying to get my Vio fandragon, right?
One problem: I’m picky about him having those light-colored eyes. Even though they take up all of like three pixels… it’s Vio. He wouldn’t look right otherwise. So, okay, Arcane Rare eyes.
Rare eyes are the rarest (obviously) of the “normal” eye types, but it’s not like it’s anything wild like Primal (<1% chance), right? Rare eyes are about a 9% chance, and I do want him to be male, so call that a 4.5% chance. Not great, but that’s per egg! Average nest has three eggs! And with three pairs of Plentiful dragons, I can hatch six nests a month. If I’ve done the math right, that should be a roughly 50% chance of a male with Rare Arcane eyes each month.
Supposedly.
I’ve been trying for a year and a half. The folks at the nest rental service have been very patient with me. I’ve hatched about half-a-dozen females with Arcane Rare eyes, but not one single male.
It was getting to the point that I wanted to joke that I’d get a Primal before I got my Vio, but I didn’t because I didn’t want to jinx it and have it actually happen.
Guess what hatched this morning.
A male with Arcane Primal, and a female with Arcane Faceted.
The RNG gods are laughing at me.

My close buddies @randompurplekitty9, @susivoi/@wolfvio, & I have done a Christmas collab!
Luka did the Sketch and Shading (and Luka also made a minor adjustment to the BG), I did the lineart and BG, and Tori did the coloring!
If you’re curious what’s going on, Tori is an Elf, Luka is Santa, and I am a Reindeer! We decided to make these to use for Christmas icons for the rest of the year. A little jolly fun during this difficult year!
