IT'S TIME TO BREAK MAGIC. I started messing with the watercolor and oil brush in Clip Studio a few days ago and have been taking a few hours each day to work on drawing Raven Goodwink stuff (one of my current DnD characters). If you're in my game you've seen this one and the next one, but the last one was a test of watercolors in a closer up shot of her uncovered face, so stop reading cause it shows off in full display her face under the messy hair. Anyway, enjoy the bird person order of scribes wizard.

Her village was massacred by a monster when she was a kid and it clawed her forehead up with its ice claws. She doesn't like it. I like how she looks with the rough wash brush though. I enjoy it for doing facial expressions.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is coming out this month. Been a long 12 years. Don't know if I'll be making Tangle and Whisper again at launch, but one day for sure they'll be back. Still messing with the watercolor brushes in Clip Studio.

I started messing around with the different brushes in Clip Studio over the last few days. Decided to take a break from drawing my DnD characters to draw a (relatively) quick Whisper relaxing on her sovereign citizen tree house property and taking time out of her day to personally warn passersby of the landmines and lesbians within. What a responsible homeowner. We love her. Another successful entry in this series of drawings.

WE GOT ANOTHER COMMISSION DONE

I have gotten another commission done by the Dead By Daylight fan artist C3-Tooth (socials here) of one of our current Dungeons and Dragons party. We have yet to get a group name in-universe, so there's no official name to call them. The setting for this game is an underground world, where the surface world was ruined thousands of years ago by a deadly poisonous gas that forced everyone to flee into megacaverns below the surface. Here comes the OK PARTY BREAKDOWN, sponsored by an old friend of the supportivecircle brand, OK Soda. For when things aren't great, but they ain't bad either: OK Soda. Things are going to be OK.

Xericsion Strophariacaea (Zeer-ick-see-on Stro-far-ee-ya-sigh) is a sporeborn swordsman, made with a homebrew Warlord class from LaserLlama. A very noble soul from an isolated society of mushroom people who keep away from the rest of the world who is looking for a friend that left the colony. His sense of right and justice truly embodies the OK Soda ideal of: "OK Soda emphatically rejects anything that is not OK, and fully supports anything that is."

Camille Claythorne is a "human" (aka a Changeling who hasn't told us yet) woman who makes bombs using the Alternate Rogue subclass Saboteur also by LaserLlama. We don't know much about her except she has a bunch of siblings and her mom has excellent skincare routines. When we think of Camille, we think of the OK Soda manifesto and how it says: "What's the point of OK? Well, what's the point of anything?"

Shlerb is an oozeborn who was raised by dwarves. He can shapechange and when he is threatened his gooey form hardens up and loses its color. He is a Warden by Kibblestasty, but with a bit of a homebrewed subclass to make it more Shlerby. He's a loveable goofball who likes pranks and who also saves people and likes adventure. His optimism reminds us of the OK Soda statement: "Please wake up every morning knowing that things are going to be OK."

Raven Goodwink is a corovian who was raised by halflings, before the whole merry village got slaughtered by a monster cause caveworld sucks. She was found by adventurers who raised her on the road because she wouldn't let them leave her at an orphanage. Now, she's all grown up and just graduated wizard academy to become an official Order of Scribes member (after an apprenticeship as an Artificer). She has a tressym named Bread as her familiar, who is also now the spirit that occupies her spellbook and makes it sapient. She can't speak well, so she uses her artificer abilities to instantly write out text in her spellbook when she has a lot to say. I have a lot more to say about her than the others, because she is my character, and I love her. Her pursuit of knowledge and strong mind ring the same truth as OK Soda: "The better you understand something, the more OK it turns out to be."

Years ago, I had a practice of haphazardly redrawing existing comic panels in MS Paint with a mouse and comic sans as a fun means of killing time and making my own "artwork" for an intermission screen for my streams. I should post some of them. Behold the Sonic ones, for all you Sonic fans.

A Dead by Daylight artist I follow posted this message on their Reddit account and it inspired this comic. Also I'm alive just haven't been drawing as much. Took a big trip in October that threw off my art schedule. Bean Bodies directly inspired by C3 Tooth's art style.

My current pre-sleep art project is to recreate the famous Peanuts dance scene with one of my current DnD parties. Last night I got two frames done on Raven's dance and made this. I am a fool for the disco filter in Microsoft ClipChamp, an abysmal program, but the one I have. Raven is here to bust this groove.

(Please do not make her bust a groove, she is not a performer) The background is a stock photo I found and use as a virtual webcam background in our campaign. The song is from the psx game Bust-A-Groove.

It's Time For Some Mother Trucking TRASH

A commission for more artwork of my DnD (dungeons AND dragons) character, Trash, is underway. To celebrate, enjoy some of the various drawings I've done of her over the past year or two. For the uninitiated, she is an ethereal genasi who was dumped in a massive New Jersey junkyard by a grave entity (she is a Grave cleric) as a child and raised by the manifested aspects of the grave entity.

All the coolest couples on Mobius are doing it. Don't ask me why, I'm just an observer of the phenomenon. This was just a Tuesday night in Green Hill Zone. People just love breaking the backs of the people they love for some reason. I think it might be because of their cartoon anatomy or some kind of Mobian endorphin rush that happens when a jelly bean spine is shattered. But what do I know, I ain't no scientist. I'm just the best damn supportive circle there is.

She breaks backs for multiple reasons. She's a complicated girl.

This is my current tracking of some of the relationships taking place in the Sonic comics. Some of them are based on very well hidden lore details if you read easter eggs and text in some of the papers in the background of scenes. Now, it doesn't cover every relationship or character, but I only have so many hours in the day and living cells in my hands and fingers, so I have to trim it down substantially.

In one of our DnD campaigns, one of our player characters is a mushroom person who can use their mushroom physiology to produce synth music as a vocal-type instrument. Last session they performed at the tavern for us and I made this animation. Please cheer for Xericsion Strophariaceae, the sporeborn.

I have now read Issue #64 and know that it is in fact, not about abortions like that cursed zootopia comic. I do however, stand by my statements, as they have not outright confirmed nor denied that Whisper has gotten Lanolin pregnant. As such, my questions still have merit in the hypothetical until this box is opened and we find out if Schrödinger's cat is alive or dead. What are the Restoration's policies on parental leave? What would their baby be called? A Weep? A Sholf? Are there repercussions for cheating within a chain of command? Has Jewel's religious upbringing influenced her decisions in what policies to implement within the Restoration? These are important issues to explore.

I haven't read the latest issue but from what I've seen (a little) compared to the discourse I've seen (a lot) I assume its basically this whole comic again. I personally stand up for Lanolin's bodily autonomy, and she shouldn't carry Whisper's baby to term if she doesn't feel she can do so safely either physically or mentally. Do you agree? I just have so many questions after seeing all the discussion. Does Tangle have a say in it? Does she even know her girlfriend got her teammate pregnant? How did Whisper's affair affect Tangle? Did Whisper even think about Tangle when she did it? WHY did she do it? Could this whole situation have been avoided by communicating earlier? Does the Restoration have maternity and paternity leave in place? I can't wait to read the new issue and find out how they handle these topics with dignity, and with grace.
