15/11 ~ working on an about the first world war, regarding Fischer's thesis. I've saved around 20 articles which I have to read, yesterday I tagged and read chapters from some books. Today I plan on finalising my argument then typing out atleast one paragraph supporting the statement! Happy Sunday

A picture from earlier, starting my essay on theoretical and particular fascism. Hopefully I’ll finish in the next week so I can actually enjoy my holiday the week after. This is the goal for this coming week!

Best thing about passing onto second year is that I can now buy whatever stationary I want! Do you guys have any notebook suggestions? I have 6 modules next year

In Portugal the modules are eurocentric, but we have optionals modules about India, Brasil, Islam, Mesopotamia and Egypt... And, with the portuguese discovers, we learn many things about the Orient.
Oh cool, I suppose its like that all over Europe, my optional modules get more interesting next year too with modules on themes in African history and some politics modules too! In England our modules are also through the English lense so the British empire and stuff from an English perspective.

GE2015
Today I voted in my first ever general election and it felt really good! I know the party I voted for won't win in my constituency and probably not overall with a majority but at least I know I stood up for what I believe in and how I want the country I live in to be run.
I think it’s so important to take part even when you know you may well be on the losing side cause after all in the UK more people don't vote than those who do!! Hopefully people realised the importance in voting in such a close election and realise the faults of those in power. If we have to live another 5 years under the conservatives then I definitely won't be happy and so many other people will suffer their heartless policies but I’ll know I did my part!

Listening over 2 hour long lectures are the biggest drag, but the benefits are you get to fill in the gaps in your notes. Pray for me
