Taking a look at the copyright info in the Brazilian Portuguese version, I found the original font used for Ford's handwriting in the Gravity Falls Journal 3:
Norwich, designed by Nicholas Garner and published by AVP.
Comparison made with a demo of the font for demonstration purposes only, the full commercial license costs $29.
#reblog#GF#oddly the fan recreation looks more like that screenshot than the actual font they actually used does#since the real font has ligatures to give a better cursive effect while the cap clearly has some awkward connections between the e and r#curious as to the history here now
