Rosa’s first meeting with Peter and Miguel was certainly an…interesting one…( ✌︎'ω')✌︎

Fun fact about Rosa's universe of Nueva Manahatta: it's heavily influenced by what the early 20th century (especially the 1950s) thought that the future (or specifically the 2000s) was going to be like. And what's more it's actually "2002" in her universe too which certainly causes some confusion among the other spiders~

I redid my spidersona Rosa’s design to make it seem more retro and I forgot to upload it here. It took me forever to do but here again is Rosa Morena aka Tarantella!

Again she’s a spider woman from the retro futuristic Earth-5619 of Nueva Manahatta. It’s heavily inspired by the 1950s and 60s along with golden age superhero’s and atom punk! Her spider powers are also based on the Rose-Haired Tarantula and she also has plant-based powers too!

i’ve been thinking about tweaking the main color for my spidersona Tarantella‘s outfit since im not totally feeling the pink and wanting to make it look more vintage-y. 🤔 Im kind of partial to the yellow but I kind of also like the dark green and red too. what do y’all think? 🤔🤔

Wanted to jump into the Spiderweb Gala that’s happening on twitter with Rosa! I wanted to try doing something with subtle inspiration by traditional Dominican costumes and while the skirt’s not flared out i still wanted to incorporate all of the ruffles along with putting larimar patterns everywhere too. ✌️✨

Jumped on the spidersona train and made my own. ✌️✨ Introducing Rosa Morena aka Tarantella! For the past 5 years she’s been the one and only spider woman of Neo Manhattan, in the “far off future” year of 2002! She’s heavily influenced by 1950s retro futurism, atom punk and golden aged superheroes, along with being pretty corny and a total people pleaser! Rosa used to be Harry Osborn’s personal secretary/girl friday (as well as his best friend) until an experiment of his went terribly wrong (and may or may not have been sabotaged by his father…) where Harry got horribly mutated (a la “The Fly”) and Rosa ended up getting her powers.

Since then she’s lost Harry, lost her job, and had to fend off Norman Osborn’s attempts to hunt down “the murderer” of his “beloved” son…

I got to be in this year's @invisobang and create something for @arlieash-blog's awesome Halfa!Valerie fic "Changes"! Not to mention, for the first time in a very long time I seriously did a comic because I wanted to properly convey this particular scene from the fic! Either way this was super fun, and I'm glad that I got to participate again, thanks everyone!

Long overdue gift art for @arrthurpendragon for her birthday exchange! I decided to do a faux-book cover piece of Cori'iana and Obi-Wan from her fanfiction, "Safe & Sound" based on this vintage photograph! It took me a while to finally get this done since I did a lot of experimenting in CSP but I'm glad that it came out as well as it did and I hope that @arrthurpendragon loves it too! Happy extremely Belated Birthday!
