- Clashes between SAF and RSF reported around the outskirts of Elfashir, North Darfur today.
- According to state officials, the recent clashes in North Darfur have led to displacement of 70,000 people.
- A reminder that activists, experts and intl community have all warned against clashes erupting in Elfashir, the only safe haven left in the Darfur region, where (along with its original population) some 800,000 people have sought refuge over the last year.
- Clashes between the warring factions were also reported in Khartoum and Omdurman.

emory encampment just got violently raided by police after 5 hours of peacefully handing out food. i personally saw videos of a person having their heads thrown into the ground, a Black person clearly marked as a street medic being held down and tased repeatedly, and police grabbing and shoving people violently. a person was choked as they were thrown to the ground. there are reports of not only tasing, but tear gas and rubber bullets. remember also that this isn't just emory students, but students from universities across georgia— here are testimonies from spelman and morehouse students about the raid.

if you are in ATL show up to EMORY now or show up to the DEKALB COUNTY JAIL (addresses below). emory encampment just got violently raided by police after 5 hours of peacefully handing out food. i personally saw videos of a person having their heads thrown into the ground, a Black person clearly marked as a street medic being held down and tased repeatedly, and police grabbing and shoving people violently. a person was choked as they were thrown to the ground. there are reports of not only tasing, but tear gas and rubber bullets. remember also that this isn't just emory students, but students from universities across georgia— here are testimonies from spelman and morehouse students about the raid.
the bail fund is the ven/mo @hallestewart and the atl solidarity fund is helping as well
if you are in ATL show up to emory now. hundreds of students and community members have taken the place of the arrested, but WE STILL NEED MORE! we CANNOT let this happen again. EVERY BRUTALIZATION IS THE RESULT OF NOT ENOUGH COMMUNITY PROTECTION.
if you would like to make your feelings known to representatives and campus officials, contacts below. DEMAND any charges be dropped, and that students do not face disciplinary action. DEMAND justice for the people brutalized at emory.
and remember that there is a reason that the police in a predominantly Black county are the ones responding the most violently.
