Safeshiptember day 1: fall weather

~3rd person pov~

It was a somewhat normal day star was walking through the woods while syntax follow behind her carrying a rake 

“Why are we out here in the forest again?” Syntax asked seeming very annoyed “well cause I wanted to make the biggest leaf pile to jump in!” She said continuing to walk “and the forest is the perfect place!” Star added seeming very enthusiastic about this “star….it’s way too early for this” syntax said “it’s never too early to make a leaf pile!” Star said continuing to walk until she finally stopped in a area she believed had a lot of leaves or at least enough to make a leaf pile “babe can you give me the rake!” Star said holding her hand out noticing syntax got very flustered when she called him babe “what’s wrong babe?~” star asked teasingly as she finally turning around to face him “you seem a bit flustered~” star said teasingly which made him even more flustered “s-shut and take your rake!” Syntax said handing her the rake as his face became a dark purple color “thank you babe~” star chuckled before she started to rake a bunch of leaves putting them into a pile “why did we even have to go out into the woods just for this?” Syntax asked “well we live in a apartment so we don’t have a backyard” star explained as she continued to rake the leaves the pile getting bigger “dammit…I’m kinda stupid for asking the question…” syntax said seeming a bit embarrassed “don’t call yourself stupid babe! You’re way smarter then I’ll every be” star said as her leaf pile got bigger and bigger by the second until she finally raked up all the leaves she could “finally I’m done!” Star exclaimed throwing the rake to the side as she sat down on the ground for a second then she got up “welp I guess it’s time to jump into the leaf pile” star said started to move farther from the leaf pile “wanna join me babe?” Star asked holding out her hand “I would rather not…” syntax said “come on!” Star said seeming very disappointed by his response “do it for me…” star said looking over at him with pure disappointment which made syntax feel kinda bad “fine…but I’m only doing this for you cause I…sorta kinda love you…” syntax said still trying to deny his feeling even when they very technically a couple then he walked over to star grabbing her hand “that’s the spirit!” Star said as she quickly started to run over to the leaf pile dragging syntax along with her as syntax barely was able to keep up then star jumped into the leaf pile with syntax right by her side then they both fell into the leaf pile which was pretty deep then they both finally came up out of the leaf pile syntax had a few leaves in his hair “you’re so cute with leaves in your hair…” star said smiling softly “uh…whatever…” syntax said getting very flustered again still having trouble getting used to the affection “I’m just being honest!” Star added as she started to chuckle again then she finally got up from the leaf pile helping syntax up “thanks for actually jumping in the leaf pile with me….” Star said in a more serious tone “you’re welcome…” syntax said standing there awkwardly then star gave him a quick peck which made him super flustered again “let’s go home babe” star said picking up the rake starting to carry then with her free hand grabbed syntax’s hand then they both started to walk away
